Day 1 on the hunt for Magic Mushrooms with StealthSeeker. So busy with the cache I forgot to look at the views.Cute artwork. Found a handy natural tool nearby and took that with us for the day.
TftcToday, I hit the Mushie Trail. I found more than I had originally intended to find. If my phone hadn't gone completely flat, I may have tried the last 14 on this road. It was probably a good thing it did as I think I may have pushed it a bit by the end of the day due to the heat and health. The hints made easy quick finds.Between the vegetation, we caught a glimpse of Woopi12 of 45
I said to my wife that I thought we had found the 65 finds we needed in the Coffs Harbour LGA to complete a challenge. We had always planned to grab one or two extra just to be sure. I told her it was time to look for a chemist in Woolgoolga because we didnt have much left to go. tftc
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...Cache full of water. .. TFTC ..

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

Taking Anne of Green Gables 4WD, she’s enjoying driving this road.
Great log, it was wet and I just wiped it and then I could write my name, no problem.

We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

These artistic mushrooms don't just look good, they're also fun to find. We're really enjoying the variety in the changing 'shroom species. TFTC earthly65.

We had a phone call from pprass about the event being held at Whoopi, so after some discussion we decided to travel up together.
At the same time some of the much awaited mushroom trails were published so they gave added insentive to head north. This also gave us an opportunity to give our new car its first run.
We met up with Huskymaddog at this location & they had sussed out where mushroom #8 was. We signed the log & now wait for it to be published.
Thankyou earthly65 for placing this cache.

I loved this mushroom. My favourite of the ones published so far! Worthy of a FP for the artist
We've been expecting this trail for a while so it's great to see it finally up and running, the first part at least
We managed to find all 12 currently published without too much trouble, as well as one that isn't with a combination of logic and a bit of luck thrown in the mix.
Great to see such a variety of designs, thanks to all the cachers who contributed to the trail.
Thanks for the cache earthly65

Found at 12:05 PM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
There were a few friendly motor cyclists today using the same track. No issues with any danger.
Didn't notice the view of Woopi though.
Thanks earthly65.

Love the view from here. The clouds are looking a bit more threatening so guess I'd better get a bit quicker at the remaining ones. This one made me smile, the local TOTT weren't being useful in retrieving the log so eventually just went back to the car ofr something instead. Probably a good idea to keep it in my pocket. Some bikers went past at a great rate of knots while I was writing up the *FTF*log, so far all those I've seen have been while I've parked . Tftc
