A trip to Brisbane for work gave me a bit of time for caching as well. Always great to visit Brisbane and to explore the area using caching as a guide. Found this cache on 27 October 2024 at9:56AM Thank you Team Maud for placing and maintaining this cache for everyone to find. Tftc
My gf Kristina found this one ! Wee little micro cache but findable with the right fingers
Nice to spend some time in the shade looking for this. although it did take us longer than it should have. Nice little hide. So glad the muggles were all at work. TFTC
With a couple of hours to kill before boarding the Diamond Princess for our cruise to Melbourne via Sydney we thought we'd drop our bags at our hotel reception and walk a few ks and grab a few caches. This took some searching and it wasn't until I got down on hands and knees that the prize was spotted. Nice camo hide TFTC
I woke up this morning to see some new cache on my map that still needed to be found. Since I had no plans for the day, I headed out in the geo-car for a few by myself.I hit this one after doing the 3 new ones published this morning.I found your cache, Help - pirates stole my metric system! today. This is my 3314 find. After arriving I did a quick calculation and soon had the cache in hand.Team Maud, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Out today visiting some finds in this area. Took a while but then it came to hand. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Team Maud. All good with this cache.
Found the cache with TBUBIKESU and muggle brother Siggi. Thanks for the challenge Team Maud
We went out today on a warm winter day of around 28 degrees to go for some walks and find some caches. We stopped at random caches in this area. We needed to make a PAF, as we couldn't figure out what the description meant. We found then this cache and signed the log.Tftc Team Maud
Not the best time of day to be looking here. Too many muggles. Maybe another time.
Enjoying another adventure out caching with geo friends and picking up a few selective caches here and there on a beautiful autumn day.Thank you, Team Maud, for this sneaky little cache that was a great hide that blends in so well
Early start to the day, CITO, caching and an Event. Today was spent with RoddyC, Hatzofff and Snickersallen. We searched and searched and tried to apply the hint but didn't really understand it. We were all basically searching the one area. I eventually made a PAF and we were all right but cache blind. I eventually put my hand on the tiny wee demon. Log signed and cache replaced as found. TFTC
Caching between the CITO and the event on the Northside. Hint was a bit off putting.Caching with RoddyC Snickersallan and Imbunda.TFTCache Team Maud
Out northside after one event and before another.Uncertified sneakiness.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 3:3 PM on April 30, 2024. TFTC, Team Maud.
I had previously been to visit this cache, but there were too many muggles about to attempt the find. Today, I was in the general area and decided to stop by for a look. Being a weekend, there were no muggles about today, so I had time to search. My first idea proved fruitless, but the second one came up trumps. Log signed, cache returned to its spot and I was on my way again. TFTC
Could not find - looked everywhere. stepped out 29.23 feet but we were befuddled
3rd one of the run thought Id let brienne find this one after easily finding the previous 2 TFTC
Was down this way to get some car parts, called around to have a look, but muggles all around so sadly made my way out of area, before any PIRATES got me, Will come another day to grab this cache
Found it! Officially logging it here that WingaleWallowV2 found the thingamabob. Thanks so much for the fun search!!!1!1
17/6/2023 Find #6164
After turning up to find Fangsoki sound asleep, I decided to take myself this afternoon for a couple of nearby caches.
I pulled the car up and wandered over thinking I’d no doubt get this one fairly easily. Apparently I was a little too cocky about that, because I wandered back and forth a couple of times and was having no success. I headed back to the car thinking it just wasn’t going to happen today, but then decided to give it just one more shot. And I was glad I did, because I found the sneaky little blighter! I was certainly grateful for it being a quiet, muggle-free Sat arvo here today.
Thanks for the cache Team Maud.

Visiting Brisbane for work and staying close to this cache. Went for a walk early this morning and after being mindful of the hint looked in a few places before finding the hide.
Thanks Team Maud for placing and maintaining this cache.

Had an a few hours on the northside after an appointment. Picked up 4 challenges I'd qualified for and stopped for this one before heading home.
I qualified for, and logged the 3 AUSmer challenges that were available back in 2019.
Now there is a new Ausmer challenge and I was very surprised that I had only one month missing for the nearly four years since then and this one filled that spot.
There was no one around which made things easier and I made a quick find here. Cache dry and tickety boo here.

I arrived at knock-off time for most of the businesses in the area so it was easy to get a parking spot.
A walk back and forward a few times until I found the right spot for the cache.

Team Maud I found your cache Help - pirates stole my metric system! on 7/5/2023, 11:20 am. This is my find 5242 and find # 6 today. A quick and easy drive by with the help of the hint. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Finally after the 4th attempt, we have successfully found that sneaky little fella! TFTC
Love that geocaching takes me to places I did not know existed. Quiet Sunday afternoon meant I could low-cate this cache without too much hassle. TFTC
After a few searches by the grand kids, we finally located and posted this one. TFTC
When we pulled up I thought I knew what this hide would be. A few minutes of searching and I was starting to doubt myself, a few more minutes and I was ready to give up. It was really hot and the sun is not something us Melbourians have seen in a very long time but just as I was about to jump into the air conditioned car we finally spotted it. Should always go with your first instinct. TFTC
In town for a short visit, managed to get in some geo today. I thought it was meant to be rain and stormy, but no, bright clear sunshine and me without a hat.
This one didn't take too long, looking in the right direction at the right angle and spied the little fella. Signed and returned as found. Thanks for the cache and the information Team Maud. Find #7445 at 7.44am

I was in the area today with a few minutes up my sleeve and decided to grab a few caches. Always a good idea to grab caches in these industrial estates on the weekend when it is very quiet.
Sneaky little micro took me longer to find than I care to admit. TFTC Team Maud

This cache wasn’t really on the cards today… but a need to turn around, and a small 5km detour meant I could revisit this DNF… the fact that I had a previous finder hostage in the car also had a part to play…
Obviously a very different outcome to our last visit… I may have sworn…
Tftc…

We’ve been out of caching practice, since becoming new parents to our little hoglet , so were worried we’d struggle to find it with the recent DNFs, but the itty-bitty cache was exactly where we expected it to be.
Blkthunder and I had to do some shopping Over this side of town, so took the opportunity of a quiet Sunday afternoon to have a look for this cache…
Without success, I reached out to a previous finder, who sort of remembered the hide, but even with that additional intel we still couldn’t locate the container…

Looked all over the fence and used a tape measurer but still could not find it
My wife and I were making our way to Nundah for an appointment and picking up a few caches on the way. We seemed to take a lot of time here because we weren’t viewing from the correct angle.
We read the hint and did a bit of Googling to convert imperial to metric. The only imperial I want to meet is one that’s working on the Death Star and even then I don’t want to meet them.
Mrs Woodyrothwell paced out the measurement like her steps aligned with the oscillation of a sine wave. Her science was busted because it put us nowhere near where the cache was finally spotted. It was awesome to sign the new log as we didn’t have to wind and unwind inches of log, whatever that is in metric. tftc

This afternoon, I took the opportunity of heading to Sandgate and Bracken Ridge, with the intention of defeating some monsters and clearing a few recent challenge caches that had accumulated in the area. It was a mix of driveby geocaches and a few walks along the bikeways, whilst avoiding the mosquitoes that were awakening as the light faded.
Oh that's a pretty interesting building! Following my education in SI units, it was interesting to then be working in oil/gas, and routinely using imperial units, since drilling is very Americanised. Depths in feet, tubing/casing in inches, and fluid rates in gallons per minute. I can confidently say that I can think in both ways for various measurements.
Today, I made the mistake of visiting today at knock-off time at around 16:30 hr, so there were a few employees walking to their car whilst I was hovering out the front. I tried a few search strategies, and then when those didn't seem to be working, I made a PAF to a former finder. One of my ideas was the right one, but evidently I didn't search hard enough. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Team Maud for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

It took us a while to figure it out. its in plain sight you just got to use your brain. It's a quirky find .
We visited and tried our best but came up empty handed. Dam and suc a cool cache too.
Will try again another day

Took us a while to find cache. In the end we used a tap measure. Bingo signed log. Very quiet here on a Sunday
Found, was looking in wrong spot at first but dingbat8 figured it out & discovered it.
Secon go at this one and scored a smiley this time. Used a tape measure to make sure it was back about where it's supposed to be:-)
What a surprise to find this building tucked away in the back streets here. Now I understand why this cache was placed here. A quick calculation and the cache was spotted almost exactly where we expected. TFTC Team Maud
Found by Sunshine Toledo and Her Majesty, Awesome Owen and Screaming Phoenix 105. The cache was found quite quickly. TFTC
2 weeks back, this 1 eluded me...(it was a busy work day) 2day, a desetred Sunday, an almost instant find...& T4TC & the associated story (Im old enough 2 recall the changeover from imperial 2 metric in Australia!)
Picked up this cache on the return ride from Redcliffe. This institution is very improtant in more way that most people actually understand.

Had to give up on this one today, there's just too many choices. Was wishing I had a mirror on a stick for checking low places.
Out today to continue on my personal challenge and as I finished work early I decided to head over to Boondall way to collect a couple over there. Saw this one on the way so I took a short detour to collect.
I arrived at GZ and began a search; I started where the gps put me and did not find the cache, then I read the hint and started to work from that. Hmmm put me back to where the gps put me. Ok I need to search a little harder, oh really, if only I looked harder first, lol.
A nice easy hide if you do not over think it. With my name in the log and the cache replaced as found I continued on with my plan. Thanks for placing this one here, a nice hide.

Family day out as Team B.
Tried for the FTF on the morning after without success. A lot easier to find this time. Can't believe we missed it last time.

T-Tech wanted to have lunch at Sandgate so we took the route that would pass a few geocaches that I wanted to collect.
Glad to find the area vacant today as there'd be a lot of eyes watching on a work day! Definitely used hands and not eyes for this one. TFTC, Team Maud.
