We're visiting Westport for a day and did the rounds last night. Made a stop for a couple finds here and found this first, a bit closer to the trail than we expected. Thanks for the tour hazedarus.

My husband and i are on a 2 week vacation around the south island from BrisbAne Australia and today we travelled from Nelson to Westport and we really enjoyed the lab cache and then a bonus to boot. The bonus was in a lovely place and once we got to GZ we soon spotted this cache. Thanks hazedarus for the fun lab and bonus

Don't remember the bonus when I did the lab cache but got it today.

13-Feb-24
Nice little bonus after a bike around town answering questions. Easy find. Thanks.

Having a quite Saturday indoors and needed to get some fresh air...short drive to gz and an even shorter search had the cache in hand...I do like a good "bonus" cache..

I have been picked off the labs one or two at a time everytime I was in Westport and enjoyed the places they took me. This was my target cache for yesterday but luckily I thought better of it in the dark. Today I finished the last of the labs and then headed off to find the cache. After searching a few hint items I decided the terrain and/or difficulty was much higher than that listed so I extracted myself back in to the open and had a look for a better option. Bingo - cache spotted straight away. Have a favourite for the lab tour of Westport. TFTC # 19,596

Lots of hint items to choose from, just spotted something different out of the corner of my eye; TFTC

19-Apr-23
Yay! TFTC! I came all the way from Vancouver BC Canada to find this cache Thanks for being part of the adventure!

Left a special trackable behind Smile

09-Jan-23
The last cache bought us to the final waypoint for the local adventure lab ( the other 4 points being collected earlier today) so we quickly found the answer to that and were pleased to see we needed to pass the final on our way to the next cache. After spotting and checking many hint items Andy eventually found the cache at a place we had already checked. tftc

Completed the ad lab and happened to be quite close so a lovely early morning walk resulted in a smiley for me. No worries with the cache. Thanks

Did the lab yesterday but too many muggles to attempt the final. No one around today

01-Apr-22
I thought I had better finish off the lab cache series before leaving town so got dropped off at GZ while mr rattll put diesel in the campervan.
Lots of hint possibilities but i found the right one eventually.
Thanks for putting this here

23-Mar-22
A walk thru the domain to get the caches in here. Solved most of this the other day only had the domain one to solve today and then it was off to GZ. Searched a couple of places before I was at the correct one. Thanks for putting together the adventure lab and cache.

13-Feb-22
After completing the adventure lab we made our way to gz for this cache. We had to choose our paths carefully as some of them were under water from the recent floods. This one almost had us stumped, but after a meticulous search we found the cache tucked away. TFTC

11-Jan-22
After gathering all the info from doing the associated AdLab I was off to where I had spent quite a bit of time previously. Found at the second hint item.

Cheers for the cache.

I enjoyed the Adventure and the interesting places it took me. Some people don't like having to visit the sites in sequence but it makes perfect sense to do so in this case. I was not expecting the cache to be difficult to find and I soon spotted something that looked likely. Having no joy there, I then needed to check another couple of places before I found the good sized container. While I didn't initially think so, I believe the cache owner has chosen the best hiding place.

07-Dec-21
Hunted high and low but no luck

20-Nov-21
I did the labs caches last night but it was 11 pm by the time I finished them I figured I'd leave this one today. I hit the cycle trails this morning followed by a couple around Charleston so decided to do the last few caches I had around Westport after dinner as I need night caches for a challenge. Found at the 3rd hint item I checked. Thanks for an enjoyable series of labs and bonus hazedarus

Found after a quick search around great hide loved the adventure lab thank you for the cache

01-Nov-21
Having done most of the adventure lab cache I just had one more stage to do. Today was the day to complete it and since I was nearby this worked out well.

I really do enjoy the lab caches as we often get to see and learn about new areas and unfamiliar things.

The final for this one was an easy find, and thanks to a conversation at a recent event I remembered to finish off a nearby multi that we had started years ago. Bit of a bonus that was Smile

Thanks for the lab caches and thank you for the smiley

I'm in Westport for the long weekend. I haven't been here for a few years now so a geocaching visit is long overdue. I enjoyed the Adventure and found the bonus too. I had a similar experience to karma reprint - got a bit confused as to whether I was finding this cache or the Date Lime multi. Got both. TFTC, Biggles.

10-Oct-21
Had finished the adventure last time we were over but ran out of time for the bonus. Made a quick easy fin this time on a nice walk. Thanks for the effort that goes into these adventures and of course placing and maintaining the cache.

After completing the AdLab it only made sense to come and grab this. Didn't realise I would be back so soon after being nearby! A fun little AdLab, so thanks a lot for putting this together - and of course the multi bonus goes nice too. This should push me over the edge for completing the August challenge too.

TFTC hazedarus, the cache was found in good order Very Happy Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 3 find(s) of 3 today, making this find #2838

Stumped for a while by this one then success for KR. What cool paths and quite unusual in their straight formality. Tftc

01-Aug-21
I struggled to find this cache, then went deeper into the bush. Found a cache that I though was this one but no. The Date Lime multi cache is about 10 metres from this one! Whoops.

Ms_KR and I are on the west coast, hopefully to complete the PWGT GeoTour this weekend, with only 2 to go. Another glorious day today, fine weather for most of the caching time. Up to Denniston was definately a highlight, with good views and no wind.

Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

On a PWGT expedition to the South Island with Gorby, RustyNZ, Rebel98 and boneybruce. TFTC!!!

28-Jun-21
We flew down from Auckland to Nelson for another session upon the PWGT caches and other caches that appeal. This is our last trip for the series and will complete it in the 4 days we have allowed ourselves. On this trip there is myself, rustynz, FMZ, Rebel98 and Bony-Bruce (FMZ’s mascot) starting in Nelson and heading north as far as Abel Tasman and then way south of Fox Glacier. 1500km of driving in our trusty rental.

Last day of our adventure, but not this adventure lab. All but one of the WP's was done without rain! The info was easy enough to get, and we made short work of the number crunching in the car. I left it to the others to go and get the cache final, my arthritic knee has done enough for one day. Thanks Hazedarus.

With a group of Westies (rustynz, rebel98, gorby, FMZ and boney bruce) on a caching adventure in the South Island Big Grin

After getting a very late breakfast from New World, and other bits n pieces I spotted an Adventure lab we could do. So here we are gathering the required information in between the driving rain!

Got the final numbers, and we were soon on our way to the bonus. Luckily it stopped raining, and so umbrellas stayed in the car for the short walk to GZ.

Thanks hazedarus for the Lab, it took us to some places that we would have missed if not for your adventure. Fun find!

Fun find with a group of Westies. Thanks for the hide

21-Jun-21
After a week in Blenheim playing indoor bowls 2 muggles and I spent an extra week enjoying some of the sights. They allowed and assisted me find some caches in the areas we visited.
We spent a few hours enjoying the history of this area. Able to grab the caches as they read the information boards. This was a solo venture. After doing the Adventure lab yesterday I arrived close to dark. Had to search a few places before locating Thank you for the placement.

In Westport for a weekend of Bridge. As we weren’t starting until 12 I ventured out, braving the rain showers, to do the AdLab and find a few of the other new hides.
An enjoyable AdLab. We’ve often sit at the miners memorial to eat lunch between Bridge sessions. I really like the memorial. It’s quite unusual.
I was surprised how many people were out walking in the Domain this morning and not just dog walkers. It took me some time to make the find. Thank goodness for phone torches A wonderful invention.

A nice little Ad Lab and bonus cache. On our last trip here 2 years ago we explored this area. I had to check several hint items out before the correct one was found. Thanks for the bonus hazedarus

Omg another (FTF)! I am so wrapped. I loved the adventure. At one stage I got frightened by possum noises. Next I saw glow worms when searching. Then I found the treasure.
I am being taxi Mum for my son and daughter in law for the Heaphy Track and finding a few geocaches. Today was drop off day. Thanks hazedarus for creating this hide. It was find 9570 for me.
