Went for a drive to check out the Duchess pub.Every place in Australia is just down the roadwell the Duchess was down the road 93km,turn left and another 7 kms down the road.Did a recce to try and get close to the three sisters, rifle creek and hill and some other hill I was looking at and I couldnt find a road into anywhere. At the end of this bitumen the corrogated dirt road was absolutely terrible until I hit Cloncurry shire and then the road was awesome all the way to the pub. Looking forward to another trip soon. Cheersbug PS.no previous logs on-site since September. Some online logs are wrong dates. Didnt expect a little tree climb at GZ.
I am now following the prints of our trip, checking if I have logged them .I overlooked this cache, which our group of Team 4Q and TBU have found and signed on 28.9.23.Tftc drrnrchr

They were in good condition and a credit to the several cache owners who placed them and maintained them for our benefit and enjoyment ?? ??THANK YOU??

Mt. Isa Day 4
Being the weekend decided that caches closer to town would be our target.
A few were puzzles that had been solve before leaving home.
What a great way to tour the country following the geocaching trail.

We spotted the cache quickly.. As we are getting on in age, we gave the retrieval some thought. Out with the fishing pole .. Gotcha. Signed
Didn't realise a ladder was TOTT girlfriends shoulders were good enough tho. Great cache!!
Carried out cache maintenance on this cache 5/1/2023. All is good with this cache. Moved container back to original hide location. Please always return containers back to exactly where you found it.

Left Cunnamulla after QOGM 2021 heading to Sth Australia, stopped in Mount Isa for a little spell and to catch up with new friends drrnrchr and attack all the caches here. Then WA then back to Cairns June 2022. 10 October 2021 1:10 pm Tyfc drrnrchr total caches now 2736 Replaced this higher where I believe it should be, that is why a tott is required.
This was sooo high. I'm 5'7" and needed to get my big fishing bucket out the car to stand on and still needed a stick to hook it off it's possie. Signed and returned it a little lower. Thanks.
Just 10 finds todayaround beautiful Mt Isa. Our Garmin is still in hospital, so today was another opportunity to try out some of the more advanced features of Cachly.

Full time nomads heading to Birdsville for the Big Red Bash. Woo Hoo!
Today we headed out to attempt a few more caches around town. Cold today we had jumpers on all day. Weird as it was quite warm a few days ago when we arrived.
Accurate coords helped make for a swift find

SJG66 and I spent a few days in Mt Isa, checking out the area and fitting in a few caches. This one was found without the need for a TOTT. Thanks to all the local CO's.
