A quick find and a previous DNF now ticked off. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
On a maintenance trip between Port Sorell and Stanley, and now a walk on the Tetlow track, it was found at this one was in good condition.
Thanks. Nice find. Container had water insideemptied and dried as much as we could.
The Kings Birthday long weekend caching trip to Stanley is now in the second day. Today we found your cache whilst cleaning out the areas around Stanley and Smithton. An early start for us today and we found this cache at 05:17. Thanks Angus88 for placing Sheldon for us to find today. This brings my find count to 4880.
Swampy and I decided to visit Stanley with the aim of adding Pine Nut (GC52EF) to my list of oldest caches found. After an excellent trip, visiting the Hydro Power Trail along the way, we continued heading North West caching as we went. We found many different type of hides, cache containers and conditions. We fixed what was needed and replaced as found. What they all had in common was getting 2 geeks outside for some exercise. This find, Sheldon, brings my total to 1658 and was found at 05:17 on 8/6/2024.Thanks Angus88 for playing the game and giving us another reason to visit this area. Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Thanks for the cache Angus88.I did a look of the Tatlow's track and beach a few years ago, and at the time I missed a few caches in this series. This was one of them, so I was keen to see if I could find it today. This time, I wasn't in a hurry, took my time and a short search revealed the cache in it's nice snug hidey hole.
Thanks Angus88 for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 1,040 for us We are traveling Australia full time in a Coaster Bus and of course grabbing some caches along the way. [Feel free to follow our journey HERE...](https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth)
Today we headed out to find all the S name caches along the trail and beach, Nut ones hopefully tomorrow. It was a little bit windy but otherwise a perfect afternoon for a walk. Perfect spot to hide a cache TFTC Angus
With an unexpected free day we decided to go back along the coast to try for a few caches we didn't have time for last week when we were down this way. We managed to find all the ones we targeted and for two of them we were FTF. We had DNF'd this one nearly 3 years ago so good to finally get a smiley, TFTC
The CO is on a maintenance trip from Latrobe along the north coast and then down the West Coast to Corinna. Today it is the Stanley Tetlow Track hike after doing The Nut caches yesterday. Sheldon was found to be in fine condition however, it has been replaced with a slightly larger Geocache that has some swaps. Therefore now also has a new log.
Another one in this series that Mrs Shifter made harder than it was. She looked in the correct place first, just not well enough as when she returned and dug deeper in the leaf litter the container was located. Thanks for the cache Angus88.
Hiking the Tatlow track on a maintenance run in stormy conditions. All is good here.
Walking in the sunshine, with a blustery wind whipping up the waves this morning. Thanks Angus88 for adding to our enjoyment walking along this trail.
Sheldon - The Big Bang Theory - I actually worked with a guy like him. Sometimes it could be hilarious and other times very frustrating.
Today I moved my house on wheels to this lovely new location where I decided to catch up with a few of the boys.
Shane, Sebastian, Sheldon and Scott were all easily located but after Scott the heavens opened and I had to make a mad dash back to some trees for shelter before heading home to dry out! Tomorrow I will see if I can catch up to the rest of the boys
Brilliant idea for cache names around Stanley.

A quick find. After event caching with icybeetas, gridge98 and Courneyrose_ we decided to do the coastal walking trail caches. Definitely a group effort finding all these. TFTC
A great walk along the beach with icybeetas, nettieknows and gridge98 on our getaway in Stanley. TFTC.
On a pleasant 2 hour return walk Sheldon was, due to accurate coordinates and useful hint, another quick find.
This morning after my event on the water Courtneyrose_, nettieknows, Icybeestas and I made our way along the coastal walking trail then back along the beach over 2 hours to complete the lovely walking trail. All the caches were found in good condition and are all good.
Thanks for the cache

We had made the decision to walk out as far as could fit in and pick the hides up on the way back. If you are ever on a trail and find caches on the way out, the walk back always seems to take for ever and you can never remember walking that far.
We were really taken in by the purple flowered plants on the trail. Not sure if they are native, ring-ins or weeds but they do look pretty. They look like a group of Marg Simpson’s. tftc

Got another one. Having a great time with these along the track with the kids. Thanks

Just jogged past... so no pen, sadly. Will come back.
Or, I took a photo. But I don't want to ruin it for others.

Mr Beetle with the GPS in hand was looking in the wrong spot here. I rode a few metres further and pulled up right next to this one. Sometimes common sense prevails.
Thanks.
Thanks.
We are in Stanley for a wee break away, but the real purpose of course is to log the veritable forest of new caches which have appeared since our last visit. Wind is strong east-nor'easter so we chose to do the walking trail on bikes where it is relatively sheltered. Sailed along the beach with the wind behind us, and logged most of the caches on the way back. Sheldon should remain high and dry at this location. TFTC.
TFTC Cache in place and good condition took a couple of minutes longer than expected as was getting dark and my shoulder level wasn’t quite at the right height to begin with
Enjoying the walk to find these caches on a beautiful sunny day; however I am finding it a little awkward juggling the multiple containers with the inner one for the log. TFTC.
