On a maintenance trip from Port Sorell to Stanley, and now while walking the Teto track, it was found at this one is in good condition.
The Kings Birthday long weekend caching trip to Stanley is now in the second day. Today we found your cache whilst cleaning out the areas around Stanley and Smithton. An early start for us today and we found this cache at 05:37. Thanks Angus88 for placing Steven for us to find today. This brings my find count to 4885.
Swampy and I decided to visit Stanley with the aim of adding Pine Nut (GC52EF) to my list of oldest caches found. After an excellent trip, visiting the Hydro Power Trail along the way, we continued heading North West caching as we went. We found many different type of hides, cache containers and conditions. We fixed what was needed and replaced as found. What they all had in common was getting 2 geeks outside for some exercise. This find, Steven, brings my total to 1663 and was found at 05:37 on 8/6/2024.Thanks Angus88 for playing the game and giving us another reason to visit this area. Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
On the line didnt talk today. It was found that there has been a small fire here. A small amount of melting has occurred to the shape of the geocache but all in all it is still in good condition.
Thanks Angus88 for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 1,045 for us We are traveling Australia full time in a Coaster Bus and of course grabbing some caches along the way. [Feel free to follow our journey HERE...](https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth)
Everything here made me bleed. Clearly I was in the wrong place. Eventually found itTFTC TNLN
Today we headed out to find all the S name caches along the trail and beach, Nut ones hopefully tomorrow. It was a little bit windy but otherwise a perfect afternoon for a walk. My nephew his Steven he is a cool dude. Quick find and sign TFTC Angus
The CO is on a maintenance trip from Latrobe along the north coast and then down the West Coast to Corinna. Today it is the Stanley Tetlow Track hike after doing The Nut caches yesterday. Steven was found to be in excellent condition so no action required.
Yep there it was. The rain is continuing to keep us helmeted .But the walk is well worth it.
Quick find here! I don’t think we have much time left before the rain

We failed to find this one yesterday. It looks like there's been recent work in the area by the council tidying up, prunning and planting new bushes. We contacted the owner, she verified this was where it should have been. We have placed a replacement cache, Glad to now have the Full house of caches at Stanley, Thanks to Steven my namesake.
Day 5 of our Tassie tour. I had a lazy day yesterday and didn't drive anywhere. So today was up before dawn and out getting some of this series before we leave the Queenstown at 9.
Megawat60 are in Stanley and enjoying the walk after lunch! Quickly spotted thanks to good hint. TFTC!
Out ‘n about with m4yb grabbing a few caches.
Nice quick find for her.
Thanks for the hide and smiley. Angus88

Courtney rose Nettie knows too busy talking walked past pulled up by gridge98. Cache found! TFTC
A great walk along the beach with icybeetas, nettieknows and gridge98 on our getaway in Stanley. TFTC.
Steven was quickly located and with log signed replaced. So far a few muggles have been on the track but fortunately none any where when we have been in the location of the various caches.
This morning after my event on the water Courtneyrose_, nettieknows, Icybeestas and I made our way along the coastal walking trail then back along the beach over 2 hours to complete the lovely walking trail. All the caches were found in good condition and are all good.
Thanks for the cache

Maintenance run today. Stephen was indeed missing in action. He has now been replaced and sitting on the shelf.
Took 2 passes to search for this and just couldn't spot it... Saw something that MAY have been a cache, but didn't want to fight the prickly branches to check.
Steven was found and to be safe and sound on a maintenance run of the Tatlow track on 1st July 2022.
Was having too much fun and walked straight past. Had to turn round and come back for an easy find
Found, our last one as we are running put of time, loved Stanley hopefully be back, tftc
Great spot looks like we need to stop rain starting try to do more tomorrow. AnsMisty
Finding Steven was a bit more challenging than the others in this series. We spent too long looking in the sneaky place we would have hidden it instead of using the GPS and the given coordinates.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We are in Stanley for a wee break away, but the real purpose of course is to log the veritable forest of new caches which have appeared since our last visit. Wind is strong east-nor'easter so we chose to do the walking trail on bikes where it is relatively sheltered. Sailed along the beach with the wind behind us, and logged the rest of the caches on the way back. This one took way longer than it should have, almost giving up several times, but it was a good spot to watch a massive cavalcade of classic motorcycles cruise into town. TFTC.
Found by Peter and Marian at 1300hrs, on a nice stroll along the Tatlows beach track, TNLN TFTC.
Checked. Steven is safe and secure. Some-one mentioned blackberries. Steven is not near the blackberries.
We were visiting Stanley for the day and thought we would try and collect all of the Stanley caches. We looked around the spot for a while before realizing where the cache was. TFTC
For this S series of cache Geo Kid O and myself went different ways. I went along the path, and Geo Kid O went along the beach and then we met where the path comes back up to the main path. Only one DNF among these caches (Which was not the caches fault) which was surprising as some are tricky hides

3 days off from work, and Geo Kid O joined me on a journey to Stanley and then down along the western explorer road towards Corinna. We have a great time finding a number of caches and driving a road I had not travelled on before.
The Western Explorer road was closed for a while and recently had been reopened with a new bridge near Balfour. Some very interesting sights along the way, with part of the road feeling more like a forest track, and other parts felt like a place where no one else has gone in the past, other than on the road. The open button grass plains were amazing along with the mountain views.
We stayed in Stanely, and the caches in and around Stanely were very good, including one walk to the top of the Nut. Gee that is a steep 400 metre walk.
Thank you for the cache which was part of our journey

Ok... 20 or so caches with S names are to be found so i decided on the Anti-Clockwise way, then along the beach on my way back. The wind was gonna be an issue with water pouring outta my cold-wind-sensitive eyes so i was gonna need more time than usual.
Easy does it, was the order of the day for me Probably a good thing coz it means i will slow down and DNF's are less likely to happen.
Bring on the good ol' windy days ha ha
Steven was found and it's dry log was signed at 12:04 on Wednesday 13 October 2021.

This series of caches, all very close to home, has been saying "find me, find me" for some time, so today, with the tide right and overcast skies producing occasional drizzle, enough to deter the muggles, I set off. I attacked them in the opposite order to suggested, so there was a bit of confusion when RHS was actually LHS, but otherwise, thanks to clear directions and hints most of them (1 DNF) were soon found, signed and replaced as found. All were in good condition and it was nice to find a variety of containers and hides. There were just one or two dog walking muggles on the beach and no one at all on the other track or playing golf. It was a very pleasant walk, with wonderful scenery all the way, but I was pleased to finally make it home just as night was falling and treat myself to a comfortable chair and a lovely hot cup of coffee.
Many thanks to Angus88 for creating and maintaining this series, and I will give them all favourites for the wonderful area you have placed them in.

We are spending a long weekend in the beautiful township of Stanley and exploring the area and enjoying the broader North West coast. Of course geocaching is also on our mind and we are looking forward to collecting as many of the new and previously outstanding caches as possible over the next few days.
The weather was quite showery and blustery today After a nice late breakfast we decided to tackle the Nut first. The bonus of the weather was that there were lots of rainbows, even some double rainbows throughout our walk which just added to the amazing vistas.
After lunch we tackled the Tatlows Beach Loop and collected all the caches along the way. Things of note were pesky muggles for the first few caches so we had to come back to them; needed to be aware of golfing muggles along the golf course stretch the ones who’s balls had strayed came quite close to the track; there was a wonderful array of bird life around; once back onto the beach side the wind dropped the sun came out and it was glorious.
Thank you Angus88 for placing and maintaining all these caches in Stanley . A favourite point for the series from us.

CO maintenance run. Stephen is sitting safely and snuggly in his spot like a little bird in its nest. Good condition.
out and about with Lil Rafa caching for my holidays in the north and north west, TFTC TNLN log dry, a pity we only had so much time in this lovely area, lots of things we could have done.
a lovely day we were blessed with good weather again.

Thanks for the cache Angus88.
In Stanley for a couple of nights with RLD4963. It was a gorgeous sunny day today, so we were keen to tackle the caches on the Tatlow's loop. A couple of DNF's but it was such a gorgeous morning, thoroughly enjoyed our walk today.
This took a little while.
Thanks for placing this series along this wonderful track.
