Yay we found it

This was near one that we were hunting for a FTF and we stopped here for a quick find for Mrs Shifter while Mr Shifter waited in the car.Thanks for the hide Whitey Wiskas.

Our final day in Tamworth before we need to move on, so we decided to clean up some remaining caches close to town as there was rain predicted for the early afternoon. As predicted, it arrived but not before we had found a variety of trads, multis and puzzles as well as tree fishing caches relatively newly published. It was a day with some good variety but also a few DNFs.Thank you to the cachers of Tamworth for an enjoyable and productive time here.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Whitey Wiskas.**SKI Pair****

On my second day in Tamworth decided to venture out into the country area and enjoyed the scenery with all the small farming lots and finding caches along the way. Thanks for this cache.

We followed the phone and before too long could see the hide. I told my wife that I would walk around to grab it but she had other ideas. Instead of taking the T1.0 way she seemed hell bent on turning it into a T3.0. She pushed her way through a dead spiky bush while I just looked in admiration and amazement (and while I laughed my arse off). tftc

This is one of the caches we targeted and found thankyou for giving us the opportunity to explore. We are now heading home to Queensland after attending the Wangaratta event .

Well just so you know, some strength, more than you’d expect, is required here to be able to sign the log. For the CO - the shrub at GZ has carked it making the hide more visible. Thanks for placing it here. The area around Tamworth appears to be growing and prospering and it has been good to see these new developments. (Just between you and me, I think they need better ink on their street signs. They are not weathering well).

Sorted thru and solved puzzles yesterday when it was raining. Took a drive this morning to do some searching. Logged around 25 finds incl trads and a letterbox.

Our last day in Tamworth, we decided to head to the new housing area of Windmill.
What a good playground for the ovals, noticed 3 mothers with toddlers comming to enjoy the park as we left.

We are obviously not tuned in to children’s playgrounds as it took longer than expected. No one playing nearby so fortunately we had loads of time to look without looking suspicious. We needed the time. TFTC

The children had a great time finding their Great Grandpa’s Geocache.

TFTC. We are camped at Tamworth on our way to the Mega in Dayboro. We decided to spend a few hours searching for caches around Hallsville before visiting friends in town. All caches were found in good order and co-ords were good. A good day 31 finds and two we did not find due to other reasons , so not logging as a DNF.

As it was the first fine day today for quite a while, we set off to head north with ilook4geo, on a trip that had been delayed from last week.
The caches in this area had been published for some weeks but there were no found logs yet, so we hoped for some (FTF) caches. Woohoo! On opening the log we were greeted by a nice new blank page and are happy to claim a joint (FTF). There was a muggle parent and kid in the playground, but that was not a problem. Thanks go to Whitey Wiskas for the cache placement and for the FTF opportunity.

On a caching trip with goingplaces2 and managed a (FTF) here. Signed log, replaced and continued the hunt. TFTC.
