No luck here.For today I picked Lake Coogie to explore and seek for caches. Loved both, thanks a lot for the nice series.

Perfect day for a walk so I made sure the pram was in the car and we set off for an adventure. There's less likelihood of complaints if the Turdler is being pushed around with a slight chance he'll nap so off we (just the Turdler and I) went to Lake Coogee today. We had found 3 here previously so set off heading in the opposite direction.

Another boggy marsh here and the Turdlers nap wa short lived so we had to move on.

Out and about getting some fresh air and grabbing a few smiley's. Lake Coogee has been on the radar for a while now. Just hope the rain stays away. My co ords were about 4m out. TFTC

A nice wintry morning for a fresh walk around the lovely lake picking up smileys in this series and what a great enjoyable run of caches it is! This is one I found. All good here. Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks Gumnut6160 for all the work put into creating the series.

The coords wanted me fair and square in one location, but I couldn't find anything after a good scout around. I widened the search a fraction, then found something that looked a little out of place, and I had the cache in hand. [^]

I took care of the business end of things and returned as found.

Headed out to Lake Coogee to complete the caches out here...what a perfect winters day for caching. Not many people out so no need to worry about being spotted.

Enjoyed a very nice walk around the lake today, very peaceful. Seems like some other cachers might have been on parts of the trail earlier but no-one seen on my walk. All caches were nice quick finds, with the exception of #1 (MIA) and #17 (DNF). Extra log notes added where appropriate. Thanks for bringing me here today, really enjoyed this series. TFTC

As this cache was close to the lake and near long grass, I was wary of snakes. All good, found the cache and signed the log sheet.

Checked on this one today after the recent DNF.
Found on ground at base of tree. Placed back to where it should be.

3 times back and still no luck
Pretty sad that we couldn't have all yellow smiley faces

This was our last cache for the day. 16 find and This one as a DNF, always sucks to leave the day on a sign DNF but we had a long look and zero luck. Will be back another day for another go.

Out with ILT on a rain free morning. Thought we’d had the brunt of wet weather down south but we have found Perth and suburbs are just as sodden. Sections of the track here are under water but this cache ok. Thanks gumnut6160

Grabbed some scooters and rode off along the lake to grab this cache and it's neighbour - quick ride and find with Jid_x. We looked a sight in our working rig and scooters - beautiful day for it. Great hide and awesome cache, we had picked it up before we realized what it actually was. Cache is in good condition and plenty of room left on the log

Found it. TFTC Gumnut6160. Came for a ride round the lake, thought I might do a few of these cache’s on the way. Quick find here today thanks.

We have travelled from Portland Victoria across to WA to see our daughter.

We are the victims of what we have now learned was unleaded petrol being added to the diesel tanks at Eucla. Many vehicles broke down across the Nullabor and we were one of the early ones.
As a result our car has been towed to Perth (from Cocklebiddy via Norseman and then Kalgoorlie)

We have now rescued our bikes from the car which they have decided to fix by - this will mean another 2 weeks in Perth - luckily our daughter has not expressed a desire for us to leave her house. Yet.
So we rode from Beeliar to do the C10 and Lake Coogee series. Both were lovely rides but we had one DNF on each.

Out for a morning run to grab the couple of caches that I DNFed on my last trip here. It was a bit wetter than the last time.
I started looking in the wrong location for this one but after spending a few minutes here and coming up empty I widened the search a bit and then spotted the clever cache.

Once we had parked up (a bit further than expected) we walked back to this cache and I was able to locate the good camo shortly after arriving at GZ.

Good hide and nestled nicely

Find 25 of 30 with 2 DNFs on a gentle bike ride from North Coogee, out to Lake Coogee and back via Woodman Point. Enjoyed a snorkel around the Omeo wreck afterwards to cool off. Many thanks to Gumnut6160 and Cravo10 for providing most of our Good Friday entertainment with some quality caches all the way round.

I don't know if this one is missing. I found a stick in the tree that had a hole that was half filled with silicon. I looked around for a container but couldn't find it.

Found after a couple of circuits of the host.

I left the area next Lake Coogee just 10 minutes before the publishing of these caches last night, and didn't notice until I finally got home. So, following a relaxing morning, I took the bike out on the back of the car to tackle these caches. There was a nice variety of caches, which was greatly appreciated.

Have been thinking it would be good to add a series around this lake, ticks all the boxes for me, sealed paths, wildlife, rather peaceful in its own way. I was beaten to the placement and not at all upset, a great range of containers and hide types so thanks for adding these caches to be found.

The notifications of this series didn't arrive until Chwiliwr noticed them on the website some 20 minutes after publication. We got ready and went for a drive. We got diverted by some roadworks so didn't start on the east side as we intended but on the south west side after Chwiliwr found a 4WD track over the waste land.

From this cache we then walked clockwise around the lake picking up a few firsts along the way and one DNF.

Blank log here so joint *FTF* with Chwiliwr. Log signed and cache returned as found.

I was checking the website and noticed that the total numbers had gone up quite a few and realised that this series had been published about 20 minutes earlier so advised the Better Half and off we went. The roadworks stopped us going the way we had planned so we started at number 7 instead and then walked clockwise around the lake.

Blank log here so joint *FTF* with the Better Half. Log signed and cache returned as found.
