After completing the Adventure Lab, I sorted the numbers and soon headed to GZ. A quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Simber15. All good with this cache and bonus cache.
Just arrived in Brisbane and heading to the Sunshine Coast for a couple of days. Looking for somewhere to stop and grab a few caches and were delighted to discover this cemetery with 9 caches up for grabs. As a funeral director in Victoria, I was impressed with how well maintained the cemetery was and how neatly set out it was. After completing the adv lab, we got out the pen and paper and did the calculations for this bonus. Awesome adv lab, thanks for the bonus.
We completed the AL then set off (by car) to grab this bonus. A nice quick find by TBS. Coords spot onTFTC
I think I visited this cemetery many eons ago in my caching life - but had not been back since. Still looks the same.. same gravestones But I did take some time to pace near the entrance and note the crypts of the Italian families. I don't think I could have a crypt. My last name doesn't end in a vowel I enjoyed the walkabout for this little Adventure Lab. I was worried I would not be able to find some of the answers given the multitudes of graves - but I had no problems at all - mainly due to very accurate coordinates.I did have to open satellite view to find out to get to the last "Crypt" one. I had started walking and got within 138m before realising I was very much approaching from the wrong angle. To the car for that one.I found this bonus cache nice and safe - right where I expected it. I signed the log and rehid the cache as found. Thank you for giving me something to do on my Sunday, Simber15. TFTC
We completed the ADLab part for this and was absolutely fascinated with some of the elaborate and interesting graves around the cemetery. With the bonus co-ords worked out we arrived at GZ and had the cache found easily.TFTC
An interesting wander around a place we might never have stopped at. Thanks for the tour and the final.
the worth seeing cemetery i visited yesterday on my lab-tour.today i came back to look for the bonus. finding the little box was funny. holding my head into the hedge was not the right way to find the box!tftc greetings from bremerhaven/germany
Had a good look but time was against me, so had to give it a miss. Maybe when next in the area.
Today I came to Nudgee to sign the ABC Challenge cache and then I decided to look around the area. I spent a long time walking all around the cemetery and really enjoyed your AdLab. The bonus cache was well hidden but it didn't take me too long to find. Thanks for the cache Simber15. And congratulations on your 5000th find today!
We finished the AL and realized that the bonus wasn't far away. After an intensive search, *Filser1* and I were able to find the final.T4TC
On our visit of the cemetary we walked the labcache and earned this bonus. The cache was hard to find but we found it.For the labcache and the bonus I spend a favoritepoint here. Thanks to Simber15 for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
A second try at this one with TheKiltedKacher, nice to be able to turn this into a smiley. The mozzies were out, glad I had repellent on, hubby didn't and got many bites. TFTC!
2nd visit, covered in scratches and a stack of Mozzie bites but I found the little sucker. TFTC
Was a great Ad Lab but disappointed that the bonus cache was nowhere to be found. Might be worth the CO having a look as to whether it is still there or not. Looked with my wife who is a very experienced cacher but to no avail
Completed the fabulous Ad Lab, gathered the figures. Went to find and with 2xpairs of eyes and hands plus a wandering signal failed to turn up the cache, after 15 minutes of searching and the mozzies were out in force. Sent a message to get CO for a little nudge in the right direction, I went back later on for another 10 minute search, unfortunately came up empty handed. Perhaps the heat of the day fried my geosense. Hoping another day down the track will turn this log to a happy face.
Completed the ad lab today with nikid1 & headed to the final. Found a 4 pack of beers at gz which I initially thought was the cache (& that was with my glasses on!). A short search & we soon had the cache in hand & our makes added to the log. Replaced as found with natural camo cover. Thanks for the tour of the cemetery & its many varied graves Simber15
GC96X3Q Nudgee Resting AL BonusA last minutes decision to try and get the solstice souvenir had KerriMG and I finishing off this ad lab and collecting this bonus. At first I thought Id found a 6 pack of beer but unfortunately they were empty. After some scratching KerriMG made the find. TFTC Simber15
Spent ages searching for this one and was about to give up when one final glance had me spying something that was very well covered. All good. TFTC
What an amazing cemetery, the crypts are such beautiful tributes to personal life, thanks for bringing us here with your AL placement !!!In the area, attending the AUS vs NZ Netball Constellation Cup '23 at the BEC, so we were in a bit of a rush, and this search chewed up some precious time, before Mrs poolpool reverted to searching logical places and stumbled across the container, TFTC and AL Simber 15
First cache of the afternoon. Started the day with brunch. Second time searching for this one. I had just finished saying to Billy, I think its gone as I spotted the lid. I laughed and pointed Billy that way who stared at the spot for a solid 30 seconds before laughing too. It should havent been this hard. TFTC and adventure. Found with Billy.
First cache of the day! Went back to find this one - should not have missed it the first time! Thanks to CO for the extra hint, Gorjess spotted it first with a giggle!Tftc.
Searched everywhere but was unable to come up with the goods today.
Spent way too long trying to find this cache .

I’m sorry I did not find the actual cache today, but I wanted to express my thoughts on the Adventure Lab it was based on.
I loved it!
We have family interred here and while one half of the team was checking graves, the other half was working their way though the AdLab. A couple of stops had me confused but once I worked it out, I could see the logic in the required answer.
Thought for the day regarding the Nuns and Brothers graves, imagine being that separated from your family were the name on your grave is the one given to you when you made first vows, and it bares no resemblance to the name your parents chose for you at birth.
I must admit I was feeling a little tired and grumbly for the last stop on my journey (The Crypt) having been thwarted by the lake. If your ears were burning with me muttering to my self on “why is the CO taking us *all the way* down there when there were perfectly good crypts at the top”, I apologise- that crypt was amazing. I so want to see inside and find out more about the owner/occupier.
For the record for other seekers, follow the rows of crypts down or head west well before the crematorium to avoid the lake.
I’m not sure why we did not find the cache. Phone GPS took us to a likely spot but it’s not as accurate as my dedicated GPS so abandoned the search after just a few checks. We actually live well over an hour a way so I hope we’ll be back to find it. Here’s hoping for this cache’s longevity.
Thank you for the AdLab, and we hope to be successful in finding the bonus next time.

Unfortunately it wasn’t our time today to find this cache. We even came back for a second visit because we knew it wasn’t going to be easy. We copped out scratches and licks and left with a case of the sads. Thanks anyway, we will be back to avenge
Simber15 I found your cache Nudgee Resting AL Bonus on 19/4/2023, 12:00 pm. This is my find 5070 and find # 7 today. Did the calculations and got the checker to agree. Arrived at GZ where the cache was found after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN

A solo mission out and about today. I was on a bit of an attempted numbers run, and after a big night of partying with the gang last night, thought I was doing well and would walk (/semi-run) this set of ALs. I’m not sure I did it the easiest of ways, and with the intense heat of the day upon me, may have regretted said choice a few times. However I did enjoy my journey through this cemetery and was amazed at some of the burial sites here today.
Once all the ALs were gathered, I was near the car and decided I would in fact drive to the final and make my grab before continuing on my day elsewhere.
Thanks for the cache and the adventure labs Simber15, and for giving me the opportunity to explore this cemetery that I have driven past so many times.

Found it. Can’t say I’m a huge fan of Adventure Labs & multi-caches (only my second ever Ad Lab - call me lazy - but I don't like having to do 5+ steps before I finish/get to a cache). Regardless, I completed this one. This was mainly because there was a gardener near the original Ban-yobbo cache I came here for! The Ad Lab CO was most helpful when I got stuck on the wrong tallest tombstone. The Adventure Lab is quite a walk for a plus size woman wearing Birkenstocks. I think I walked - or at least, was definitely absent from both my son's cricket games - for nearly four hours today. Plus, when I got to the rear of the cemetery and realised there was no way around the lake/creek, I had to climb through 2 holes in fences to get where I wanted quicker (around the lake), rather than going all the way back to a gate in the fence! But the Ad Lab is complete & I’ve even found this bonus cache (Yay! Thanks!). Now I’ve got a long walk back to Padua College cricket fields. Hopefully there is a drink fountain at the station. I don't have any water with me. I didn't have time to do the mystery cache in the centre of the cemetery. Sorry for the negative post - I guess it has been a tough week & and I’m tired. But geocaching and Adventure Labbing is great because it is something I enjoy & at least I get outside and get some exercise! Also, my mind is thinking Uber right now. Very tempting (edit: I didn't Uber it as my phone was nearly flat and I still wanted to get the Ban-yobbo Dead cache at the cemetery entrance before my battery died). I also picked up a couple of caches not far from the Nundah railway station.
After dropping hubby off at the airport for his return to WA for work, I decided to grab a few caches before heading home.
Thought about the Ad Labs at the airport but didn't want to pay for parking, so looked nearby and this one popped up.
I am always interested in cemeteries and the names and places of the people who are buried there. The Mausoleums are quite impressive, plus I bet a lot of money has been paid to have these built.
After working out the numbers, I arrived at GZ and started searching. Many discarded doggy doo bags found here but couldn't find the cache. After about 15mins, sent a message to a previous finder who directed me to search a bit further along than where my GZ was.
Located the cache, signed the log sheet then returned as found. Thanks for the most interesting Ad Lab and final.
(On a side note, was able to help 2 ladies searching for a Sister's grave and was able to point them out thanks to the info from the Ad Lab!)

Al was an interesting tour. Bonus was well concealed but persistence paid off. Thanks
So what are those numbers for - a bonus. Yay. Love it. Took longer than it should have - blame it on the psychology of the previous DNF.
After suffering from some strange ailment my doctor couldn't quite cure, I had the need to be out and about.
I had some business to attend to at Nudgee and spotted the AdLab at the cemetery.
Didn't take long to collect all the information and punch in the final coords for the bonus.
Headed to the compass Point. My luck, the council are here mowing and snipping, so no find for me today.
After reading some previous logs, I think I was slightly off course anyway.
There's always tomorrow.....

2365 - This afternoon I spent a good while walking around the cemetry seeking the answers to the questions I needed for the Adventure Labs and also for this cache, and to also have a look at some of the graves and memorials in this huge cemetry. There sure are some beauties in here. Thanks Simber15 for your work here on the Adventure Labs and for the maintenance on this bonus cache. I found the bonus cache in good condition at 3:40pm.
I was looking for a late afternoon wander and a few caches that have popped up around Nudgee since I last did come caching in this area suited perfectly.
After an enjoyable stroll around the cemetery, I had all the clues needed for the final. I overcomplicated finding it, looking for a difficult style of hide without having checked the more obvious spots first. Got there in the end. Many thanks simber15

Today with nothing planned, decided to do a spot of spook spotting and see if I could get someone to roll over in their grave. Didn't feel the earth move nor did I encounter any ozone / sulphur wafts but I did get a good walk around this resting spot.
Interesting selection of waypoints encountered. Also had a few stops to read a headstones and the odd conversing with the resting souls. Thanks for the AdLab and finale Simber15.

Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.
I had an hour to spare and this my nearest Adventure Lab. I figured out to drive to some of the waypoints. There are some impressive crypts around the edges of this cemetery. Finding the cache was just of spotting it from the right angle

TFTC! Wondering where this could possibly be. However lucky for me, it was the first place I looked.
We finished the AL couple of weeks ago whilst we were waiting for a service of our Jetski.
We searched then for the final cache, but not successfully.
Today we picked up couple of caches around Nudgee Beach, and showed my muggle brother this extraordinary cemetery. Like us before, he was surprised by those different looking graves and couldn't believe it.
After that tour on the cemetery we searched for the cache and found it.

Solved the lab cache here a few weeks ago and was out early this morning to fill a gap in my caching calendar and had the time to pop past and pick up the bonus cache.

We headed out to complete the adventure lab cache and this bonus cache because Princess1005 has newly discovered that she loves cemetery caches.
Before leaving the new geocar (Track my adventures here D78QWZ) we read the description, hint, confirmed the difficulty and terrain, checked we had all the right information and pervious finder logs. DFC was directing us to where we needed to go. Once we got to GZ, we started to walk towards GZ, we were discussing about where this geocache could possibly located. Has these caches have been on our radar for a long time.
Thankfully after a decent search we worked out we were in the incorrect place then we regrouped and after a quick call to the CO because the coordinates were putting us on the inside of the hedges, they soon confirmed where we needed to be looking. Shortly, we the cache in hand, and we added our little ink mark to the logbook.

They say you can’t take it with you but it seems the Italians are having a red hot crack at that here. Finally managed to find this after looking like a goof staring into a hedge. Thanks Simber15 for that.
I headed out here today to do the adventure lab cache here and a few solved puzzles. A fun lab, in an interesting area. I've been here a few times caching, but was nice to have an adventure lab here. TFTC
I was in between family functions and needed a break from screaming seven year old girls. They can be quite shrill. In need of peace and quiet, I headed to this adventure lab. I made my way around the various waypoints answering the questions. Once complete, I had all the information required to find GZ. Once there, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Oh wow, what a crazy good AL!!!! Why can't they all be this good. Those crypts were so interesting and I didn't realise we had them here in Australia. So much history and culture. Have a FP from me.
I completed the Adventure way back in March, but ran out of time to look for this cache…
Today while in the area I parked and walked over to find the cache really quickly… but that was only because it was exposed… I’ve returned it with a little more cover…
And I’m not the first visitor today…

I did the AL back in May but didn’t have time to find the bonus as I had to pick up my son from the airport. Back this way again today. Good to have it off my list. Tftc and AL which was fun.
Some of these crypts are incredible. Was able to get a park right at GZ and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Out with RoddyC in an trip to the other side and picking up a few smiles while in the area.

Had a long walk on the cemetery. Never before I saw so many huge family graves.... Not looking like graves at all.
After finishing the AL, we had only little time to search for the cache, as we had to do a schoolrun. So we have to come back again.

Spending a lovely winters day on the northern side with geo friends and working our way through our to-do list.
After completing all the beaut WP's of the AL, it was lovely to be rewarded with a bonus puzzle. All I can say is wow, wow and how amazing is this extremely well designed resting place. Having grown up in Ingham & Halifax, I used to admire the huge chapel vaults that mainly the Italian families built for their loved ones but this is a whole new level here. Thanks for bringing us here CO, well done and a favourite point from me

Lovely reunion with Tenkae, Domsky and Snickersallan (Team TEDS ️). Signed the logs for the challenge caches in the area, found other caches nearby and a suitable lunch at the Full Moon Restaurant for our lunacy.
Quick find with previous finder.
Thanks for the cache and taking us here Simber15. Cemeteries are not for me, I don't know why it sets off my depression mode. It reminds me of those I dearly loved and lost. Sometimes I prefer to be an Aboriginal person. In their culture, once someone is dead, they will not speak of their names again or even look at photos so their spirit can rest in peace.
Anyhow, my spirit is not, I missed the traditional nearby!

I looked up one side then the other side then back to the first side then the 2nd side again then trued the other one and as I was about to head off like a wombat I saw something… is that? YES it is. Gotchya you sneaky little thing.
We did so enjoy this adventure lab.
We had wondered about the shape of some of the headstones and this meander through the cemetery brought us a lot of information and definitely some education about the hierarchy of the burial of various people here.
The final point along the way in the AL was so interesting and we spent some time looking through the tiny window holes and wondering what the family would be thinking as they had placed this huge space as a burial area.
Mrs Domsky enjoyed practising her Italian as she read out, in a reverential voice, the names of so many of the enormous crypts along the way.
Thanks Simber15. A FP here,

A FP here,
Domsky
Spend an interesting time checking out this area for the AL some weeks back. Today out on the new bike I looped back this way after a spinm to Redcliffe. Cache tucked away safe and sound.

Found my self on the north side this afternoon. Made this for this lab and final.
Interesting tour of the grounds and a final that was easy to find.
Thank you for hiding this geocache

In what has become a rare occurence in COVID times, I was headed to the airport this morning for a work trip around the country. The journey from home to the airport naturally required a wee detour and a couple of icons to add more cheer to the morning.
I made my way through the labs and gleaned the all important information to secure this cache. As I planned my lab run such that I was at the furthest possible point when I calculated the final coords, I had to backtrack to GZ, but it turned out I had to head that way anyway, so that worked out well. [^]
On arrival, a muggle car was parked within 5m of the hiding spot. Hmm, great I thought. I scanned the vehicle as I moved in, no occupant. I scanned the surrounding area a good 3-4 times looking for the owner, no muggle presence that I could see. OK, let's go... [^]
I did an Ozzie Ostrich impression (kids will probably have to google that) and stuck my head into GZ, where the container was swiftly spotted. Great coords... I extracted the log, added my name and returned as found. All done, airport bound was I.
Cheers Simber15.

First AL and Puzzle with the crew. Wonderful to be rambling around our 'hood! TFTC
I was attending an Anglican-Catholic clergy conference nearby today (yes, I’m clergy and I bet I’m the only finder of this cache who was wearing clergy gear at the time) and so I took quite an interest in this cache and the AL itself.
I’ve been here before for other caches, but it was nice to be back.
I was running a bit short on time and as I headed towards the ‘odd one out’, it looked like it would be hard to get there in a hurry. Instead I decided to turn around and see if I had enough info for a find.
The short answer is: yes, I did. TFTC where the log is still in good nick and thanks for supplying a bonus cache which is always appreciated.

After completing the AL and gathering all the information, we arrived near the GZ and after a short stroll, started our search. Searched for quite a bit and just before we were about to give up, the sneaky hide was spotted .

Family day out. Tagged along for the bonus after the others followed the hints with the phones.
took a few goes at one of the wp's to get the right words
nice family day out
there was a burial and wake for a very small child on today
we weren't near but could see from the distance
poor family

Today, after spending the morning performing some house unpacking, I decided to spend the afternoon around Nudgee and Nudgee Beach. My first visit was Nudgee Cemetery & Crematorium, targeting the * Nudgee Resting * Adventure Lab, and then I subsequently went for a run around Nudgee Waterhole Reserve. My final visit was to Nudgee Beach and the nearby wetlands, completing the *NUDGEE BEACH TREASURE* Adventure Lab. A few great areas, with the beach fairly busy with fishing and recreation activities.
I found the Adventure Lab (AL) pretty interesting, and quite a unique cemetery with the various crypts and sections around. So in the end, i thought it as a good choice for an Adventure Lab to tour around some of the interesting parts. Once the AL was completed, I assembled the coordinates for this bonus cache, and parked just close to GZ. After a short search, I managed to find the cache nestled away. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Simber15 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Well this was an interesting wander around the cemetery. Never really saw one like this with all the crypts. Had some trouble with one waypoint getting the right words in order but otherwise it was all pretty straight forward!
Thanks Simber15 for the lab series and bonus cache!

Catching up on late logs.
We were up here to attend the Daybro Mega event but the weather was not very kind to us so we decided to concentrate on Adventure Labs and any thing else that was near by.
We enjoy looking around cemeteries and are getting a good guided tour today with two labs. Again we really enjoyed this tour to different resting places and learning a bit of local history.
Again at the end of the Lab we were rewarded with a set of coordinates for this bonus.
We headed off to GZ where it took us a few minutes before the container was spotted and our name added to the log book.
Many thanks again Simber15 for the Adventure Lab and this bonus.

We finished the AL and realised that the bonus wasn't far away. I was a little worried as we got nearer as there was a funeral taking place. Thankfully, we didn't need to be anywhere near them. Thanks for the AL and this bonus.
After finishing the AL, we decided to have a quick look for the bonus. Whilst driving around and getting the needed information, we were surprised at how elaborate some of the mausoleums are. Not something that we have seen before and we have been to a lot of cemeteries. We needed to work out where the final was going to be as there was a funeral taking place not far away. Once working out where GZ was, we realised that we wouldn't be impinging and made a quick find. Thanks for the cache.
I completed the lab cache awhile ago and been wanting to get back to find this bonus. I know nudgee cemetery well as I often walk my dog here but I discovered alot more doing the lab cache. I really enjoyed it and to get a bonus aswell , how good is that. At gz I thought I was going to really struggle to find the cache but I got really lucky and found it in under 5 minutes. Thankyou for all the fun. Giving it a FP FOR all the fun
Really enjoyed the tour today. Wandered around in the rain with my mum. Apparently we have rellies somewhere here. Thanks very much!
Did the Adventure Lab last week but didn't get this one as I went in the other direction after I finished visiting all the WPs. I found it very interesting as I visited all WPs then did my final calculations to find as I was going to the Mega. Found cache after getting a few jabs as I was searching, signed the log and replaced cache and found. TFTC
I had done the AL series and then after doing the required calculations I had a set of coordinates that looked reasonable and headed there. I searched around for 15 minutes but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack so I made a PAF call which narrowed down the search area but it still took me a bit of searching before located the cache.

Out for a solo run in the drizzle collecting some ALs and geocaches.
I had a great wander around the cemetery collecting the AL. Some of those vaults are impressive. All the numbers came together neatly. I searched at GZ for quite a while, but when a funeral procession came in I called a PAF, and shortly had the cache in hand. TFTC, Simber15.

Mrs VC chose a few more ALs for us to chase down today & most had a bonus cache to add another smilie.
This was smilie #6 of 29 collected today.
After quickly collecting the necessary information we headed for GZ where it took about 5 minutes to locate the cache.
All good here where all was quiet today.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

Today was my push to 5000 finds. I needed 29 finds for today. The break down was 22 mystery, Traditional, multi and Adventure Lab with 5 waypoints.
Lots of walking done and bit of fishing done. Did love the drive around the cemetery.
I did have lots of fun.
Sorry for the generic log

After visiting the waypoints and checking out the amazing respect some cultures have for their loved ones, I was sitting in the car working out the finals and got a honk from behind. Turns out I was blocking a one way street which I thought was totally unused, but I was wrong!
A short drive and approached GZ. Took quite a while to find the well concealed container, but persistence paid off.

Thanks Simber15 for giving us a reason to visit.

I am very happy to turn the frown into a smile thanks to some very much appreciated help from the CO. I doubt I would have found it otherwise. It's well hidden and cammoed. Thanks again Simber15 and giving a fav point for the enjoyment.
After the joy of completing my first Adventure Lab and getting a green tick in the checker now the disappointment of a DNF at the bonus. I have searched 3 days in a row as this is on my morning walk so maybe as it’s 6am my caching brain and eyes are not quite awake yet. I did enjoy the Ad Lab and I will keep looking as I go past. Thanks.
