A chilly one today but that won't put us off our quest. We have enjoyed our time travelling the YP. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.

Chilly weather has returned and storm coming later today so on a mission to clear as many as we can around Kadina with iluvtrekking. Thanks for the hide.
Needed a find on my caching calendar and was free so off to find a cache. Have spent many days here while growing up.
The picture you have on the page that is my Grandfather next to Brian Bailey
Great to have a cache here to bad the track doesn't get the use that much these days.

After a busy week at work I got myself organized for a leisurely day on the YP incentivized by an event in Wallaroo.
I made myself a list of caches to find and ended up with 35 finds for the day. There were a few dnf as well probably there and probably me just being cache blind.
The event was great a super spot and a huge crowd of cachers converged for a great catch up.
Weather was amazing in the morning but after the event turned quite wintery.
Some interesting wildlife a few mice that were too close for comfort (cms from my hands although think they were more terrified of me than me of them) and a sleepy lizard can’t imagine why he was out today.
My thanks to all the hiders for giving me a splendid day out!
This one took forever to find got it in the end TFTC

Time for a Wednesday wander.
The awesome four met at the Rat's den and headed north.
The awesome four consisted of SA Sewer Rats, Brisal5, Astro and BlackAdders.
The day day started with a light drizzle, and then warmed up throughout the day.

The usual Wednesday wander again with the Adders, Brisal and Astro and a Rat.
The targets were a number of newly published hides scattered around the copper coast and surrounds. Many were easily found where others took a bit more searching.
All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.
Thank you for the cache LilliGHass, found 20/04/2022, 1:35:23 PM

The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle solving group had us heading northwards once again in search of solved puzzles and anything else we might be passing. Today it was myself, S.A. Sewer Rats, Blackadders and Astro. [:o)] Meeting at the Rat's nest we headed today towards Kadina and around the top of Yorkes . There were the usual laughs[^], bad jokes, and some more DNF's to add to a list that should be shrinking and not increasing. [:(!]
Could see the hide for this one and then the cache as we approached. [^] Very quick find here.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks LilliGHass for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

We took a short tour around the Copper Triangle on a surprisingly (for this time of year) wet and blustery day .
Some great history here, but it looks like the place has been abandoned now .

Thanks for another one LilliGHass.

Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. The storms of the past week have stopped our work for now so today we headed out for lunch at Port Hughes picking up a couple of caches along the way.

in the old trotting track was kinda hard to find lucky i’m talking enough to see it lol
We drove around Kadina for a while and then got to this cache. Interesting placement found by my partner in crime before I did. Some height was required which is what I had to make up for my cache blindness. Interesting information.
Thanks to LilliGHass and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
I had been staying in Poert Broughton for a few days and on my way home I stopped off to find a few caches that had popped up on my map in the Copper Triangle since I was last up here. [^]
Stopped off here in a familiar place and very soon spotted the tell tale signs of a cache.
Thanks for the cache LilliGHass.

An interesting bit of history. No one here today so I quickly found the cache. I seem to remember finding a cache here many years ago. I guess that one must be archived now.

Found during a stay at Moonta for an extended weekend, targeting caches mostly around Moonta on Saturday, Wallaroo on Sunday and Kadina on the Monday. Thanks for the cache LilliGHass!
Headed off to meet up with the froghoppin duo for some copper coastal caching today. A few fun tracks were traversed with our two cars in convoy, the tracks were great, no issues at all. But a little rain tomorrow could change all that
Most of the caches were quick finds and in good health, a couple needed some TLC. Most of the coastline was beautiful and pristine , a couple of spots were sadly turned to dumping grounds. [:(!]
This one in particular I wentb and grabbed first, as the others had been here a week or two before. Had a feeling of deja vu - pretty sure I'd found a cache around here once before!!!
Appreciation to LilliGHass for placing and maintaining this cache on our YP geo map

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck!

Do stay safe when caching.
Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]
Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on
2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through
Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]
Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!
Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting

In the area doing some cache maintenance and also visiting a friend so decided it was time to pick up this last one in the town. I think it's nice to recognize someone important to the harness industry, as long as this cache is active there name will be remembered. Tftc.
Reasonably accurate coordinates and an obvious sign at GZ led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks LilliGHass for the cache.
