Stayed at BIG4 Bellarine Holiday Park for 11 days with the Australian Deaf Caravan & Camping Group. A few of us cachers went out geocaching, and here's one we found today. Logged as Deaf Caravan Group (crank1, silence49, Lance51, Deafcat, Deafsanta, DeafVW, Codawives, and dutchaus). Thank you for placing the cache magpies22
A long planned trip away finally came to fruition as we headed off to Geelong after a gap of some years to catch up with caching friends. There is always a good variety of caches and hides to search for and Geelong itself is a pretty spot with lots of places to explore. Plenty of history and lovely scenery with the bay, riverside, open paddocks and bushland. We particularly enjoyed the many trails and riverside paths where Mrs SKI could give her new ebike a workoutA great time was had with lots of laughs and ribbing as we searched for the various caches and wondered what we might find next. We also had the chance to catch up with some great local cachers on a lovely evening out.Logs signed as SKI Pair, SP or RASP.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache magpies22.**SKI Pair****

What a fantastic day of geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula! The weather was perfect, and the landscapes were stunning. Our group ventured through a mix of urban areas, lush parks, and coastal paths in search of hidden caches. The camaraderie among our caching crew made the day even more enjoyable, with plenty of laughs and shared triumphs as we uncovered each cache. As the sun began to set, we gathered to celebrate our successes and swap stories from the day's adventures.Geocaching around Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula was truly a memorable experience, and we can't wait to return for more caching adventures in the future! This is one of the caches found today. this took a couple of minutes before it was finally spotted. Thanks magpies22 for the cache.
Omegaman1971Support Your Local VillainLive - Laugh - Lurk First To Find: 150Sidetracked Cache Finds: 118In Geelong for a few days with caching friends, spreading smiles on the map. The weather was perfect, lots of laughs during the hunt. Successfully found this cache cheers for the hide!
Found by Mary and David at 14:15. After a CITO this morning and with another this afternoon, we were filling in time with a few Ad Lab stages, and saw this appear on the TomTom so, of course, we had to stop. A lovely bush setting for a Memorial Park. Our thanks to magpies22.
Hopefully not my last cache as the description suggests. Found this one with a quick search. Happy to say that cache and log are both in good condition. TFTC
How did this take me that long??? After signing the log off I go to the

Thanks for the cache.
Nice little find on our way to Queenscliff and it came at the perfect time as we were starting to feel a bit lethargic. TFTC
Jinky and John decided to wander east and have a coffee and pastry at Ket Baker's bakery. Having done that, what should be next? Caching!! So, yet another marble orchard on the way. Not just yet eh? This must be the easiest such cache I have done, not that I did anything exceptional, Not so much facepalm as facecache! TFTC.
A heavy shower of rain was waited out in the car before I got out and logged the cache.

A day out with daughter suehut, caching of course, and I had failed on this one ages ago. Sustaining ourselves with a roadside cuppa, and she wandered about 3 metres away from the car and squealed. Of course I then tried to find it and was making a hash of it till she steered me quite close. A nice hide and I can see why a gloomy day previously had made it difficult to locate this one. This road could take about 2 or 3 more caches easily. Thanks for putting this one out, and maintaining it.
After not finding Sam’s Cache 1 10 minutes ago, we stopped here for a fortifying cup of tea then found this one in about 10 seconds!!! Woo hoo. Today is Deshut’s geocaching birthday day
Did a quick check on this one today & found that it had suffered a small amount of cache creep, so replaced as intended, log checked & all good to go.
A very nice quick park and grab. Our first for the day. We are off to Queenscliff to see what we can do there today with such beautiful weather. Love it!

We 'may' have been plotting a new hide today, so it was suitable to stop here on the way back. Interesting to see the new development for permanent homes taking shape.
A quick park'n'grab, and on we went. Thanks for inviting us to stop here!

Found today on my way home from the swimming pool, hoping no one drives past to see me in my knee length camo hoodie is beautiful here today, so many birds singing. Many thanks for the cache
We attempted this cache hide on our last visit down to the Bellarine Peninsula without any luck as there was a person riding an ATV near GZ. We even came back later but it appeared he had overturned it and there were people milling around the crash area. Today the coast was clear and we were able to make the find after a short search.
Thanks magpies22 for the cache placement.

A sunny day on The Bellarine, free to be out and about without any penalty of distance. Time to dust off the cobwebs and track down a few green icons showing up on our map. There seems to be quite a few vacancies in the park, we can put our choice of plot on hold.
Our thanks to magpies22 for the tour of Marcus Hill.

I really am surprised they'd make this area for burial trust, given all the people wanting to move down to Geelong.
Managed to spot this one after a brief search, thanks for the hunt.

No chance of searching for this one today as there was a worker on a ATV very close to GZ.
We will be back.
We will be back.
The kids helped find this one once they were lifted up to the right height. Some lovely morning sunshine on a long weekend! TFTC
Suscoe came back today to find "Careful What You Wish For"
Our last trip here was just after the tree cutting incident which took this cache out of existence.
So on a cold and Wintry Autumn afternoon we headed out here and Mrs S made a very quick find.
Thanks to magpies22 for this hide. We will be interested to see across the road develop further in the coming years.
All good at GZ today.

Out and about running a few errands, we were driving along the street and decided to stop and try our luck. We want to go out on a limb and suggest that this is not the limb to do this on. Situated in a lovely quiet dirt road, this will make a peaceful final resting place at some time in the future. We found the cache and can see the havoc wrought to the previous resting place for this cache. We are happy to say that this cache is alive and well and in tip-top fighting condition. Thank you for this cache magpies22.

Enabling Geocache again, now that brand new container & log have been replaced in very close proximity to old one. Let's see what happens this time!
This cache has met with foul play by a muggle. A small tree which contained this cache was cut down in a protected vegetation area & no others around were touched. Very suspicious. Will replace & relocate when I purchase a new one. Will be back in a few weeks
This took a bit of time to locate as it blended in very well. Interesting facts you provided.
Thanks for this one magpies22

A short detour from the highway to make a quick find along this dirt road TFTC magpie22
After a couple of people having trouble with GPS, I used app to take me to GZ today & it read 0 metres right on the exact location, so all is good. There must have been a bad satellite day earlier.
On the way back from somewhere today I stopped off for this one at a place of the future. Never good at these due to my eyesight, it took me at least 10 minutes of searching all over the place before I set eyes on it. At GZ my GPS was saying 6 metres, which is acceptable. The hint is accurate but then, where else would you put it? TFTC magpies22
A quick stop on the way home from a weekend down at the beach. Thanks for the cache magpies22.
I have been waiting for the new Natural Wonders of the World to be released so yesterday I decided to head off to Leopold and Drysdale to start gathering as many as I could.
Started off well with three out of seven at the first three and then fell in a hole as the next three were all the same as ones I had already gained but on my last find I was lucky to get my fourth “Natural Wonder”.
Back out looking for Natural Wonders today and noted that Alice in Wonderland had my fifth wonder so after finding that it only stood for reason that I go a little furthur to grag this cache that I have not found so it went to the top of the list to check out today after Alice.
I struggled with this guy as the GPS kept telling me it was where it was not so after widening my search area it was found in a completly different area.
Thanks for placing.

Interesting information about the area.
When the cache was published I was heading in that direction on a important errand. Could I squeeze in a quick search then continue with my day. Sure give it a try, so I was able drive to, locate the hide and sign in 7mins and continue with my day.
It came to time and place for a quick [FTF].
Log signed and replaced as founds
Thanks for the traditional cache Magpies22
