Just arrived in NZ for a whirlwind mega long weekend. With some crafty research I had worked this out at home but still had to visit the Friendship Garden. Love the concept. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Great way to bring more attention to the Bridges of Friendship garden, it's very cool and isn't appreciated enough!
Im visiting from Wellington to see my daughter who is at UC. I had a few hours to spare while my daughter was studying in the library nearby so I decided to try to solve the puzzle. No problems at all, and quick find. Cache is nice and dry. TFTC
I didnt know this was here! I mustve passed it hundreds of times and never really paid attention. Thanks for the cool lesson. I must say, that description had me a bit worried for a sec about how this one would be solved. No problems sorting the numbers and making the find. The hint is super helpful.
I had sorted this one out a few weeks ago.. today is a pretty warm one, so thought I'd go for a multi in my stockpile for wet/hot days when I'm feeling lazy. On the Sunday I sorted out the numbers, I had no issues, nice to explore the uni a bit without feeling like I'm in an area I shouldn't be. Today at the final, I also had the area to myself and quickly located the cache. Thanks for the placement, Sir.TFTC StreetWalkerNZ, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 1 find(s) of 1 today, making this find #4634
I had a lot of fun sorting the numbers in September, when I was on campus for a conference. I decided to save the final for a multi dot day, and it came very handy today while sorting a couple of errands in town. Nice and quite around hz and a quick find. TFTC!!
This cache intrigued me when I was visiting the stream near by with my brother in October when I was keeping him company while he was recuperating. We had parked very close to here so he could inspect the state of the stream as he oversaw the combined project between the council, university (and I think Ng Tahu) originally. But he wasn't up to much walking and so I decided I'd come back on another visit - today! Very interesting concept and write up thanks StreetWalkerNZ. Thank goodness for checksums is all I can say because not all things are as they first seemed. I really enjoyed my wander to the final too - it reminded me of walking through the woods in England except missing the bluebells. A very enjoyable multi all round - have a favourite. TFTC # 20,705
Quiet day round here so good time to sit and think …..hmmmmm digital roots are something from the past ….managed to get the facts and the answers and back to the final …. Easy in the end TFTC
Yay. had been to the site a few times and now I have the cache finally. great puzzle and also cool mathematical problem to highlight! Find # 833
Interesting garden; Thanks for all the points I probably would have missed if they were not explained. Final very well hidden and dry +FP; TFTC

Very slowly filling that yearly multi grid.
Did a bike ride after work today to get this one. I feel like I've been to this spot for caching before. But can't figure out what cache. Maybe an AdLab?
Anyway, I quivkly got the numbers, summed them up, checksum didn't agree. Had a look at all the slats again and discovered that the bridges that didn't look "slatty" were in fact slatty.
After that the numbers were in good order and I went to the final. Dark already, but with the hint it wasn't hard to find the right spot. Cache well hidden but still there and all in good order.
Kia ora! Paldies!
Thanks for the cache, StreetWalkerNZ!

I'm sure I found the right spot, but couldn't find cache. Any hints appreciated:)
A lovely peaceful spot for the final with the trees, and interesting multi in a spot I hadn't been to. Thanks!
While I was doing the Nearby AdLab I decided to gather the info required to calculate the coords for the final which I will sign off today. for my multi dot-day.
An interesting piece of art.
Cheers for the cache.

Puzzles were solved weeks ago, but had difficulty location the actual GZ. It seems I cannot understand the hint. Asked the previous GC who found it, got some hint over hint…but still got it wrong. Went there again today, started at the same GZ thought I wasn’t looking carefully. All of a sudden I thought, Huh, what if I was totally wrong about the GZ, then went to the other potential spot, aha, right there! Got the cache, signed the log, right after 8ManAfter. Also received the bug he placed, now moving on!

I came to this one on a nice New Year's Day bike ride. Lots of people out and about, but not on campus.
Nice to see this history recorded here, and since I work on the same campus, I was keen to hear it so I can pass it along.
GeoYoungling #3 is an avid Chess player, so he was interested in solving the "8 Queens" problem once I told him about it after getting home. He got there in the end. Budding computer scientist maybe?
I dropped a wee traveler I brought from Europe. Happy Trails!

A Xmas morning exploring the campus (it is huge - what an advantage to have a lot of flat land to spread out in)... and we bumped into Auckland cachers also doing the Sculpture adlab, which was fun. Interesting having the construction history and maths background explained. The final was exactly where you look on Xmas day! Citoed the takeaway packaging.
Nearby for work today at my favorite centre so completed this multi.
Uni is fairly quiet at this time of year so I managed to park in visitor parking for small fee.
The final was a quick find- the hint is spot on
Thanks for bringing me here- as a student, then post-grad and later as a UCSA employee I had hustled and bustled past this garden many times as well as other features around campus, never stopping to take a closer look or find out the significance of certain points of interest.
I love Geocaching for this reason especially- I am learning so much more about this amazing city we live in.

A bit of fun with the puzzle at the GZ then reverse a bit for the cache. I remember getting accurate time for the Lincoln Uni network from the Canterbury Uni (and IRL & Massey I think), so it might have been you I dealt with years ago! Cheers
Another tick around uni A quick juant from my hovel in engcore was just what the brain needed. TFTC
We did the homework for this one on a Sunday. Now trying to do a month of multi's for a challenge so this was it today. Mr C had a checkup on this side of town and we came here after for a walk. Happy to find the cache and sign log. A fav from us as enjoyed the info gatherering and the final. Thanks for this multi StreetWalkerNZ.
Took 1 or 2 goes to get the checksum to work - there was a sneaky Queen I missed the first time! Loved the garden - I used to teach the story of the Bridges and network theory to seconday school students in a University outreach program in South Australia.
Cache box was a little damp, but exactly where the coordinates and hint said it would be! TFTC

Thanks for hiding this cache JD and I decided to go on a bike ride this weekend and incorporate this multi. Thankfully we found it easily this time. Thanks for replacing the missing cache StreetWalkerNZ I appreciate it.
I had a few minutes spare today before heading to the nearby event, so decided to complete this multi. Eventually got some numbers sorted and the final wasn't too far away. Thankfully the area was deserted this morning and the cache was a quick find. Thanks for the cache,
Just clearing the needs maintenance attribute after replacing the cache a few weeks ago.
Replacement cache in place a few metres from the original location (hint updated to reflect new placement).
Sorted the final coordinates some time ago but left retrieval for a dot day. Given that it had been muggled once, decided to sign the log as soon as the replacement was in place. Recovered well, just as found. TFTC!
Gosh for a moment I thought it was gone again but no, just very well covered. The multi was interesting and I enjoyed finding the answers in Level 3 on a bike ride. Thanks, StreetWalkerNZ.

Cache is AWOL. Will look to get a replacement in place in the next few days.
I did the groundwork for this cache during level 3 and came and checked out the final. It was there then but is now gone. ? Looks possible a dog rooted it out and its owner maybe took the container. Now I'll have to go find another for the second I need today. Darn!
A nice quick find thanks. It is a nice wee garden and the final was well out of sight. Cheers.
Ms_KR and I are cruising around town catching up on some local caches.. It was supposed to rain, but the weather has been great!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Oops! Nearly forgot to log it!
I called in after an early Saturday shift so parking wasn't an issue. I soon had the required answers and moved into the sun to plug in the new coords (very cold in the shade at the waypoint).
Given the cold I took a short drive to a spot near the GZ then a wee walk to find the cache and sign the log.

I come to the Jack Erskine building once a week for chinese language lessons. I worked the numbers out for this cache a while ago when I was waiting for my class to start.
Today I was in the area during the daytime so I wandered over to GZ and made a quick find. TFTC .

As we didn't reach the University yesterday for Open Christchurch, and our son's playdate was cancelled, we decided to come and visit some buildings. It was great meeting passionate people. We learnt about architecture and many buildings. there were some science experiments on, and this nice multi, with a great problem. No one saw us counting early morning, and when we went for final, one of us took a wrong approach, despite the rest of the team telling him off. He ended up with some dog poo on his shoe. There is no need to take the short / hard way to the cache. Both container and logbook were in good condition. thanks
MY 11 year caching anniversary - hard to believe there was a time in my life without this obsession along side me !
purdiepurdie kindly joined me in celebrating with a few choice caches - this was the 1st.
Thank you for this interesting history, SWNZ - I had heard of the Bridges of Konigsberg problem but not really appreciated its complexity, previously.
TFTC - FP from me. Quick find after a pleasant strool on a lovely autumn day.

This was a lovely multi from beginning to end.
A favourite point from me.
Thanks for creating this cache for others to enjoy.

An interesting place to visit. Had a bit of a tussle with one of the answers but it got sorted with the checksum. The final was a quick find and sign. TFTH and taking me there.
Had done the legwork on this multi last month but left the paperwork for another day. Today is the day as I needed a multi find today as I have never found a multi on the 7th April before.
Last visit, I was on a bike, but today, as I was doing some cache maintenance as well as picking up a few grocery supplies, I was in the car and wondered how close I could get to GZ. Reasonably close, I was pleased to find . GPSr spot on.
Good to revisit the garden again. TFTC.

A very special place and an opportunity to visit that we appreciated. Found the questions doable, but left the chase to the final until today!! A very busy spot on a Sunday. After a brief stroll today, the hint explained itself and we found ourselves in the pink, as it were and with a big smile. Thank you.
Rather good timing spotting this on a Friday, and deciding to look at the bridges on the way to the club. I've been there many times but the significance was completely lost on me. Even better was that the final was in the right direction. GZ was well out for me- nearer the last one but the explicit hint sorted that. Thanks so much for enlightening me.
I made this cache the main reason for cycling in from Redwood - I hadn't ridden the railway cycleway for quite some time. The fact that it was a Sunday meant that I wouldn't likely have to contend with many muggles. In fact none appeared at all when I was at the Friendship Garden. One of the questions was a puzzle to me but I got around it by subtracting the total I had from the checksum and using that for the answer. The resultant coordinates, when viewed on the gps, looked good enough for me to get back on my bike and go investigate.. As I neared the final coords the hint made a great deal of sense to me. The find was made shortly after. Thanks for the cache StreetwalkerNZ.
Completed in only one visit. Just as well I had read the cache page the evening before and understood what to do. Quiet around here today but the student district is starting to fill up.
Didnt think we were clever enough to solve this one. Must admit it took 2 visits as we made some silly counting errors. A lovely day to go for a wander. Thanks StreetWalker for improving our maths we enjoyed our walk. TFTC

Got back from a lovely family walk and picnic lunch at Washpen Falls too see this one get published...hmm. was of two minds whether to head out or not...ah, why not.
Soon enough parking up in the Science/engineering carpark....(free today, sunday) and wandered across the road to the published. A nice wee garden and tribute to engineering/maths.....Quiet enough at gz to gather the numbers and then wander over to gz for a quick find and sign. Thanks!
