With very tired legs after a beautiful walk around the headland to Church Bay we staggered up the hill to find this one before heading down to the ferry. Thank you x
TFTC. Lovely day for a stroll and some caches. Last day of our Matariki weekend here.
Cool find I was confused for a second. View the Photo to see what the cash looks like
We are staying in Diamond Harbour for a couple of nights so had time to find many of the nearby caches. Many I needed for a challenge but completed that now and onto just caching. Fun. What an interesting area to visit. So much history.Add an imageUpload image
A quick stop while driving between Christchurch and Akaroa via Port Levy. If tempted to do the same DON'T. Steep and twisty is bad enough without the metal section in the middle.
I parked at the bowling green and walked across from there only to find I could have parked a lot closer. Second to sign the log today. TFTC # 20,818
Our eldest daughter and grandson are visiting from Wellington for a few days. GeoHubby is at work so us girls (MomsOB, Gabzter13 & UnicornLex) planned a trip over to Diamond Harbour just for ice creams. Of course we had to get this cache while we were here. I'm surprised there isn't more in the area. Thanks for the cache.
Missed the ferry so had some time to kill, lovely we walk out around the head and then grabbed this on my way back. TFTC
Heute einen Abend Spaziergang hier unternommen und den Cache gefunden. Danke frs Zeigen und Verstecken.
Stopped here for lunch in the shade and spot this on the map while catching up on logs. Quick find and sign. TFTC
13:10Found it! As per coordinates and the hint. However it was only a double-bagged logsheet instead of a rigid cache container.I had some pill bottles in my bag so after signing the logsheet, I replaced it along the innie bag inside a pill bottle container of mine, and I put the container in the outer bigger ziploc bag.Hid it back at the same location.I was wondering about the cache title, thinking maybe it's a typo or something, but thanks for explaining it in the description Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, CatseyesNZ!#9988
I'd come to Diamond Harbour to check on a puzzle cache of mine due to a suspicious log. It turned out I was correct and gabbypars had not, in fact, signed the log.
One the way home I called in here but had no luck finding the cache at any of the hint items on either side of the track. I can neither confirm nor deny the last found it log, but I'm sure Jude_E found it in April as she signed my log the same day.

Left home at 8.00am for a day's caching tour of some of the northern Port Hills backroads. But first there were a few caches at Diamond Harbour to sign off. It's been a while since I was last here. I think Godley House was still standing when I last visited this area. Cache was a quick find once the dog walkers had passed by. Thanks for the cache CatseyesNZ.
Nice Trip with our Cousin Janosch. Awesome view in the coastal walk. Tftc from Germany
The first cache on our second day in New Zealand. We had some time left before going by ferry and Bus to Christchurch.
Nice easy find. Visting from Palmy, had a nice big breakie at the Cafe, a bit of a fish at the wharf and a quick cache. Lovely slice of NZ here. TFTCSK TNLN
We have a visitor Fergus coming to stay at our quitecential kiwi bach. So preparations were called for.
Got this after the tasks were complete. A 10 seconds find thanks

Quick find today on an afternoon stroll after the ferry cruise. Gorgeous day in the harbour. Tftc ️
Such a peaceful day to wander around this area. Wish I had an area like this near to where I live
In the area for work. This was along the way so I jumped out and made a few quick finds. Area to myself so had no issues with making a find.
TFTC CatseyesNZ, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 3 find(s) of 3 today, making this find #3472

Quick find in a lovely place. Muggles just on the other side of the fence so I got to feel like a sneaky sneak.
Great wee area to visit, could have stayed longer but only on a day trip today.

We headed over to Diamond Harbour today, picking up a number of caches here and there. A great day for it and lots of pleasant scenery along the way! Another quick find. #5060. TFTC.
I'm currently down in Christchurch geocaching with my brother tbird 53. Today we came over to Diamond Harbour picking up geocaches, going on walks and enjoying the scenery. Good spot here, TFTC
A nice quick find thanks. And a nice walk too.
Ms_KR and decided to go for a drive to Diamond harbour, for a potential FTF. The weather was a bit drizzly, but for the most part dry. A lovely day for caching.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

I liked the story to this cache altho I liked it less when I saw the agapanthus! I do love flower talk altho I'm a bit lost at this description: the inflorescence is a pseudo-umbel subtended by two large deciduous bracts at the apex of a long erect scape. Coming from England and visiting Rotorua for the first time in 1983, I thought agapanthus was so cool. Now that I've broken forks when trying to eradicate it, I have a different opinion. Very pleased not to have to grovel thru those plants for the find. Tftc
Caching around Diamond Harbour on Christmas Day..Lots of Picnicing Muggles here so we had to be stealthy We're good at doing that..A car was parked right at GZ,but thankfuly no one was in it.And it was a quick find...TFTH
A quick grab after sliding around a bit while I waited for the takeaways to get done at the cafe. Cheers
This one took a few minutes to track down and wasn’t helped by some muggles and a dog passing. It has been a beautiful day and a great way to finish the day. TFTH
Walked about the head land a little so took a circular route to here and back to the car.
We were out today find some solved puzzle and other caches. A lovely day to enjoy the walks in the area. Thanks for bringing us here and the cache CateyesNZ.
Quick find on a ferry adventure with the littles. Thanks for giving us a cache to find out here. Miss 6 grabbed it first

Great day at diamond a harbour for the day with the family, such a nice place. Thanks.
First find of the day and probably the only one not loaded on the GPSr. Hand loaded the info after not being successful with the phone. Got there in the end, persistence paid off.

Quick easy find with cab165 and Luna, the dog. There’s a lot of hints around though!! TFTC
On a glorious day that could have been summer, rather than autumn, we decided to catch the ferry over from Lyttleton for a little walk around Diamond Harbour. The cache was quickly retrieved. TFTH!
A neat little hide, which was found without interruption, as this was Easter and this area was booming. Along with all the visitors there was the Westpac helicopter, preparing for liftoff only a 100 metres away. Loved the little history lesson. Thank you Catseyes.
Spent a pleasant afternoon walking around Diamond Harbour. This cache was a quick find. TFTC.
What a surprise to find we were second to find.
It was a bit of a stop start drive on a nice sunny morning and not a lot of traffic. An easy find after an unnecessary longer walk. That was our fault. TFTC
