Hi aucklanderatlarge
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

With numerous DNFs and no CO intervention, online or physical it looks like this one might need finishing off. Not enough cover at my indicated GZ for a small cache.
No luck for us here either. It does seem like it has gone missing.
Nice spot though.
Nice spot though.
Plenty of geotrails and signs of lots of searching here. We spent a good while here also, but to no avail.
Didn't realize this had dnfs on it and a bit blustery today to venture along to find it without assurance it is there. Hopefully the owner can check
Looks like it might be missing. We came a while back and found and back again with friends. Not where it was last time.
Despite being with a previous finder and 2 muggles who came and helped us search we came up empty handed
With 5 of us searching including a previous finder and 2 muggles (who happened to be walking by and joined us) we came up empty handed.
Thought it was a bit exposed, but returned exactly as found. Good spot we have been to a few times before.

Was waiting for a family to move on by when they suddenly asked us what we were looking for. Luckily they knew about geocaching. Hopefully we’ve inspired them to give it a go. This nice easy one would be a good place to start. Tftc
Depending on how you look at it, there are quite a few choices for GZ. After one wrong start, I eventually found the right one and the cache.
Just as I was coming back to the trail, I heard a lady making horse sounds as she came up the trail with her husband. When she was closer, I asked if there were any horses around and she turned beet red since she didn't think anyone else had heard her. TFTC.

Nice to find such a new cache and at a spot we love. Saw a grey warbler at base of climb. PINO TFTC
Was Geocaching at Puhoi and Whangaparoa today with nette1234.
I was keen to get to this newish cache at Shakespear Regional Park.
I didn't read the directions or listen to Jan unfortunately so we made the big climb up the hill ...
Luckily Jan showed me the easy way down after we found the cache in its pristine container!
Thanks aucklanderatlarge for your second cache placement!
I remember getting your first one...that one was a bit scarey up so high!
