I enjoyed solving this puzzle a while ago.Today, the rain broke and the sun came out just in time for a late arvo walk. Thanks 737s for another puzzle and new trails in the bush.
#7704Ventured north with [Purplepeopleater](https://coord.info/PR4X0DC) and [bella at waggy](https://coord.info/PR5DQ4Z) lured by the Cockle Creek series. Having completed the paddle, time to target some more caches.Haven't solved this one yet. Will convert to a smiley once I solve the puzzle.EDIT 6/9/24 - managed to solve the challenging puzzleTFTC lee737
Crash and PPE where keen for the Cockle Creek series which Id already done but I needed some paddle board miles for a longer river trip in a few weeks so tagged along and figured there would be a few caches after. A few on the solved list to collect in this nice bit of bush. Signing duties done and onto the next. TFTC.
Moved to this neck of the woods to do a bit of a circuit for a number of previously solved puzzles. SL TFTC
Out caching today around the Newy area, focusing on clearing up some areas where Ive found all the other caches, and exploring Blackbutt reserve. Snack situation: optimal- Doughheads pink doughnut Step count: 16000Weirdos spotted: lots of whiny muggle children, and lots of children calling the animals the wrong things at blackbutt reserve Im sorry but if your child identifies the little nocturnal bandicoot things as cockatoos. You cant be offended if I laughEnd of cut and paste. There was no real rattlesnake but there was something that rattled at GZ and it was the cache! Lots of mud about today and my boots quickly got dirty. TFTC
Needed help from the CO to work this one out, so thanks for that! Nice easy find out in the field tho and a fab solid container. TFTC!!
Phone GPS sent me in circles and ended up checking every tree in a 20m radius.
A word to the wise: there is only one tree here that could feasibly fit the cache. If you check it and don't see, get a better light because I checked this spot twice with my phone flash and didn't see it. Only after reading the comments here did I have the same experience.
Maybe we should make it fluoro pink? I doubt anyone will accidentally stumble upon this tree 8m off the track.
I have attached a photo for those who are having trouble.
The puzzle for this cache was straight forward once I got my second round of help, I admit I am not good at this game today.
Tftc!

And yet another Team737 solved one. Was on a roll. Cache was a little tricky to find. Was in the obvious spot we first looked but then needed a 2nd better look. TFTC
Find it after a 40 minute search and a few phone calls to previous finders. Very obvious once you found it. So
TFTC. Cache and log in good condition

TFTC. I solved this puzzle last year and was glad I could come and find it today. I looked where we found it 3 times, Deni-f looked 3 times. We rummaged around for about 40 minutes. Phoned a few friends and in the end called the CO. Found it straight away. Couldn’t believe we had missed it. Thanks Lee for your help.
catching up on some very well overdue logs which i grew awful to completing…. i will adjust date according when i have access to my computer again. tftc
Solved this one a month ago or so but waited until I had solved another nearby one before finding it. Cool area for the cache, and it was a quick find once spotting the likely tree. TFTC!!! #1995
My first cache of the day. I solved this a while ago, and at GZ I found it straight away. TFTC!
I think i got a little nudge from a friend which is one way of learning all the tricks. I searched there several times, but it is deceptive, but to look at it isnt. TFTC.

After making the move to Orange a couple of days ago, I had to come back to Newcastle for one last load, and so arranged to meet up with Big Matt for a last hurrah of caching in the area.
With having to drive back to Orange this afternoon, I prioritised this one as it’s has been one of the closest to home for quite a while. Not anymore. Once at GZ, the good coordinates had us right in the right spot.

Out with MV today on a caching trip before he heads off to greener fields. The actual cache was a quick find we stopped and chatted back at the car for ages and were visited by a friendly kookaburra. Safe travels MV.
Thanks lee737 for the cache.

I went for a (muddy) walk in here today to do some repairs on another cache, dropped by for a look. Everything looks good, just replaced the pencil.

techsavvy9 had managed to find what was needed to solve this puzzle after I was trying to solve it all the wrong ways. The CO kindly gave me a nudge in the right direction which was needed, thanks. After techsavvy9 and I did a nearby series I decided to grab this one on the way home , I managed to get a park at the start of a trail which lead straight to GZ and then I walked in circles for a while before finally spotting a good hiding spot . another well made container was then found. Fav point for the great walk and clever puzzle. Thanks for the cache Team737 tnln replaced as found sl

I solved this one soon after publication but we were in COVID lockdown then so it went in my post-lockdown must-do list. Somehow I kept not being in this area, or it was too wet, then it was Christmas and New Year and then too wet again, but finally today I took the old highway north on my way to the GCNSW event in East Maitland and dropped in for the cache. I headed in along the shortest track to GZ but it was also the muddiest, so after making the find I took the alternate higher route back via the school. The cache is all snug and dry, of course.
I signed the log as BFJ as there wasn't room for much more than that. Many thanks for another enjoyable puzzle and hide.

Luckily a very funny comedy skit on this topic rang a bell and I had the in for the puzzle and soon had the right numbers.
I actually had more trouble with the hide and was looking at this all the wrong way.

A bit of a ride to get to this location as the short cut from the Fernleigh Track that I wanted to do involved a crossing across the weir and then the track on the otherside looked very overgrown.
Near GZ there were more compass issues, but I was convinced that the cache was going to be in the "obvious" structure, but there was nothing there. After a while went back and had a proper look and there it was - not expecting that sort of a container, but I was pleased to find it.
Now to carry on these minor tracks to get back to the main track.
Thanks lee737.

I'd solved this not long after publishing, but due to lockdown restrictions I wasn't able to get out to make the find. I then forgot all about until now.
After finding another Team 737 cache, eemiaj and I made our way to this cache.
Parked as close to the cache as I thought I could get, and made my way to GZ, and as is usually the way, found an easier way out after making the find. Thankfully no snakes today, rattling or otherwise. TFTC

A quick find during a work lunch break. Needed a hint to solve as I was way off track with my original thoughts. TFTC
Like BFJ, ive solved it, just have to wait for the plague to clear to go snake wrangling
Found after dropping son at footy practise, solving this a few days ago and having a good look so I don't know how I missed this as it was in the first place I went to on Sunday. nice container and well camoed.

Find No: 8245. Gave up quickly on the puzzle until shaneo58 gave me a hint, we came out this morning and searched forever before checking with the CO. It was hidden in the obvious place that we had both searched a number of times, thanks for the cache Team737!!
Found this morning with Grub Fred. I liked the puzzle not too hard, but finding the cache had us rattled a bit as our phone had us walking in circles but got it in the end. TFTC TEAM737. What is the next one in the series? A Black Mamba may be?
**FTF** yay! Been ages since we’ve had a first to find.
I enjoyed the simplicity of this one. Recognised a pattern in the letters early on and then set my 7 year old the task of co-solving. Remarkably quick when you know what you are looking at.
A fun walk this morning while we still can! Stay safe people. The dreaded lurgie seems to be on the way. TNLN TFTC
