another beautiful spot. the path is temporarily closed so just be careful when scouting this area
We are staying down in the area for a few days for our anniversary. We had lunch in Queenscliff then found some caches on the way to the accommodation. in Point Lonsdale. After checking in and having a bit of a rest we decided to make the most of what was left of the daylight so decided to head outfor some more caches to get our step count up! We had tried to do this one earlier in the day but GZ was very busy so we decided to leave it for a quieter time. We came back at just before 7pm and the cache was a pretty easy find. You do not need to go past the "Do Not Enter" sign so the cache doesn not need to be disabled. TFTC juc_cacher - GJMMelb
The stairs are officially closed, but I jumped over and made the find quickly. Tftc.
Spring Victorian Incursion 2024.Day Twelve: Geelong and Queenscliff(e).Weather: perfect for geocaching. I have cached Queenscliff twice before, but I missed out on the original here. Unsurprising if it was a tricky puzzle. I like this incarnation; it works for me. Thanks for this hide juc_cacher.
After spending the night in Melbourne, we decided to come down the coast so I could finish off a challenge I have been working on. There were great views of the ocean from this spot and I made an easy find.
Great day to be in the area today.Storms are rolling in but far enough away for me to complete a few missions today. This was one of these. The muggles enjoying the view were none the wiser as I signed the log!TFTC
Had tried this one previously with no luck. A quick find today however. New log is required
Nice quick one today as theres very few muggles about! Found with FairyDust01 our first for today, hopefully we find a few more. Thanks
First physical find today and a new LGA ticked off the list. Logbook is almost full. TN, left a pathtag. TFTC
Found It............After finishing lunch we decided to head down this direction to see what caches we could find. After parking the Geo Truck we wandered over to GZ where the discussion of how to use the hint but after Mr H_3 went with his idea and came up empty handed it was Mrs H_3 who came up with the goods. So with the log signed and container returned to its hiding spot we continued our journey. Thanks juc cacher for the cache
Great view. Luckily hardly any muggles around, must have picked a good time.Took longer than it should but eventually had the cache in my hand and a smiley.Down here for the weekend from Melbourne and going on the Blues Train tonight.
Had plenty of time to suss out where this one might be as we waited for the multitudes of muggles here to leave.Had the same problem when putting it back.So many great places to check the sea in this area and this is one of them.Thanks.
A bit windy and wild, but hey ! what else is new ? Found this one quick enough before the hoards arrived this Saturday morning. All good at GZ. TFTC juc cacher.
We had such a great time in Ballarat over the weekend we decided to extend it out and head down to the Bellarine Peninsula to try our luck at a few adventure labs and anything else that came up close. It was a fairly successful day with only two Dnf's,We were actually doing a stage of an adventure lab here and soon as we pulled up we recognised the area as we had been here before looking for a previous cache that was hidden here but we were smuggled out so we really wanted to find this one. There were a few muggles here watching the Spirit of Tasmania coming in through the heads but happily they all departed after it had got through and we were free to search. Happily with good co-ords and not a lot of places to hide the well hidden cache was located quickly and our name has been added to the log. Thanks juc_cacher for the nice hide in a lovely spot.
Thought we were no chance with so many muggles around including three people set up nearby with telescopes and binoculars. Amazing we went unnoticed and I quickly had my hand on the cache. Nice hide, beautiful spot. TFTC
Youre rightabout that! A nice quick find thank goodness, heaps of muggles around, in fact 3 were standing only a couple of metres from us but didnt even notice what we were doing TFTC
Amazing Spot, searched for a while then went to the obvioud spot and found it
Day 2 in Melbourne and great ocean road is on the agenda, managed to stop at all the major vantage points and snag a few traditional, earth caches and virtuals. Thanks for a great day out.
Out and about again, day 2 in Melbourne with muggle geo-son. Did heaps of km and ticking off a few LGAs. Had a couple LGAs we wasted a lot of time on and still didnt find one.Had dinner in Geelong and headed back - pretty late.Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds todayThanks to all the COs for the hides I found.
Lovely view from this cache location. Quickly had this cache in hand and signed.TFTC
We found Nearly as Bonza ! on our wedding anniversary caching tour.A quick find of a well hidden cache Thanks juc_cacher for hiding this cache so that we could come and enjoy ourselves
came here to see some family friends, got a couple more caches before we went out to get dinner. after waiting around for 2 hours, talking and doing who knows what. we left to go on this long anticipated beach walk. we got up to the lighthouse and my grandmother (the one who suggested the walk) innocently said "we're not going onto the beach are we?". i suppose not. we did end up deciding to go on a record short walk above the beach to hide her away from the wind. i collected 2 caches on my walk.i liked this one alot and ended up walking directly past it because of how distracted i was by the beautiful view. thankyou for the cache.
A whole four day trip with Aquilus1 to do the GeoTour in Ballarat some caching around Geelong and anything else that looked good on the way.
Weather was ok albeit a bit on the wet side for the first two days. Now on day 3 the weather is bice and sunny and we are pressing on with the last few Geotour caches on the way out and driving towards Queenscliff.
This cache was one of the ones we had the oportunity to do.
A nice cache here!
Thank you juc_cacher for the nice cache and experience you gave us!

This cache was one found on a trip away with Flintstone's for 4 days. We had the Geotour in Ballarat as our target, and made our way as far as Queenscliff.
Ballarat caching was a joy, and with the tour, we saw many lovely and interesting locations as well as stopping for many other caches as we passed. Lots of little walks helped with the colder first few days as well as being quite scenic.
A change of weather and scenery towards Queenscliff but the coast was a great place to visit with plenty to do and see. As always, more to do than there was time for, will just have to return one day! Thank you for your cache!
Great spot, love the views!

Found with sharkiefan.
Our plan of the day was the CITOs in Geelong and Point Lonsdale and to catch up with suss vulture and robmc to walk the Bollards Ad Labs and to grab the odd caches we come across.
An interesting little find, like others before us, during the CITO.

Pulled up to admire the view before heading to the nearby CITO today. It was a nice quick find with no muggles around. Ripper views too.
Thanks for placing the cache juc_cacher.

Always a good day when out caching and finding them. A few muggles meant stealth was required.

Checked into Pt Lonsdale Hotel for 2 nights. After a wee cuppa I came out for a walk whilst my teenager opted to stay in the hotel. A fabulous winter's evening after very heavy rain at home & I had the area to myself. I love listening to the ocean. Nice hide. Very many thanks
Last find of the day after a local AdLab & before some car camping close by. A busy day so a QEF was appreciated. TNLN-TFTC!

In the back with the staffy after the cleanup at Limeburners Point...
After a detour to Point Henry, n0w0rries' next target was an Adventure Lab down the pointy end of the peninsula.
Which put us right... here.
Pinpoint coordinates, juc_cacher... I stood and asked myself where I'd hide one, and it's exactly where I found the cache. Love your work.

A quick find since the coordinates were right on.
Found with +Wife after attending the CITO in Geelong.
I have a Virtual Rewards cache that you can almost see from here, if only that huge container ship and Pilot boat would get moving!

Up early for sunrise after an overnight stay nearby. Sunrise was a non-event, but the cache wasn’t.
Found, dropped, retrieved, log signed & safely returned to its hiding spot.

Not a soul around this morning made things easier.
My partner had his hot little paws on this one first.
He was like a cat on a hot tin roof, as we were about to jump out of a perfectly goon aeroplane this morning on a lovely day soaking up the coast.
Cache was found in good condition. Thank you juc_cacher for showing us the sights .

Yep just before we jumped.
The big day had arrived and catnap777 and I were just a couple of hours away from our scheduled jump time at Skydive Australia at Barwon Heads. [^] Plenty of time for just one or two caches on the way to the Drop Zone.
Not sure what the original D rating on the Rallywrxwagon version of this cache was, but it seems a 3 on this one is fairly generous too. Mind you, we had the whole place pretty much to ourselves on our visit to GZ.

Found whilst doing the Adlab we found it on the ground so replaced where we think it should be
I remember taking a couple of attempts to find the old version of this because it was just so hard to find a time when nobody was around. Today, even though we're in the middle of summer we had gz largely to ourselves which allowed us to make the quick find. Thanks for the cache juc_cacher.
Down in Queenscliff to visit family for Christmas.
Out for an afternoon cache while the family swim at the beach. This has been our holiday destination since I was a child and it’s a joy finding local caches in this area.
Cheers

Off for a weekend holiday in the Bellarine Peninsula area. The plan is to do an "O" Parkrun and collect some geocaches in Queenscliff. That will almost complete our Parkrun Alphabet and give us another Geocaching LGA. That mission was completed today with these geocaches. Now for the next mission, collect more smiley faces.
Had the face to ourselves as most of the people in the area seemed to be near the pier fussing on the bride. But just as we started searching, the cars started pulling in. As such we went down to the lookout. Heading back up to the car park, we saw the container sticking out too much. Signed and returned out of view.
Thanks for the cache Juc Cachers

Playing tourist with a friend, we visited this view, and found the cache quite well. Not too many muggles around, so no problem there. Can see that might be an issue in high traffic.

Stealth required for this one but we managed to retrieve and return it without being seen, nice spot for a cache.

We headed to Ocean Grove today as I need to pick up a wheel rim that I had purchased so once this was done we headed to Pt Lonsdale for a look around as we have never been here before. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the area is although I don't think I would have the same view during holiday times! The weather was a tad overcast today but that didn't deter from the fantastic views from here and primed us for another visit in the future on a sunnier day.
Anyway we surreptitiously managed to extract the cache and return it even with muggles parked close by - a task we would imagine would be infinitely more difficult with more people around. We grabbed the TB that had been left here as well!

A quick find but lots of muggles. Took A TB and left one I brought from London two days ago.
Too many muggles about today, just as one lot would leave another would pop up. Will try again another day, when it’s not the weekend
