Archiving a geocache is meant to be a permanent action. Only community volunteer reviewers and Geocaching HQ can unarchive caches. This is done only in rare circumstances and only if the cache meets the current geocaching guidelines.

A DNF for us too.

After setting our vans up in the caravan park with iluvtrekking we headed out to grab some nearby caches. If the 8 weeks we have been in SA, today is the first day we’ve actually felt warmth from the sun ??. Definitely not in plain sight at those co-ords.

Day 9 of our school holiday adventures sees us exploring the upper west coast of the Yorke finding a few random caches as we go. Easy one here - thanks for the cache!

Nice cache and quick find. Thanks.

I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.

This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...

Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke für den Cache. Gracias por el caché. Bedankt voor de cache. Kiitos kätköstä. Zikomo posungira. Terima kasih untuk cache. Hvala cache. Köszönöm a cache. Nga mihi mo te keteroki. Dankie vir die kas.

Found on a trip to the Yorke Peninsula with Freddo to attend the event today.

Despite the threat of bad weather, we somehow managed to avoid the rain until we were almost back hime to Adelaide.

It was a quick find at GZ.

Thanks b_derro for the cache.

After a busy week at work I got myself organized for a leisurely day on the YP incentivized by an event in Wallaroo.
I made myself a list of caches to find and ended up with 35 finds for the day. There were a few dnf as well probably there and probably me just being cache blind.
The event was great a super spot and a huge crowd of cachers converged for a great catch up.
Weather was amazing in the morning but after the event turned quite wintery.
Some interesting wildlife a few mice that were too close for comfort (cms from my hands although think they were more terrified of me than me of them) and a sleepy lizard can’t imagine why he was out today.
My thanks to all the hiders for giving me a splendid day out!
Nice quick find here TFTC

Another Wednesday wander for the befuddled, this time the targets were a number of newly published puzzles and multi caches at the top of the Yorke Peninsula and further north with a few previous DNF's on the agenda.

With a full crew of a Starfish, Rat, Adder and a stargazer we met at the Rat's den at 9am for a long day with our final celebrations at the Bentley Hotel in Clare.

As always, all caches were visited and signed by all members of the group or each member had a part to play in retrieving the prize.

All caches were in good condition unless noted otherwise.

The container was found to contain an amount of water that had somehow made it's way inside Sad After emptying and drying the contents as best we could the log was signed and returned.

Thank you for the cache %CacheName b_derro, LilliGHass, found 1/06/2022

Yay time a Wednesday wander., for the befuddled Puzzlers. The group consisted of the Rat,a starfish, the Starman and the Adder.
We started from the Rat's den, then Two Wells, Avon then over to the top of the Yorkes and further north.
Our plan was to find Puzzles, multi's, trads and any DNFs.
A quick find at GZ, for the Befuddled Puzzlers.
We stamped the logbook, replaced the cache where we found it.TFTC

01-Jun-22
The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group had us heading back once again to the upper Yorke Peninsular in search of solved puzzles and anything else we came across. Surprised Today it was myself, Blackadders and Astro meeting S.A. Sewer rats at the Rat's
nest Cool By the end of the day we had traveled over 500 km's in search of pieces of Tupperware in the woods. Big Grin

How does one of these containers end up with water inside. [?] Luckily there was another container inside with the log that was dry. Smile Container empties of the liquid and off we went. Razz

***Thanks b_derro for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Big Grin

Log book all wet so added another container

A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden and all is well

With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.

Thanks for the cache

Today the whole family visited St Kilda and Moonta Bay. We tried some caches on the way. Found 4 traditional caches and 1 adventure lab cache.
This was the last find for today.
After visiting Moonta Bay and Moonta, we tried this cache before heading back to Adelaide.
Cache has been found easily.
Good sized container! So I decided to drop a TB and a GeoCoin.
Signed the log, and put it back.

I had been staying in Poert Broughton for a few days and on my way home I stopped off to find a few caches that had popped up on my map in the Copper Triangle since I was last up here. [^]

Found the nice big container easily, but there was water inside and the log was wet! I was able to stamp the log but the cache could do with a bit of TLC. Big Grin

Met up with the froghoppin duo for some copper triangle caching today. A few fun sandy tracks were traversed with our two cars in convoy, the tracks were great, no issues at all. But a little rain tomorrow could change all that Wink Then back through the towns.

Most of the caches were quick finds and in good health, a couple needed some TLC. Most of the coastline was beautiful and pristine Cool , a couple of spots were sadly turned to dumping grounds. [:(!]

A nice quick find to round off the day by torchlight. No ponies tonight Big Grin

Appreciation to b_derro for placing and maintaining this cache on our geo map Smile

This cache was found and logged using some or all of the resources of GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife), Garmin Montana 750i, Montana 680t, Etrex 35, Samsung S20+, Samsung S9, with Geocaching App, c:Geo, or Geooh Go, and Android Auto and other maps... or sometimes with just plain old dumb luck! WinkCoolBig Grin

Do stay safe when caching.
Watch for snakes, random cliffs, wild goats, wombats, bulldust, and lightning,
try not to get tetanus from rusty mint tins... but especially lookout for bugs. [xx(]

Make sure Travel Bugs are the only ones you share and pass on Big Grin

2020 turned into 2020won, and 2020too is on the way! 2020free should see us through Razz

Still important to observe social distancing when possible, (150 nano caches apart should do it)
Still important to wash your hands (always has been really [:o)]
Still very important to look after each other and take precautions & get checked out for even the tiniest sniffle or cough, or unexpected headache! [8)] [B)]

Still even more important to get some fresh air and exercise while we can, so get out and cache the country!

Thanks so much to all those placing caches out and about away from the city crowds,
keeps our game safe and interesting Cool
