Day 1 on the hunt for Magic Mushrooms with StealthSeeker.Didn't see the hint marker but found the cache without problem as co-ordinates were good. That's a fair sized shroom
TftcToday, I hit the Mushie Trail. I found more than I had originally intended to find. If my phone hadn't gone completely flat, I may have tried the last 14 on this road. It was probably a good thing it did as I think I may have pushed it a bit by the end of the day due to the heat and health. The hints made easy quick finds.13 of 45
At this hide we decided to turn around and head for town. The first few drops of rain were starting to fall and we didnt want to get stuck out here on a wet dirt road. We had already burnt through a few big puddles this morning so it was clear just how much fun this road could become after a few drops. tftc
While camping at Emerald Beach for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We had to get out and look for a few caches ...All Good .. TFTC ..
GAP YEAR BIG LAP - PART 2: THE ROAD TRIP - Day 3 Continuing on our tiny mushroom sampling tour today during our brief stop to visit an old friend in Woolgoolga on our way south for our clockwise big lap. What a great idea this trail is but quite daunting to try to manage the whole lot in one visit - might get a bit of a fungi overdose if one tried... Another great creation with spider guardian a nice touch! Good use of a familiar ointment jar for the log & so many swaps. Took some fungi packs, left gecko & cowrie shell. This was number 7 on our fungi tour of 8 today & the patience of the others was starting to wear. Also our driver was a bit low on petrol, so we better not go too much further. Maybe just one more... Added a favourite point!^3715 @ 1530hTFTC earthly65 & team
On the hunting trail with Liz and Bruce on a 2024 New Years adventure. A quick find here. Its a great day for caching. TFTC earthly65

This morning we had some time on our hands to go out and do some mass caching! We decided to come up to the MMT and WoopiBucca trails to get some numbers up for the may challenge. Had a great day out here!
Quick find, cool container!
Sorry for all the generic logs.

An unexpected trip to northern NSW allowed me time to grab a few caches along the way. Opted to have a day dedicated just for caching on my way home so I took to the P/T’s around Coffs. Thanks to the CO’s for your hides.

A favourite for a great container.
We set out from Woolgoolga up into the hills today with the Magic Mushroom and WoopiBucca trails in our sites. The roads were good despite all the recent rain and we enjoyed the forest drive.
There were quite a variety of hides, in both size and design. Many of the Magic Mushroom caches had lots of time put into the containers which was both entertaining and appreciated. Quite a number of logs were wet as you would expect with all the rain but others were pristine. It never ceases to surprise us how some containers work well while others don't. The country was at times tough, particularly where the lantana is taking hold
We awarded quite a number of favourites on the Mushroom trail and probably should have given more, but we were on a mission.
Our thanks to the CO/s for a great effort to establish a trail with a difference.
Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache earthly65.

Didn't have any trouble finding this lovely big mushy. MrG had gone straight to the spot without the help of the hint solely because he couldn't see it, even when I pointed it out. A wonderful contribution to the trail and a container I could recognise with a blindfold on. TFTC earthly65 and Bobbiesgirl.
Yes. Great container. Out geocaching today with Magpie Cottage and Wanda Wambat. Another great find. Thanks for hiding this cache for our enjoyment earthly65

We had a phone call from pprass about the event being held at Whoopi, so after some discussion we decided to travel up together.
At the same time some of the much awaited mushroom trails were published so they gave added insentive to head north. This also gave us an opportunity to give our new car its first run.
This was one of our favourite mushrooms of the day. Bobbies is a great solver of puzzles & is always happy to lend a hand.

Didn't locate the red painted zip tie until after we'd found the cache, but such a great sized mushroom wasn't too difficult to find. Nice one Bobbiesgirl!
We've been expecting this trail for a while so it's great to see it finally up and running, the first part at least
We managed to find all 12 currently published without too much trouble, as well as one that isn't with a combination of logic and a bit of luck thrown in the mix.
Great to see such a variety of designs, thanks to all the cachers who contributed to the trail.
We didn't see the mentioned zip tie, but managed to make our way to GZ without issue.
Thanks for the cache earthly65

Thanks Earthly65 you have put in such a lot of work.

Nice one ! Can't say I saw the tell tale from the hint but found the cache fairly soon anyway. Geodog thought some of the sticks locally were good tucker. He swapped out fairly easily for a chunk of Fennel this time. *FTF*
