My final day of caching and sightseeing in Mount Isa with RoddyC, hatzofff, grannysmith1947 (Logs signed as Team4QLD) and joined by Team TBU.Very early start to the day, and after our trip to the lake, it was time for some tree fishing, then random caches on our to-do list in and around town.Apologies for the generic logs, but I very much enjoyed all the caches found. They were in good condition and a credit to the several cache owners who placed them and maintained them for our benefit and enjoyment THANK YOU

Found the cache with TBU1Bikesu - and with Team Q4 which added extra fun. Some caches were easy to get to, some needed bigger efforts, some were quickly found, some took longer .... It was a fun day out. Thanks to all cache owners who put out these caches for our enjoyment.
Day 20With the QOGM event now over it was time to head up to Mount Isa to a town we had never visited before bringing us higher in Queensland than we have ever been before. Our aim is to do some solved puzzles, multis, the virtual, labcaches and some older trads, not to mention sightseeing. We are really enjoying our stay here in Mount Isa, lots of caches, lovely sunsets, unique landscape and the spring wildflowers are amazingly different to ours in Victoria.Another day of caching with the object of getting 15 more finds to help qualify for the local challenge cache.Sat on the rock but there wasnt any soccer to be watched today Thanks wicksy1770 for the placement.
Mt. Isa Day 7 This was to be our last day here but we have extended our stay for one more day.
A very good hint made fora quick find here.

It is also day 89 of a streak.
Still in Mt Isa for a couple of nights and doing some touristy stuff today, but ducked out to find an obligatory cache for the day. A quick find here and cache back in its hidey spot.

After walking to the top of this hill, we took the rocky and slippery slope back down to the car.
This was a quick find at GZ. Today, all was quiet at the playing fields near us, although it was interesting to see how green the grass is on the fields. There was even a lot of water sitting around.
Log signed.
Thanks AmberSparks for the path tag.
Thanks wicksy1770

This is day 2 in Mount Isa with the plan of finding as many caches as we can in the time we have here. The three main goals for tis visit was the Adventure labs. The MCT Bison series and GCGNEG Comet Moon.
We pulled up to quite a different grand stand here and although we think the game is in season being mid week there was no one using the facilities at all not that it would have mattered if it was being used. A quick search around gz and the container was located and our name has now bean added to the log and everything returned as it was.
Many thanks once more for the cache.

Full time nomads heading to Birdsville for the Big Red Bash. Woo Hoo!
Today we headed out to attempt a few more caches around town. Cold today we had jumpers on all day. Weird as it was quite warm a few days ago when we arrived.
Accurate coords helped make for a swift find
