Logs
Spotted right away. As previously stated, container is wet and log book soaked. Thanks!
Found with Lou and Ella! Needs some maintenance.. zip lock bag is ripped and book/inside of cache is water damaged
The inside of this cache has water in it, damaging the book and toys. Might need a new Ziploc bag and logbook.
Nice hiding spot but wet inside and paper all wet - can't record details - may need replacing

Found after some searching. Cracked container and the inside was soaking. It needs urgent attention. TFTH.
**Day**Doing a tour in and around Christchurch by bike. Nice and easy going on the flat terrain. Just had the webcam cache as main target and doing a lot of tradies and labs along the way. After a while the idea came to make this my day with the most different cache types found. Unfortunately I could not see an event for today but other than that I found: tradie, multi, mystery, lab, webcam, virtual, letterbox, wherigo and earth. That smashed my previous record of 6 and set the new record to 9, very nice! Thanks to all CO's for a lovely day of caching!**Cache**Haha, love the name & description. No need to enter the community gardens for this one, could sign from outside, tftc!
Partner in Caching found it pretty quickly and got it signed just as quick.... TFTC
Super quick find as I could see it on approach. The gardens look great from what I could see through the fence. Had a few black currents before heading off again. TFTC # 20,708
Down in the Christchurch area with woolwood9. ????Thank you for the reason to visit this cache and location ????SL *tm/ww NZ*
Another day on my trip to Christchurch with tmann421.Bit of a slower day today but still many fun hides found.Signed logs tm/ww NZThanks to cache owners for all their efforts??????
Out for an early morning run so thankfully no muggles around as looked in a few different places before finding the right spot. Lovely garden. Tftc
Cute little gnome outside the garden at Dovedale. Poor Chomsky is looking a little worse for wear unfortunately…. Cache container in good order though. Thanks for bringing us here.
Another month, another challenge. I don't know if I'll manage the full 28 day streak but I'm keen to see how many days I can get out and find caches this month. This is Streak Day 7. Ha ha! For some reason this popped into my brain as I search for this cache - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDJmRQ6LbZA - I did have to refer to a few prior logs before I found the cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Thought he inside the secret locked garden but managed to catch him before I went away, he definitely needs a day at the spa to recover
Found Mr. Chomsky but he's a bit smashed up, missing the base and the top of his hat. If there was a log in or around him, it's gone now, unless it's in the garden which is locked.
Mr. Chomsky isn't looking too good. No log to be found unless it's in the garden.
Found him chilling by the fence. He’s a little worse for wear. Hope someone enjoys the bag of tiny teddies.
Found it after confused about not seeing a tree but then found it. GREAT SPOT!!
Great cache. Was slightly confused as it looked like we had to go into the garden, but there is no need for that.
knotobsessed had found this, but pointed it out to me. I came in not thinking I'd make a find as there was a car with a person inside... but some crafty parking meant I was obscurred from view. Nice
TFTC Spankymoore, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 3 find(s) of 4 today, making this find #3732

What a wonderful Christmas caching treat! Just completed the adventure lab and we were heading home to put cream on the pavalova, when we spotted this highly favourited cache nearby. Had to grab it and a photo. +Fav Merry Christmas
Found it! Great cache! I hope all is going well with you in your new role Spanky! Merry Christmas! TFTC!
Doing the ride around for the AdLab and I got to GZ. Just the wrong side of the fence. However, slim fingers allowed the gnome to rise to new heights and tada, the log was retrieved. Reverse the action to replace and all good. Nice wee garden in there, well looked after. Cheers
Team G0LD: Geocachers 0B80B8, Lis's crew and DaffyNZ are down from Whangarei for a few days. We've all solved the 4 big geoarts so they are the main target for the trip. Of course there were many other puzzles solved as well which filled in the 24th. The 25th was the Smurfs and Fresh Breath. 26th was Rattle and Horses. We certainly made a great dent in my solved puzzle list but I'll still have enough for another trip.
An extra stop on our route for this traditional cache with so many favorite points. With a muggle gardening within we tried to spot him from the outside. I managed to reach in and carefully grab the log out. A bit of balancing was required to replace him as found. A neat title and hide. Thanks for the cache

Team G0LD ( 0B80B8, Lis's crew & DaffyNZ ) on a caching mission to Christchurch. We had travelled down from Whangarei yesterday, so today was our first full day to get into it.
Solved puzzles were going to be the main focus of our trip. We had spent a lot of 2020 and 2021 solving over 400 puzzles, so we had a lot on our list. Thankfully the weather looked like it was going to play ball today, as caching in the rain is always just that bit harder.
There was a muggle in the garden, so we didn't go in. We managed to reach through the fence to retrieve the log that was well guarded. Picked up the TB to take on further travels. TFTC

Was working my way through the nearby Ad Lab when I detoured for this one. It was a quick find once I figured out where to go. Because I hadn’t been planning on doing any ‘regular’ caches I didn’t have a pen on me. However I have a photograph as proof of the find. #5550. TFTC.
Great cache! And awesome spot. Had been meaning to hunt this place out but hadn't gotten around to doing it so thanks for showing me
We saw that there was a geocache on the university of Canterbury site. There was no one about so M sat in the car in the car park while Beeba and I walked to the cache. I saw the cache from outside the fence but there were people inside. We walked in through the open gate and a lady said that they were having a working bee. We explained that we were there to get the geocache and she said that we were welcome. We easily reached the geocache and we signed the log and Beeba left a travel bug that she had had for a while. It was a little bigger than most so we had to find a box big enough to put it in. We admired the community garden and headed back to the car. Really enjoyed this special place and geocache container so I think a favourite point is in order,
Great to find this well maintained community garden where a working bee was underway. Went in and explained ourselves before going to gz. Dropped a TB.
Also logging this in GC9FAVE as a Discovered while geocaching - Locationless Cache. Although every cache could qualify, Gnome Chomsky's location appealed to in my heartbeing on Canterbury University groups (my alma mater), and i love a vege garden.
Lovely to be out with 1066 on international geocaching day, doing our bit. Eleventh for the day.

Kozjah found it fairly quickly. As it was after hours, took a bit of teamwork and creativity to replace it (nothing illegal!). Nice little cache. Find #600!
I definitely selected the hardest way of accessing this by shimmying up and over the wrong side of a fence but logged it with OSC and returned it shimyingly back to safety

What an awesome cache! And a cute little garden I never would have known about. Thanks!
Your geocache was amazing loved the way it was done and I’m about to find more
Very pleased to knock Chomsky off my list. A university worker carrying out some maintenance in the area knew all about the cache, and offered to help but was not required; TFTC
TFTC. A lovely quiet spot on a quiet warm evening. I got quite wet from some sprinklers but didn't mind it today's heat. I popped out this evening to get two caches for Twosday.
Picked a christchurch cache at random to go and find today, and landed on this one. And I'm so glad I did! What an awesome spot this is!
