12-May-24
This skibidi geo was so sigma!! Was confused from hint at first, as every tree was round, but once we started looking down, it was so obvious

12-May-24
Hints from the other finders helped!

03-May-24
Had the day off so decided it was time to avenge this DNF. I headed off to GZ and managed to avoid getting caught in the downpour just before I got to the reserve and headed off to GZ.This time my caching senses, and apparently my GPS were a little better and I had the cache in hand immediately. Log a little damp and muddy, so cleaned and dried it off on my jeans. Tftc #1730

**#19,293**Been a few Norma's over the years, we found the original Norma B cache back in 2010, some 16,746 caches ago!!This one took a while to locate, ended up using PAF but I found it before I got a reply.

After a quick find nearby we headed to this cache with confidence but soon found ourselves walking round in circles scratching our heads. Our main mistake was making an assumption about where it would be hidden and spending too long pursuing that assumption but we eventually came to the conclusion that we must be wrong and started looking elsewhere. After checking a few places we still hadn't had much luck but then all of a sudden Mr Coblet spotted something that raised a bit of suspicion and closer investigation revealed it to be the very clever cache. We signed the log with a sigh of relief. Thanks kiwiscot19 for another well crafted cache.

Finally

18-Nov-22
A crazy wet day to go caching, but we wanted to up our numbers for this calendar date. The rain was bucketing down by now, and the adjacent stream had turned into rapids. We remember doing the previous Norma caches (Norma B, Norma B Becomes C) but that didn't make it any easier to find this one. Much relief when one of us spied where the hide was. A quick sign and move on before we got any wetter! TFTC.

18-Oct-22
Good hint for this one. Tftc

18-Oct-22
Good clue, easily found.

16-Oct-22
Good hint!

11-Oct-22
This was our first attempt at this, we were not able to find the geocache. The accuracy of cellphone GPS not the best in the forest, so was hard to narrow down the search area. We gave up after 20min. Any hints, tips would be welcome! There was another one 400m down the track, also did not find.

24-Sep-22
Cheeky camo

23-Jul-22

Good camouflage!

04-Mar-22
With daylight fading extremely fast, I made sure to make this a quick one. Enjoyed a lovely walk/run down this coastal track passing some of the many geocaches I've found in this domain. This happens to be the last cache left to find for me in this domain, and I've enjoyed all of them. Arrived at GZ and spotted the item the hint was referring to and signed log and replaced as found. Cache well and in good condition. TFTC kiwiscot19!

21-Jan-22
When I reached gz I started looking in the wrong direction and looked further and further in one direction before realising I had been stood right by at the start. TFTC

13-Jan-22
Onto the other side of the walk from where I came from the bridge now. Soon had a likely area narrowed down and spotted when walking backwards and forwards. All good here thanks ks19.

For the third day in a row I'm out locally trying to knock off clusters of unfound caches before I head south in a few weeks for a change of job. I targetted the area near Beach Haven, along the Oruamo area which despite now having a kayak to attempt the T5 caches there, seems time will preclude any real attempt (though I remain ever hopeful). The caches were mostly hides from kiwiscot19, and really inventive with camo and delivery, and a couple of other caches, thanks to all COs for your caches today.

01-Jan-22
Kids had a good hunt. Very clever cache

15-Nov-21
Hidden in plain sight, TFTC

19-Oct-21
Maybe an attempt for another day, I thought I had an idea after Googling, I thought I had an idea after reading the logs, I thought I had an idea after reading the hint, but clearly I have not cached in too long. A DNF for today.

19-Oct-21

27-Jun-21
Raised eye BROW too a while to find….. hint

26-Jun-21
Despite the excellent cameo this cache didnt take us too long to find. Although could of been a very different story if we had left it any later.

26-Jun-21
Geohounds are useful sometimes. Had bent down to clean up after him and spotted the cache. Unfortunately another big dog came bounding along, straight from the stream and shook itself right next to me. I don't know what was the wettest, the log or me.

06-Jun-21

22-Feb-21
Found the new version! Thank you, lovely camo <3

21-Feb-21
This is the only recent cache along here that I haven't found yet so popped back this afternoon for a look. While I will admit that I had to phone Jill, who had only just found it the other day, but while she was faffing around trying to find the correct cache page, I just happened to spot this nicely camo'd cache all by myself, so didn't need the PAF in the end. Nicely done, cheers

19-Feb-21
Nufrat and I headed over to this area after lunch to make a couple of finds. This one resisted being found until we looked in a place with a lot of natural growth hiding the cache. TFTC.

19-Feb-21
out with agazo today, this one didn't want to be found but we soon had it from its hiding place, tftc

14-Feb-21
Mossie central! Nice hide, took me a few walk bys to spot it.

14-Feb-21
Out and about with the elder Future Finder for a walk in the bush and a spot of cache detection. We parked up on Laurderdale Road and entered the trail network. This one wasn't placed on our recent walk past here, but, we decided to make it our first stop. It took a bit for the GPSr to settle down under the tree cover. However, this wasn't an issue as we had to wait for passing muggles anyway. Found after a short search. Like skead99 mentioned this was mozzie central and they were particularly attracted to the FF. Cheers for the cache placement!

05-Feb-21
Had a yummy and pleasant lunch with Jag and merlot58 in a lovely spot on the shores of Lake Pupuke.
Could have relaxed there all day!
Decided we had better do these caches in Eskdale so we wouldn't get stuck in slow traffic when heading home out West.
I am ashamed to admit I was worse than useless in the hunt here!
Of course once seen, we didn't know how we had missed it.
Blends in pretty well.
Many thanks for the new caches along here kiwiscot19.

04-Feb-21
After lunch with Merlot58 and Supernannny we headed out for a shady bushwalk on a hot and sunny Summers day. Merlot had already found this cache and watched on as MrsJAG and S/N looked for it. Under pressure from being watched by the beady eyes of Merlot, we could not immediately spot the cache. The mozzies arrived and started attacking Merlot, so Merlot kindly narrowed down our search area as by this stage the vampire mozzies had really taken a liking to her. Only then did we spy the well camoed cache in an area that we thought we had previously searched.

I was just about to head out the door to go over the other side of the bridge when this cache was published. As I’m house sitting in Takapuna it was only 10 minutes away so I made a quick detour. There weren’t too many people on the track this morning and I found the cache on my 2nd pass for {FTF} at 9.16am. I’m certain I found the previous version of this as I had a fair idea of what I needed to look for.

Well done Merlot for the FTF. Saw this pop up but was in the office on the other side of town so settled in knowing no chance for the FTF. Alun and I had spied this area of interest as a potential hide a couple of weeks back grabbing the other nearby caches so searched in vain for a potential ftf prior to publication, turns out our calculations were bang on but the cache hadn't been placed so no chance! Great night that one ah Al? Anyhow o the cache I think the D to T rating is spot on but this is one cache that could pose problems, you either get it first time or take ages, unfortunately we were the later, that is wifey and me! The mossies had a field day so maybe Groundspeak could add a new rating such as F for frustration? D/T/F yup we signed in as HAM for 2nd in tribute to the mossies that had us fora lunch Ham sandwich...or is that dinner?

Thanks KS19 for another cool cache
