Another day back in Chiltern Mt Pilot trying push my D/T average up slightly. A nice walk to some waterfalls and then a bit of CSI work. Then on to Beechworth to try for some new caches with a borrowed TOTT (and dinner with a group of sewing ladies!).A short walk downhill to this wreck - crossed the track it probably was driven down a long time ago. This took far longer than it should have - circled a few times before spotting the pretty obvious hole. Nearly two years since the previous find here!TFTC Bingley3683
Seemed obvious where it would be but the GOS was out a bit. Looked at the hint, did a lap and there it was. TFTC.
SL at 11.15 in this pretty cold weather. Nice to be outside though.

Back up too Mt Pilot National Park again today to knock over some more of the OCR series.

Well, well, well… found it 20 m from where GPSr said…. However couldn’t miss it one in the right position.
We paused and wondered about how it got to its testing site, after which Mr Riddell proclaimed” nothing that a bit of panel beating couldn’t fix”!
Next thing we see a wallaby very close by grazing without care in the world.
Have already seen a koala before our first cache coming in from Eldorado on the OCR.
TFTC and such bushwalking locations on such a glorious morning…. What’s the rest of the world doing?
Thanks again.

#18022. Well what a day. We went out this morning for just a couple of caches as I have been thinking we might go back into lockdown and I haven't found any caches for ages really. Decided to go and try to find the two DNF's we had last time. Had the extreme good luck to find one that was published two hours later and grabbed a couple more.
Heading towards Eldorado from Old Coach Road so we decided to try our luck here. Parked up on the OCR and made our way down through the pretty green landscape to GZ. We were searching about 18 metres away until I looked at the clue and then we changed tactics. A nice hide here, discovered after a bit of a search. Such a lovely area through here after the rains and Spring growth.
Thanks Bingley3683

Bettyboo needed a few more points for her mountain, so we drove off down Old Coach Road to pick up the two we missed last time. Collected an old puzzle, and a trad on the way back.
A lovely walk thru the green grassed area to the wreck.
GZ is a lot out, but there was only one magnetic object around.
I started on the wrong end, but BB found it.
Thanks, Robmc.

Out for a drive along Old Coach Road before the next lockdown kicks in. We keep forgetting to collect this one, but this morning we remembered it! We took the scenic walk down to the Lancer and soon had the cache in hand. SL at 10.14am Left a couple of PT’s. We are pretty sure we have discovered this abandoned shell whilst on a caching adventure in this area years ago. #8183 TFTC Bingley - now onto collect a few more on the more recent OCR a series.

So much de ja vu here. I vividly remember parking here some time ago, on a rock on Old Coach Rd for caches some time ago, obviously before this one was published.
Parked it the same spot again and made the easy walk down to the old car. Always surprises me why these old car bodies remain in the bush but all other rubbish is taken out. Rarely find anything else out in the bush, just old car bodies. Isn’t chrome some wonderful stuff, seems like it shines forever.
Cache was found, signed, and placed back before trekking down to the falls for an attempt on what might be a lost cache.
TNLN , TFTC , Cheers.

Grabbed this on the way to the seat with a view cache. Love how well the old chrome bumpers hold up, thanks
Over from Tassie, happened to be fishing near by and saw this pop up. Couldn’t resist as is my first ‘first to find’. Cheers for the great detour. Tftgc
Past lefty on his way out as we were heading in! Great little walk and very cool wreck! Found with bones and Mr showcase
Saw this one pop up so rounded the troops up as soon as I finished work to head out. As we were pulling up to a spot to park we saw another car nearby and guessed that our attempts at a first -to-find were gonna be foiled. Had a quick chat to lefty1987 as they were making their way out then made our way to the GZ.
This would have been a cool little Morris back in the day but looking a little worse for wear these days...... would love to know the story of how it ended up where it did. Thanks for a great cache
