A fitting end to a nice little drive around the gems of Pokolbin. The landmark was an interesting one when we first drove past. We dropped by Sabor this morning for a great lunch of flaming brownie complete with great views of the vineyard. Thanks for the AL and little tour around Pokolbin!

The partner and I took a nice drive around the AL stops, while also taking in a huge huge dessert at Sabor. Thanks CO for showing us the various spots around the area, and it was a great way to explore and enjoy the crisp fresh air in the area. TFTC!

Day 24 of our roadtrip in Australia. After two days of rain, which basically canceled most of our outdoor plans, the sun is back again. We're now in the Hunter Valley for some wine tasting and good food and will explore the countryside today mostly with the labcaches, but also with a few physical caches in between. A fun way to tour the wine country using these adlabs especially as its raining constantly stopping us from doing other things than just drivebys.We got waylaid with a couple of trads along the way, an oldie and a high favourited one just making the experience even more fun. Once all our data was collected we soon had our greedy hands on the final.Thanks techsavvy9 for the bonus placement.

I had gotten 1 wp last year, after attending my work Christmas party, and today, grabbed the rest. Was a bit of backwards and forwards, but got there in the end. Another P&G for the count today. TFTC and AL.

We are heading up the coast to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria.

Out doing some adventure labs around this area while staying nearby. It took us to some interesting places. Grabbed all the info needed for this bonus cache. Then it was an easy enough find, once at GZ.

finally had the time and the need to pick this cache up considering the current challenge was able to work it out without finishing the lab dully but will pick up the last one another daytrip many thanks for the tour over the last little while, fav from me

Heading north we picked up a few caches along the way and this was one of them while staying at Cessnock.

After completing the Lab cache we gathered the required information for the final. A quick find, cache and contents were in good condition.

Thank to the Hint and the good coordinates the little box was found quickly!

We completed your AL back on 31/10/21 but as we were heading in the opposite direction we didn't return to do the final. Back in the area again & after finishing the Wine Country Drive we swung back by here to locate the cache.
We enjoyed your AL it took us by some wonderful locations. We must get to the Xmas lights in the vineyard some time.

I completed the AL a few weeks ago but the final was in the wrong direction so I didn't get to it until today. Cache is all good, TFTC!

The coordinates had me in an obvious location but the geodog and I were a bit daunted by the cars whizzing by at 80km/h. Turned over a few things, stuck my fingers in places they shouldn’t have gone (found a few friendly arachnids), and still came up with nothing.

Did most of the legwork in the dark after a dinner event nearby. Counting things by fading torchlight was a bit of a challenge but finished the night with some numbers to try today. Thanks techsavvy9.

Decided to head out this way today to pick up some Adventure Labs, and after finishing the related AL for this one, we continued down the road to make the find on the final. Nice quick easy spot to pull up and the cache was soon located.

Out for a drive today to get out of the house and decided the Hunter Valley was a good place to go, considering I haven’t been out this way for quite awhile.

This was lovely fun racing around the Hunter Valley doing this AL. Nice and quiet today, muggles have already headed back to the city lucky me!

Easy find after a fun series.

I'm visiting Cessnock while we're camping on the shores of Lake Macquarie to get a much needed caching fix.

I very much enjoyed this adventure as I haven't been to the wineries for quite a few years. Much is the same as I remember, but lots of new wineries and stuff have popped up since then, so now I'm hankering to make a longer return visit.

Camping at Bulga with Pesky! we took a drive around a few distilleries and wineries and completed the AL to obtain the information. A good AL and bonus cache.

Wrapped up the Adventure Lab elements this morning and headed off to GZ for a nice quick find and sign on this bonus cache. Adding a favourite for the overall experience. TFTC techsavvy9

TFTC. I found this after having afternoon tea at Sabors with my grandmother. Was very nice.

Catching up with late logs

We are slowly working our way south after having a great time at the mega in Dayboro and because it was still school holidays and we had the camper on behind we decided to concentrate more on Adventure labs as they aren't affected by Muggles and anything else that it looked like we could get.

Unfortunately we picked a terrible day to visit Port Macquarie and surrounds as once again the rains were falling heavily. We had plans to try and grab quite a few caches here but that changed into just grabbing the labs before trying to drive out of the rain. Even with the bad weather we really enjoyed this adventure lab highlighting Pokolbin

Once finished we were rewarded with the co-ords for this bonus cache and we headed off to try our luck there. The cache was located in the first place we looked but unfortunately we didn't see it that time around After a bit of an extended search we came to where our GPSr was insisting that we should be looking and sure enough this time we had the container in hand and the log book now contains our name.

We decided to drive up to Hunter Valley for the day to restock our Lemon Myrtle Vodka, tuck into a delicious sharing board and do a few caches around Pokolbin and Wollombi.

After completing the last waypoint of the AL, we drove up to the Bonus cache which happens to be right next to our favourite winery!

Doing some caching in the Hunter Valley region with illook4geo today and enjoying the caches and the views that the area has to offer. The container and log here were in good condition, with the log being signed with either both full names or sometimes just initials. It was a great day to be touring Pokolbin with not too many others on the road, but the wineries were full. Tomorrow we are going back to some of the sites, particularly for some of those desserts and a walk around the gardens. With the bonus location in hand we drove there and soon had the cache, not needing the hint at all. Thanks for our Valley travels and this bonus cache, we had a top day.

What a lovely drive this was around the vineyards. We stopped and had a coffee at Sabor and played aqua golf with the kids at the Gardens. Tempted to refill the cellar (especially after parking next door to Gundog) but sadly the toddler needed a nap! Thanks for a fun morning out and about! TNLN TFTC

We didn't really have any plans for today, the weather forecast being pretty negative, when this cache was published it gave us a good reason for an outing. The adventure lab went smoothly, despite having been up here many times to various wineries and fooderies, most of the spots you brought us to were new to me.
Coordinates were good, so the final didn't take long.... TFTC!!
