Logs
On a maintenance trip from Port Sorell to Stanley, and now on the Tetlow walk, it was found at this one is in good order.
The Kings Birthday long weekend caching trip to Stanley is now in the second day. Today we found your cache whilst cleaning out the areas around Stanley and Smithton. An early start for us today and we found this cache at 05:22. Thanks Angus88 for placing Scott for us to find today. This brings my find count to 4881.
Swampy and I decided to visit Stanley with the aim of adding Pine Nut (GC52EF) to my list of oldest caches found. After an excellent trip, visiting the Hydro Power Trail along the way, we continued heading North West caching as we went. We found many different type of hides, cache containers and conditions. We fixed what was needed and replaced as found. What they all had in common was getting 2 geeks outside for some exercise. This find, Scott, brings my total to 1659 and was found at 05:22 on 8/6/2024.Thanks Angus88 for playing the game and giving us another reason to visit this area. Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Thanks Angus88 for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 1,041 for us We are traveling Australia full time in a Coaster Bus and of course grabbing some caches along the way. [Feel free to follow our journey HERE...](https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth)
Today we headed out to find all the S name caches along the trail and beach, Nut ones hopefully tomorrow. It was a little bit windy but otherwise a perfect afternoon for a walk. Quick easy find and sign TFTC Angus
The CO is on a maintenance trip from Latrobe along the north coast and then down the West Coast to Corinna. Today it is the Stanley Tetlow Track hike after doing The Nut caches yesterday. I could not find this one. According to the last log, it shouldve been on the ground, but I could not find it. Scott therefore has been replaced with a new hanger and a new log.
Last one for the evening walk before returning to the caravan to prepare dinner. Located quickly. Thanks for the hide Angus88.
On a maintenance hike on the Tatlow track on a blustery, cold, damp day. Scott now has a new log.
Walking in the sunshine, with a blustery wind whipping up the waves this morning. Thanks Angus88 for adding to our enjoyment walking along this trail.
Whenever I hear this name the little voice in my head says “Scott nothing to do with you!”
Why, I have no idea but it cracks me up every time
Today I moved my house on wheels to this lovely new location where I decided to catch up with a few of the boys.
Shane, Sebastian, Sheldon and Scott were all easily located but after Scott the heavens opened and I had to make a mad dash back to some trees for shelter before heading home to dry out! Tomorrow I will see if I can catch up to the rest of the boys
Brilliant idea for cache names around Stanley.

It is apparent that Scott has been the victim of mowing. It will be replaced as soon as possible.
When we started our Launceston holiday 5 days ago is was wet, cold, miserable, more cold, a little bit freezing and then a bout of cold on top of cold. We came prepared for a week of these conditions so it was a pleasant surprise to find ourselves out walking The Nut and then this trail in just our tee-shirts.
We had our jumpers tied around our waist like it was a 1980’s fashion statement just in case, but they never got the call up. However there is just that time of the day when the sun starts to disappear and the shadows get longer when the temperature can lose a few degrees faster than you can lose your inhibitions after a few Pinots. It was getting close to that time. tftc

No golfers to slow us down here. A quick find by Mrs Beetle while Mr Beetle tested out his new bike bell.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We are in Stanley for a wee break away, but the real purpose of course is to log the veritable forest of new caches which have appeared since our last visit. Wind is strong east-nor'easter so we chose to do the walking trail on bikes where it is relatively sheltered. Sailed along the beach with the wind behind us, and logged most of the caches on the way back. Good container for this location.
Spent a while looking for this one yesterday a d earlier.
One last try and walked straight to it
My pen has gone missing

Lucky that the description/hint and coords were good because it would otherwise be almost impossible to find this one. The cache was actually upside down with a lot of mess inside. Cleared out as best as possible and replaced the right side up. TFTC.
We were visiting Stanley for the day and thought we would try and collect all of the Stanley caches. A quick easy find with the hint helping. TFTC
Despite being the largest of the morning this took the longest to find though still only a couple of minutes. Thanks for the caches to get us out on a morning walk
