On a maintenance trip between Port Sorell and Stanley and now I walk on the Teto track, it was founded this one was in good order.
Finally found one of these caches, TFTC much joy. The dog helped sign the logbook and we quickly left before muggles found us
The Kings Birthday long weekend caching trip to Stanley is now in the second day. Today we found your cache whilst cleaning out the areas around Stanley and Smithton. An early start for us today and we found this cache at 05:12. Thanks Angus88 for placing Sebastian for us to find today. This brings my find count to 4879.
Swampy and I decided to visit Stanley with the aim of adding Pine Nut (GC52EF) to my list of oldest caches found. After an excellent trip, visiting the Hydro Power Trail along the way, we continued heading North West caching as we went. We found many different type of hides, cache containers and conditions. We fixed what was needed and replaced as found. What they all had in common was getting 2 geeks outside for some exercise. This find, Sebastian, brings my total to 1657 and was found at 05:12 on 8/6/2024.Thanks Angus88 for playing the game and giving us another reason to visit this area. Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Thanks Angus88 for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 1,039 for us We are traveling Australia full time in a Coaster Bus and of course grabbing some caches along the way. [Feel free to follow our journey HERE...](https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth)
So it took a while. The description is incorrect. It's not 20m off the track and not hanging.
Today we headed out to find all the S name caches along the trail and beach, Nut ones hopefully tomorrow. It was a little bit windy but otherwise a perfect afternoon for a walk. I think the hint needs an update its a poster now. TFTC Angus, great little series
The CO is on a maintenance trip from Latrobe along the north coast and then down the West Coast to Corinna. Today it is the Stanley Tetlow Track hike after doing The Nut caches yesterday. Sebastian was found to be in excellent condition so no action required.

This took quite awhile. Was looking for a hanger but this was found on the ground. I reattached to a branch above where I found it. Hope this is the right spot. Tftc.
This one took so much longer than it should have. Mrs Shifter made it much harder than it was, nearly gave up and then spotted it when about to give up and move on.Thanks for the hide Angus88.
Hiking the Tatlow track on a maintenance run. Stormy conditions. Sebastian has a new log. Please close container securely to avoid water getting in.
Missed this on our way out. Had to turn back because the light is going. Had another look. And suddenly there it was.
Had to come back and reclaim a smiley on this one as we didn’t find it on our way round the first time!

Can’t say I’ve ever met a Sebastian.
Today I moved my house on wheels to this lovely new location where I decided to catch up with a few of the boys.
Shane, Sebastian, Sheldon and Scott were all easily located but after Scott the heavens opened and I had to make a mad dash back to some trees for shelter before heading home to dry out! Tomorrow I will see if I can catch up to the rest of the boys
Brilliant idea for cache names around Stanley.

Keep smiling

Quick find on return journey when spent too much time when doing the series in sequence. Once I wrote in the log book, couldn’t find where to return it. Another search then success
We passed some lovely black cockatoos on our way to the next cache, whoa! We only see white ones where we live. TFTC
Got distracted on the way to this one by the Black Cockatoos, Prettier and quieter than the white ones we get in our back yard!
Thanks for maintaining the cache

The log on this geocache has been replaced with a waterproof one. All good with the cache.
I hate long grass but luckily there was a geotrail to this one and a quick find. Thanks
Found with The X-Trailers after a great morning exploring this great little town. TFTC
Only thing I managed to find after a good 20min search was a golf ball!
Perhaps a check from the CO to make sure all is still in order???
Otherwise too good for me.
Cheers

Megawat60 are in Stanley and enjoying the walk after lunch! We were happy to find this one! TFTC!
Out ‘n about with m4yb grabbing a few caches.
So glad she made the find here, like others I might have spent too long in the wrong spot!
Thanks for the hide and smiley. Angus88

A great walk along the beach with icybeetas, nettieknows and gridge98 on our getaway in Stanley. TFTC.
Sebastian was a quick find on a pleasant 2 hour walk along the track with a return along the beach.
This morning after my event on the water Courtneyrose_, nettieknows, Icybeestas and I made our way along the coastal walking trail then back along the beach over 2 hours to complete the lovely walking trail. All the caches were found in good condition and are all good.
Thanks for the cache

Whilst we were enjoying the purple flowers, we were totally oblivious to the thousands of little death merchants hanging around them. Once we got close we could see the swarms of killer bees just ready to strike.
They look so cute and make a mesmerising sound so it’s easy to overlook how close to causing a fatality they are. I think I’ve read that they have about 32 eyes, and the only reason to have that many eyes is to keep watch over your victims so they can pick the perfect time to strike.
I’ve also read that bees will always try to pee on your head as they fly by. It’s part of their plan to weaken humans with dysentery and other diseases. It’s all very interesting and you can read more about their plans to take over the planet at the respected web site crackpotsandconspiracytheories.com. tftc

On a maintenance run of Tatlow track 1st July, Sebastian was missing. Fence line and gate post had been cleared of long grass so it was necessary to re-locate him. He is how a 100ml aluminium tube secured to a tree branch.

Spotted the potential hiding spot as we pulled up on the bikes.
A few lazy golfers [in carts] to outwait before we could go in for the retrieval.
Thanks.

We are in Stanley for a wee break away, but the real purpose of course is to log the veritable forest of new caches which have appeared since our last visit. Wind is strong east-nor'easter so we chose to do the walking trail on bikes where it is relatively sheltered. Sailed along the beach with the wind behind us, and logged most of the caches on the way back. Sebastian certainly will appreciate you rehiding him with care in this vulnerable spot. TFTC Angus88.
