Yeah! Only in the area today & I finally got my first geocache in Australia TFTQC
Appreciate all the easy finds. Took the ferry on a quick trip to manly and enjoying my lunch almost next to GZ From USA
After a nice gelato and a rest in the shade kiwitrecker1 and I proceeded to find this cache. The beach looked absolutely stunning today. Located the cache after enjoying the beach for a bit. TFTC!
Friday caching with oldmorty. We found ourselves at the other end of the Esplanade for another quick and easy find.It might have been a different matter if the fencing had been a little closer.TFTC TFTC_Sydney
Spent the day skating around Manly picking up caches. Was a little worried as a approached as there was some construction in the area but thankfully cache was just outside the fenced off area. TFTC
A workshop done and dusted today out at Manly Pavilion today. 2 hours of facilitating a group of 60, phew! Time to take a little walk to shake off work. How wonderful that this was only 2 minutes from where I was. Brain was a bit fried so I relied on the hint to make a quick find. They are working around the giant Morton Bay fig so GZ was almost roped off - lucky! TFTC.
TFTC and a nice quick find. I was a tad worried as I approached as there was a section fenced off but luckily the cache could be got easily. I left Brian down at the beach while I claimed a few caches and he didnt complain as Manly Beach is beautiful today.
Normally paint pealing would be a hint thatcquickly became obsolete, but not here. TftC.
Found It!Parking seems to be a bit limited over this side of the bay but eventually I found one and then the cache was a quick find once I got to GZ!TFTC
Another great success for myself and the exchange student staying with me at the moment
Checked on this cache and the temporary fence is still there. I reached into the third post and found the cache there. I added a new log and pencil and will update the hint.
Greetings from Wales. After Bridge Climb this morning we grabbed a quick lunch and jumped on the Manly ferry to meet an old school friend who I've not seen for almost 20 years for food and beers. A chancecto grab a few caches whilst I'm here too and a fantastic evening had by all.I hope the CO doesn't mind me logging this cache but it was easily accessible from the road. Log signed and replaced at number 3 rather than 4 which is outside of the builders fencing. Thanks for the cache.
I've been informed of construction work in the vicinity which makes the cache inaccessible. Hopefully, the work will be completed soon.
A short detour to grab this one. Glad to have these caches easily accessible as I tour around. TFTC
If your teens take your car away, what can you do? Hop onto public transportation on an unrostered work day to see some geocaching sights. And grab more finds, both caches and ALs. Hint handy for hapless hunters. Thanks TFTC_Sydney
The hint sure is very specific eddiec17 but then again, that's the whole point of the TFTC Sydney series. They're not called "Totally Findable Tourist Caches" for nothing!!
Found with Benji bear and Hannah bandana while Uncle Peter was at the art gallery. Thanks for the cache!
Schnell geloggt, but the colour needs a bit of imagination:) zusammen mit Philtr0nic:)
Daytripp to Manly.First Cache for today, while my wife went for shopping.TftcDon Paul
Had to wait out paddlensurfer. After visiting Watsons Bay, I was ready to go back to my hotel. However, I chose the wrong ferry and ended up in Manly! It was on my list to visit, so I took advantage of my error. It was windy walking along the shoreline but the sun was shining and I enjoyed every minute. Unfortunately, there was a wind surfer getting ready just above the cache location so I had to wait him out. He eventually move along and I made the find quickly. Thank you for the smiley and the fun!The day:I was visiting from the U.S. and had just completed my goal of driving all the way up the east coast starting in Melbourne and ending in Port Douglas over a few weeks. I arrived in Sydney four days ago as the last stop before heading home. I was sad that my adventure was coming to an end, but I was looking forward to exploring Sydney including Watson's Bay. At least 2 folks had recommended it. The sun was shining (finally!) which made the day that much better. Many thanks to all the geocachers who placed and continue to maintain their geocaches for folks like me to find. I know it's not always easy, but I do appreciate you.
