Thanks for the quick maintenance run by the cache owner, I was able to turn this frown into a smiley. Interesting puzzle, lovely location. Thanks for playing the game.

Cache could not be located in previous hide.Possibly fire involved.Replacement cache placed a few m away at S 42 xx.x81 E 147 xx.x31. Replacement cache as big as a lady's thumb in bark nook on outside of tree at eye level covered by bark.I will work out how to incorporate this into the solved puzzle and the checkers soon. So until otherwise advised please use the OLD coords in the checker then adjust your cords into the NEW coords when you go to find onsite. If you stand at the OLD coords it will be obvious where the NEW coords are - it is the next nearest.

One of sixteen finds today while caching with Zozetta. We began the day at Glenlusk, doing the Tassie Zodiac Trail in reverse order, and finding one other cache on the way. After that we did a bit of the Montrose trail, where we found three, and then finding two others on the way home for a total sixteen finds and no DNFs.

I had looked at this puzzle a few times but hadn’t tried to solve it until one evening, several months ago I decided to have a go. I already had one location that could have been GZ but quickly figured that that couldn’t be it. I did some research and came up with a few other locations but quickly figured out that none of them could be it. I began searching for parks on the map that the caching app provides and eventually found one that seemed to fit the description. I put the coords in the checker and was given the green light. Since then we haven’t been close to GZ and, while I did accidentally log it as found in September and mentioned that Zozetta and I might have a look for it later in the day, we ran out of time so today was the first opportunity that we’d had to look for it. We started searching in the wrong place but quickly realised where it was and made a quick find, favourite point given for the puzzle.

Thanks for the puzzle and cache mr_johna!

Thank You Mr Johna for replacing this cache, it's not in a great place, because of the park but it's here and thats all that counts. I was out doing some shopping and I had some time to cache. So to get rid of the blue DNF face I attempted to find the cache. a circle around GZ and a small search and the cache was found signed and re hid. TFTC TNLN log dry. some muggles were walking along the creek and lots were at the swings and things. I hope no one saw me.

I found this cache on the final morning of my trip to Tasmania from Adelaide to visit family and friends and find a few caches.

Today was spent doing a few specific caches of interest around Hobart.

This took some research and a bit of local help, but I got there eventually. I have been to this neighbourhood before (although not the reserve), but that was in the mid-1980’s as part of my work at the time. It hasn’t changed much.

There was no-one about and the cache was quickly found and signed. I was pleased to see all the wheels still on the car when I got back to it.

Thanks mr_johna for the puzzle and the cache.

Cache replaced.

There is construction nearby but the area where the cache is remains accessible down the side or from the other end.

Also despite the sign that has been placed on a nearby tree suggesting to the contrary this is still part of the council reserve/public land.

Replaced.
Hide is not the same as previous but more logical at this GZ.

Hello mr_johna, thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
I'd had a quick glance at this when it was first published, but it seemed like way too much concentration was required to solve, and so it never really got on my radar.
A day off today, and this had some characteristics that I was after, so I sat down to solve, in the car, between appointments.
I'm glad I read the entire listing thoroughly, because something clicked, and with some prior learning as an ex-local, I straightaway knew which park I needed. Well, that made life early and shortly thereafter the checker said yes on my first attempt.
Along with some other relos this morning, I sat in awe in the Hobart Town Hall ball room and listened to some fantastic playing of the magnificent Steinway grand piano by my uncle, at U3A's annual memorial lecture, for an hour or so, then enjoyed a coffee and cousins catch-up and then lunch at the Hanging Gardens.
Afterwards KingSmev drove ('L's) me to near GZ, and we walked in, he found the cache after I couldn't find it at the wrong item, but where the GPSr put me.
Nice and quiet here, so added names, re-hid as was, and departed.
All's well at GZ.
Thanks for adding an adventure to my already fantastic day.
Cheers, EPs.

Some maths, theList, Excel and a custom Google map, and I had 65 possible points.
Most could be discounted, and the checker was happy with the first one I tried.
GZ was completely deserted this afternoon, so a relaxed and easy find.
Thanks

Today we decided to trek into Hobart and surrounds and find a few more caches that we have not found and to make them a smilie. A very cold, windy and a tad wet but braved the coooooooold weather and rugged up for the occacion.

Having worked through this puzzle before we parked nearby and walked down to the creek to GZ. A good place to visit as we have not been here before.

Cache and contents were in good condition.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

We are in the process of solving many outstanding puzzles in the Greater Hobart area. One of the reasons being we are wanting to keep our stats up for the month of May.

We just solved this puzzle at the weekend. It is one that we attempted a while ago and never nailed it so we put it aside. Happy to rediscover it and solve it relatively quickly. Pleasant stroll to gz and good hide. TFTC

Hi Mr Johna

Needed to go out for a quick walk to keep the legs from ceasing up after a long walk. Wandered to the GZ to find two people sitting on a concrete pipe, two people being suspicious on the bank on the riverluet. Hmm, this is going to be difficult. Then a person turned up walking through the park... OMG is this the Mall.....

Got to the GZ and noticed the cache, and there was a large object covering myself from the other people. Great, Grab, sign and returned in record time and walked over to the river to have a look and cover my tracks.

After a bit of an outing to an old cache a tad up a small hill myself and the Goose needed a feed so called in a at a local independent and were very surprised with one of the best burgers i'd had in a long time.

Anyway after that we called 'round the corner' and after a quick search the cache was located and we added our names to the log, i did find this cache interesting as it duplicated my method to solve a number of puzzles in years gone by.

Thanks for something different.

After 'Up up and ... be quick' we stopped in for some lunch not too far from here (had a very nice burger). Feeling somewhat revitalized we headed off for this cache, taking the second access option. With the hint we had no issued finding the cache.
For some reason I had picked this park straight away when I started my search online and it all fell into place very quickly.
Nice to see a puzzle that is a bit different so adding a favourite point.
Thanks mr_johna

We were heading out today for lunch to celebrate our 41st Wedding Anniversary and decided to find a few newly published caches and as we had solved this one, we added it to the list. An interesting and different type of puzzle which we enjoyed finding the coordinates for. Deserves a favourite. TFTP

Thanks for the puzzle mr_johna.
The GeoGSP were heading out for a walk this afternoon, so I decided to have a look at this puzzle to see if I could get anywhere with it.
Turns out I was able to step through the steps and get the thumbs up from the geochecker fairly quickly. So we made this a stop on our way to our walk. It was a nice quick find at GZ.
Thanks for a 'doable' puzzle.

Hi Mr_Johna
Had a bit of luck with the puzzle as it did not take very long
Found the walk to this cache fascinating
An old wall by a creek, yapping dogs, ducks on the creek and a disused metal tower
Sainted the cache at 1012 hours

FTF @ 0845. This cache worked out perfectly as Mondays are a late start, so I sat down with coffee and flashed up the laptop in order to work it out. There are a lot of potential spots within the radius but the first place I found that fitted the clues turned out to be correct - that was quicker than expected! I didn't even to get to finish my coffee! Once at GZ it was easy find with the clue. An enjoyable puzzle & it's been a long time since we've had a FTF. TFTC mr_johna!

Solved fairly quickly with one error on checker. Unfortunately the drive is slow so beaten to FTF. Another different park which even had conkers for retrieval. Thanks for a different puzzle mrj.
