My final day of caching and sightseeing in Mount Isa with RoddyC, hatzofff, grannysmith1947 (Logs signed as Team4QLD) and joined by Team TBU.Very early start to the day, and after our trip to the lake, it was time for some tree fishing, then random caches on our to-do list in and around town.Apologies for the generic logs, but I very much enjoyed all the caches found. They were in good condition and a credit to the several cache owners who placed them and maintained them for our benefit and enjoyment ?? ??THANK YOU??

Found the cache with TBU1Bikesu - and with Team Q4 which added extra fun. Some caches were easy to get to, some needed bigger efforts, some were quickly found, some took longer .... It was a fun day out. Thanks to all cache owners who put out these caches for our enjoyment.
We were staying for couple of days in Mount Isa to get as many caches as possible - quite successful when we left. We can be very happy with the result! Walks, hikes, bushbashing, drives, stops and goes, big caches, small caches, usual hides, unusual hides, stuck on dirt roads, wrong turns: we had it all. Thanks to all cache owners for keeping us busy and entertained! We saw interesting areas, more suburbs, in other words: we had a ball!Tftc drrnrchr
Travelling with RoddyC, snickersallan and grannysmith1947 as Team4Qld.Day 4 in the Mount Isa area to complete some challenges and get some more smiles and caching with TBUs.TFTCache drrnrchr
Day 20With the QOGM event now over it was time to head up to Mount Isa to a town we had never visited before bringing us higher in Queensland than we have ever been before. Our aim is to do some solved puzzles, multis, the virtual, labcaches and some older trads, not to mention sightseeing. We are really enjoying our stay here in Mount Isa, lots of caches, lovely sunsets, unique landscape and the spring wildflowers are amazingly different to ours in Victoria.Another day of caching with the object of getting 15 more finds to help qualify for the local challenge cache.Parked beside the cache host and made the find. Thanks drrnrchr for the placement.
Our journey to North Queensland will take us through many different towns.
Here's one to find today. Thank you for placing the cache drrnrchr.

I think some people in the car park thought that poor elderly woman has fallen over, to be on the ground like I was.

All quiet near GZ on Sunday afternoon. This took a while to find but we could finally sign the log. Thanks to drrnchr for the cache.
Day 83 of our greynomad trip up north from Vic, after a the JLWEvents in Wudinna SA, a tour of Maralinga and caching to claim LGAs in the Eyre Peninsula, through to Alice Springs, Uluru, Darwin, Kakadu and Litchfield we continue our journey back south. It is also day 82 of a streak, so we are keeping it rolling, I think my numbers are right because right now I'm not sure, at least gcdotcom does.
Staying in Mt Isa for a few nights and having a day of caching today. Geohubby made the find after telling me it wasn't there. nothing like a bit of competitive caching after I told him our friends GEM_54 had found it.

Out and about in Mt Isa again, caching this afternoon. This was the last cache for the day, before shopping for dinner. Not as many muggles about as what it could be during the week. Quick find and sign. TFTC
Apologies for the late log here (25.12.23) but I've had a mad time since getting back to the UK.No luck here, despite a good feel around. Some you win...SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.

We have passed this cache many times over the past few days that we have been in Mount Isa - so it was now time to stop and find it!
Glad for a quick find as it was really busy with cars and muggles all over the place.
Thanks drrnrchr.

I am visiting Mt Isa from Canberra and today I targeted the ALs and some others along the way. Admittedly most of them were GA caches on Rodeo Drive.
As I wandered along I noticed this cache not far from the others so off to look for it I went. Ike others before me I had to circle the area more than once before I managed to grab the cache and log the find. TFTC drrnrchr SL

Looking forward to exploring Mt Isa and this was one of the caches we targeted and found. Thanks drrnrchr
This is day 2 in Mount Isa with the plan of finding as many caches as we can in the time we have here. The three main goals for tis visit was the Adventure labs. The MCT Bison series and GCGNEG Comet Moon.
We were close by doing a stage of the adventure lab and thought that we should really try our luck at this one. As it was late afternoon there weren't too many muggle near gz which meant we were free to search . We must say it did take us a couple of laps before we located the cache but we can now say our name has been added to the log and everything returned as it was.
Thanks again once more for the cache.

This was certainly not where we expected to find a cache. Thanks for the cache, now for some provisions and we will be on our way.
This is not a cache that we would normally chase but with the weather the way it is, we are grateful for it. Thank you for placing this cache for us to find.
Just picking up some more caches around the Mt Isa area while we are here with ilook4geo. There was no problem here and the log was soon signed before all was replaced as found.
Thank you to drrnrchr for putting this cache into play.

My husband and i are on a 8000km road trip from Brisbane to Uluru and tonight we are staying in Mt Isa. After doing the 2 lab caches we had a good introduction to Mt Isa so i dropped my husband at the pub to meet up with his friend and then after finding the wherigo i had time for just a couple more before dinner. I was able to park my car to create stealth and after a little while i spotted this cache. This was my last for today. Thankyou for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

TFTC. Found on a big trip to northern Australia. Found at 8:45 on a Monday night. Everything was so dead there I had no problems with muggles. Gio wife got the clue from the name. Opening the cache was perhaps the biggest puzzle
Knew roughly where it was going to be. A nearby car provided adequate cover for a quick daytime grab.

Had to stop to buy some groceries and lunch here before we head off to Adels grove the next day.
Staying in Mount Isa and headed out early to grab a few caches in the area. I parked nearby and once at GZ the cache was soon in hand.

Our last day in Mt Isa before heading north, just grabbing a few along the road where we could not pull off with the caravan. An easy day as I need to get back to the caravan park to do a tyre rotation.

We arrived in Mt Eliza to discover that everything was closed for the show. What was going to be a shopping trip ended up being a caching trip. This was an easy find because the car park was empty.
Full time nomads heading to Birdsville for the Big Red Bash. Woo Hoo!
Headed out to tackle some local caches. Luckily Mrs Felix was navigating using the GeoApp not our handheld GPSr as she noticed some newly published caches that we would have driven straight past otherwise.

TFTC. A nice quick find in a Muggle free day. You can tell we are from the big towns as we expected to do some food shopping today. Tomorrow on the way to Camooweal. I have had another great day in Mt Isa.
With a bit of time available today I found myself heading for the near by shops and decided I grab this one, I had positioned the car perfectly to provide some vover for a sleathly find
