I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.

Hi Kwaussies

This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit and after my previous reviewer note, there has been no owner response. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).

I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.

Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.

Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.

#12,771. Park, walk and grab on Donald Street in Karori, Wellington. It took a bit of searching for this one. First off, we had the old coordinates in the GPS. After realising that they had been updated, we homed in on to the new location. Fortunately, GZ was all quiet at the time of the visit. Missed it on the first pass. There were a couple of spots that might fit with the additional hints. It was helpful to re-read the geocache description to identify which spot was more likely. Redoubled the effort and then managed to uncover the hide and made the very awkward retrieval. The cache itself was in good condition, but the log was quite soaked inside. We put in a fresh piece of waterproof paper log sheet. Took nothing, left nothing else, signed log.

Thanks for the placement, and for bringing us to these sites, and …

Found with 15yo. A reasonably quick find, no muggles to avoid. Sadly the lognis too full and too wet to sign.

23-Oct-21
Log too wet and full. It needs replacing

First geocache done, paper soggy inside

Quick find but log very wet. TFTC.

We were the only foolhardy idiots outside on this dreadful day, so no problems with muggles. A quick find and retrieve. TFTC Kwaussies!

This was my first attempt to geocach so maybe all my fault - but I think it might be gone? Could only find some adhesive material where I would think it was, could that be the case?

Found!

Thanks for the cache with sherlock the puppy

Out and about with Demainiac today. This one was a bit of a challenge but got it in the end. So the log book has been signed and the cache is nicely back in its spot all ready for the next geo-hunter. Thanks heaps for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC

11-Jun-21
Much easier than earlier visits thanks to updated, now accurate coordinates and a helpful hint.

Was a little awkward owing to passing muggles and a little difficulty grabbing the cache which I can't explain without spoilers. A worker was washing down the fence at a neighbour's place opposite but fortunately he was concentrating on what he was doing and didn't appear to notice me.

TFTC.

11-Jun-21
After failing at this one previously (due to only concentrating on the largest item), I was determined to finally get a smiley for this one. I was in town on an errand but took a long detour to come this way. As I approached GZ I spotted a familiar face (robhnz) but he was already on the move so didn't stop. I looked again in the familiar spot, still without success, but then I spied something else and in a short while (mere minutes since the previous find), had the cache in hand. Signed and replaced. All good here, and TFTC

Seems my stealth needs work!

Sorry I missed you Bruzie. I was heading for a bus but would have had time to say hi as I was much earlier than expected owing to having avenged a DNF up the hill quickly when I had allowed plenty of time for it.

10-Jun-21
Managed to disturb the local weta looking in the wrong place first - eventually got on the right track and no muggles about under the cover of darkness - thanks for the cache!

09-Jun-21
A quick find tonight, all quiet in the dark and cache was safe and dry. TFTC.

Not quite sure I get the name of this cache. Was very easy to retrieve and Ezratar had it in seconds.. Thanks for the cache.

(# 6669). In the area to grab a few caches this afternoon. Somebody was working on his garden across the road but fortunately there was a huge trailer parked up right between him and the cache. A quick find. Everything in order. Thanks for bringing me here.

Out for walk with little grandson and he made the find here with a little guidance from me the hint and the GPS. Thank you for these new caches here . and will complete the others in a day or two .

No problems here this afternoon. Spotted it in the first place I looked. TFTC

30-Apr-21
By good luck rather than good planning, I had an easy time of it here this evening. Only one car passed but I wasn't at the site long as I found what I was after immediately. The container and logsheet are both in excellent condition. So, a not at all awkward caching experience for me.

28-Apr-21
Nice and easy find

16-Apr-21
Found it very fast went pretty late so had to stay quite as its in a residential area.

10-Apr-21
After some nonchalant lurking while pedestrians passed and cars appeared from side streets, the coast was finally clear to have a quick search. Two likely hiding places, found in the second searched. All good in the cache, tftc!

05-Apr-21
Easy to find. Quiet location today in the holidays

03-Apr-21
Found the spot indicated by the hint, but no cache. There's evidence of the fence being painted recently (given the amount of rain we've had recently, maybe this morning), so presume the container was picked up and thrown away.

#1448. Had time to look for this after watching grandson’s cricket match. All quiet at GZ so not really an awkward retrieval. Easy find. Tftc kwaussies.

13 March 2021 15:47. Number 9292. Came out here when it was first published, and spent far too long looking in the wrong place! Good to have updated coordinates, thank you. Today I was filling in time while the lad was mountain biking, so after exhausting the possibilities of the opshops in the area I decided to head over here. Fortunately it was quiet, and I was able to park right by GZ. TFTC.

13-Mar-21
Rocked up and was looking for the cache when I heard an unexpected sound very close by. There was a man crouched down behind the white picket fence painting! I said hello and scurried off. I’ll be back when there isn’t a muggle less than 1m from GZ!

Came for a short walk from home to here this morning. A very quick find using GSEL's coordinates, they're dead accurate. The current published coordinates are 36 metres out, could I suggest to the CO that these be updated to GSEL's ones? Not an awkward retrieval at all once you're in the right place! Signed log, TFTC.

28-Feb-21
Thanks GSEL for the new coordinates. Found the. Tftc

28-Feb-21
Thanks GDEL for the new coordinates. Easy find once we read your post. Signed log and replaced where found. TFTC.

#9123. 3TF. S41 17.209 E174 44.612

I was over in Karori this afternoon so stopped by here to see if I could find this new cache. I parked down the road from the published coordinates and decided to check a place that matched the hint where I was parked. Pleased to say it was an instant find. Nice when it happens. Signed the logbook and replaced everything as found. Took some new coordinates and have posted them above. Thanks Kwaussies for the cache.

19-Feb-21
The coordinates do not appear to have been updated?

18-Feb-21
Not our day for this one but will return another day for another look.

I was awake, so decided to give this a go. At 4 in the morning. Stars are bright, but no moon. At GZ I find neither hint object, so I wonder if the coordinates are correct. There is a box, but it is not green, and I would not call that grass. It did look like a good place to hide a cache, except that the hunt would take forever. As thte earlier DNF said, I hope the locals know about this one as the I think it is likely to be less an awkward retrieval, more an awkward hunt. If the coords are correct, then the difficulty is wildly wrong! Anyway, I gave up after half an hour and picked an easier target. Then went back to bed.

Coordinates to be checked and Cache to be Checked

{FTF} Not sure if i can log while disabled but will see if it works! I have sent message to CO confirming it is here. I was one of the 4 with Infoferret and JustLooking00 searching for the FTF last night. Came back today in daylight and found it. About 2m from where we were Smile we took the hint to literally Smile Have sent my best (phone under powerlines) guess of co-ordinates to CO. Just do a wide search from those posted. Yah super excited my first FTF Smile

13-Feb-21
{2TF} Back now in the daylight ... well doesn't that make all the difference, although co-ords were way off. Maybe its because of the all powerlines running the length of street. My phone doesn't do well around any sort of electric powerline. TFTC

Is this in place? 4 of us searched a location which fitted the description and hint for about 10 mins before I decided we had probably disturbed the neighbors enough and left. Not a totally wasted trip though, the Lad got some driving practice in!

If it's where I think it's meant to be I hope the neighbours / house owner knows about it. Mind you I'm useless at night caching, so it would probably wave at me in daylight.....
