Swung by this site on the way out of town. I'm fairly certain it was here, but I just couldn't find it. Will be back to try and get a better result. The rubbish, deep piles of cut grass, and overgrown bushes weren't helping much XD
What a cute bridge, sadly hidden by long unkempt grass. Wandered about before finally spotting the well camoed cache. [TFTC]
Another masterful container here, and close to one of two interesting bridges officially dis-used but perfect for the train spotters. I love it! TFTC
I had to go back a few times with a bunch of friends to search for it. But I found it after about two tries, it was well camouflaged and hidden nicely. Tftg
Hunted as best I could, unfortunately GL is just absolutely covered in trash so left this one empty handed.
We are on a trip in New Zealand. A wonderful country with a lot of (old )caches. There are too many caches so we limit ourselves to the (old) gems or where we happen to make a stop. We found and signed this cache in good condition. Mice heide, favoflossy63, thank you for this cache, regards xizat-NL. Take care, this hobby can develop to an addiction.
Found w mrpretty!crack up little tour around the bush haha amazingest camouflage I've come across at to datetftc

Soon has this one sorted while on our way into Waiuku to finish off an Ad Lab we started the last time we were here, alos had a couple or 3 DNF's to rectify.

Love the camouflage and the historical location. Well worth doing a turn around to come back for.
There are dumped newspapers all around the site close to the cache. Normally id think to stop and pick up the rubbish but was starting to feel a bit pressured to be hurrying home.

We had failed to find this cache in August last year so returned today to have another look. Arriving at GZ we checked the same spot that we had favoured last time, but today it was holding a cache container. Great to wipe out that blue face and replace it with a smiley. Thanks.
After a dnf some time last year we had a look again after the new placement and found it reasonably quickly

After a nice breakfast in Pukekohe we headed to Waiuku today on a mission to avenge some DNFs and find as many unfound caches as possible.
This was the first we searched for and it turned out to be a bit more of a challenge than we anticipated.
We parked in the side street near GZ but walked back to the main road and around from the other side to avoid the long wet grass.
The very nicely camouflaged cache was located reasonably quickly (awesome container) however the plastic bag containing the log was so far down at the bottom of the container that it was wedged and very difficult to reach.
After a vigorous shake failed and after realising our tweezers were too short to reach it we made multiple attempts using various sticks and twigs but these all proved to be unsuccessful.
Not wanting to admit defeat we decided to take the cache on a field trip back to the car where we had much more reliable tools available and to our relief these soon enabled us to extract the pesky log.
It was then quickly signed with a sigh of relief before returning the cache to its hiding spot and continuing on with our mission.
Thanks flossy63 for a nice cache, and an unexpected challenge.

After spending the day in Awhitu Regional park checking out the condition of our caches, we headed back down to Waiuku for a spot of caching and to grab some dinner as we had a carer for junior cacher for the day......

I have moved it, along a bit too many did not finds,
yet when I checked today it was still there. in fact it had not moved for so long roots had hold of it sitting among the ground leafage, my camo is not that good, Lol!,
Log was wet so have replaced it, new log ready to go,
Keep an eye on kids, and do not go down to tracks,

This will be rechecked again next week, due to all our bad weather/floods, and approaching Cyclone, this cache maybe displaced with heavy water flows,
This cache is temporary inaccessible due to works of new water mains being put in right next to cache, last time I checked a few weeks ago it was there, has good camo
Hi flossy63
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards

LEONOOB- accidental claim, pretty sure it's gone or inaccessible at the moment
I went to check this this afternoon, But could not access due to diggers etc. putting new pipes in nearby, foot path blocked off, I was on the mobility scooter as it needed a good run, so could not leave it up the road unattended, as had petrol can on it for lawn mower, as was multitasking on my outing,
We could not find it, it’s either taken or we didn’t look hard enough, well give it another go today!
No luck for us either. Coords had us in the middle of the bridge, but we searched the most logical spot without success.
Dnf for us today, definitely got to know the space well have up after 30 min will try again some day
Our second time looking but bit more experience now so got it super quick. Thanks .
Great find, pickup up a small bag of rubbish before finding it. Very clever cache design!
We didn’t go barking up the wrong tree here and the cache was soon in hand. Cool camo. TFTC
Took my elderly muggle mum to the Waiuku Zero Waste just around the corner. Saw this was on my way home again and after a quick apology to mum, jumped out of the car & I was off. My phone was playing up big time & sent me to the wrong side of the bridge but I found it in not too much time. Loved the camo TFTC
NZ MEGA 2020 (in 2022) road trip - Day 7
** Cache found more easily by adding 008 to the East co-ord **
Having had a fantastic day on Browns Island on Sunday, another member of Team Done by 1 (RustyNZ) and I arranged to go looking for the Crayola 64 series. Having completed it by mid-afternoon, we decided that neither of us fancied battling peak hour traffic so would do some more caching around this area.
Having parked up nearby, we crossed the road to get to GZ. What followed was about 15-20 minutes of random searching as the posted co-ords implied so many possible hiding locations, all within 10m, on multiple levels. We even scrambled down to the tracks to search the potential locations down there.
R eventually stumbled upon the cache in a location I had only given a cursory look to. Such is the nice camo work, I had missed it. So the cache was soon sporting our names in the log and then we were back off on what would end up being a really long, but worthwhile day. I had my best single day ever with over 100 finds
Thanks for placing this cache. I wouldn't relocate the cache, but you might consider updating the co-ordinates. FP given for the good camo.

With TwigNZ now in Waiuku looking for a couple of caches
Well no trains today, and we made this far harder than we needed too, yep we went below, but I did get a cool picture, so was happy with my efforts. Although my phone did fall out of my pocket and TwigNZ asked did I want it back LOL
At least I did not have to scramble back down to retrieve it.
Very clever camo here, I spotted it, thought to myself that is a little unusual, and it was the cache.
Thanks flossy63 for this clever hide, and for bringing us here

My GPS wanted me 15m away from where I found the cache, in the logical spot. It is nice to see these old bridges still sort of in use.
Time for another trip to the North Island for Ms_KR and me. Wellington and beyond here we come. Today we toured around Waiuku area and found some new spots to us. It is a hot summer so far!
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

Out for the evening with Kittycat432 trying to get some of this series before sunset. Parked up and told Kittycat432 clue, while I'll was busy with loading C-Geo on the phone, and sorting things out. She had it in hand and signed in a few seconds. Managed to sign damp log. TNLN TFTC
Covid-19 level 4 Lock down, caching is NOT permitted In Level 3 or 4, "Stay at Home"
Had a great afternoon collecting caches around Waiuku. We just had time for one more cache so decided to try our luck with this one. Parked up not too far away and made our way over to the correct side of the bridge. Made a nice quick find of this nicely cameoed cache. No trains about today but hope to come back to take a ride on the railway sometime. Reminds us of something similar from back home.
It was an excellent day for a drive, so I decided to come to Pukekohe, Glenbrook and Waiuku for caches. I have an event organised for tonight so can't cache past 3:30pm.
I used to be a train spotter many years ago, I remember Diana and the AB663, the AB has a gorgeous brass casing thing on top, and it used to shine like the sun. This bridge here is old and lovely too. I really enjoy going back in time. Cache hide no problem, blends in very well.

Find number 7421. Up to visit my daughter and to do some caching. A stop on my way into town. Just followed my senses and got lucky with a quick find. GPS wanted me somewhere else. No trains today. Thank you for the placement.
First find of the day in Waiuku. GZ on GPS was off 15m or so on my device but used geosense and the hint to locate this hide. This viaduct has 100`th birthday this year!

A plan was hatched with Supernanny, Jag50 and Nette1234 to return to Waiuku to get the newish caches here. This was our first stop and Mrs Jag made a quick find of the nicely camo'd container.
First day back at COVID Level2 lockdown so a plan was made for a ladies caching day with Merlot58, Supernannny and Nette1234 to visit Waiuku. This was on our way into Waiuku so we made a quick stop here to check out the old bridge and of course to find this cleverly camo'd cache.
I was worried I would spent too long looking for the cache and get soaked again by the rain. Even though it had good camo, I found the cache quickly and made it back to the car with too much trouble. TFTC.
Out on a geocaching trip. My first find on the trip. Not many trains today. Thanks for hiding flossy63
Had great fun with this one thankyou C.O. my phones GPS made this one so so much more difficult then it needed to be but found after a 15 minute search
