Nope I didn't miss it - I slammed on the breaks and parked right in the middle of it for a quick park and grab. TFTC # 23,064

Day 4: The Road to Balclutha Todays agenda was to get down to Balclutha where we are staying on the way to the Catlins. The route on the beautiful day took us through the beautiful Central Otago and Teviot regions, where we took in the landscapes and found quite a few caches along the way. It was a long drive but we really enjoyed the little highlights along the way thanks to the ALs and caches placed by everyone. (End of the cut and paste bit)Heres the specific log for this cache: A slightly tricky GZ to manoeuvre to given the busyness of the SH, but with ample warning, the driver/wife pulled it off. This was a nice quick one, though I had the wrong idea initially. After rejecting them with a quick frisk, the cache was soon found. TFTC!
Family getaway up to our old stomping ground in Christchurch.Day 1. Home to Omarama. Had a community newsletter to finish so left home about midday. Not sure if the first day of daylight savings helped or not. Not many to get today cos I've travelled this road a fair bit.Didnt look low enough, so Saethwr who is driving, got out of the car which meant I saw it as soon as her feet touched the ground. Thanks for the cache Natalie247# 3751 24 September 2023 3:44 pm
After a day trip to Arrowtown I made a quick stop here to grab this one. All good here.

One of a few caches we located on our drive from Alexandra to The Catlins today. This one was a quick find. #6048. TFTC.
Down in the south island for a roadie from Northland , touring with Dodge 1923. Interesting history everywhere here. Thanks for the hide
Stopped by the road and found this one. Yes, the temptation to drive straight ahead at this corner is certainly there. All nice and dry inside. TFTC.
There use to be a cafe in the nearby building 20 or so years ago. Cache was lying in the open so I propped it against the nearby post and held it in place with the largest nearby stone.
Missed it! Whoops, but did a uey up Dalmuir for a successful result. Had lunch at Ettrick garden cafe as Raes Junction is no longer a pub. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks.
Ms_KR and I are on a wee South Island break. Today we headed up the Clutha from Kaitangata, and on up to Alexandra. Not too many people drive the road up to Beaumont, and the road has been sealed since we last drove it 25 or so years ago. A nice day for it too, with only a few light showers.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

It is strongly recommend that whilst we go for a walk for exercise, we need to take care on shared surfaces and geocaching should not be done at this time; https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/New+Zealand
To remove temptation, I am disabling this cache and ask kindly that you do not find this cache during lockdown.
Remember there is more than physically finding a cache, there are plenty of puzzle caches you can do at home. Or if you live near a multi you can walk the trail and save the find for another day. For more info or connect with wider community see Geocaching New Zealand on Facebook.

On our way home from an interesting trip away with P &Vee, decided to find this cache easy as. Tftc
Have often thought how many drivers would go straight ahead here if it wasn't for the chevrons. Container was quite exposed when I walked up to GZ. TFTC.
We didn't miss the corner but there is evidence of some others stopping in a hurry. TFTC.
TFTC found with rachb I alternate between this and the main road going to work
Do worry about the corner as long as we don't missed the cache. Many Thanks Bitsprayer
