Coordinates changed from:S 40 45.855 E 145 18.063Coordinates changed to:S 40 45.841 E 145 18.064Distance from original: 85.2 feet or 26.0 meters. After recent destructive winds making alterations to the trees of this area, it was necessary to find a new nearby GZ.
It seems that recent weather has disturbed Sarah. It will be checked as soon as possible.
Had trouble with this one and looking at past logs I think they may be correct that the tree has fallen over.
Tree has come down where the coordinates lead, not sure if the cache is there/ accessible
Quick find once I was on the correct side of the path. The weather is deteriorating to blizzard conditions. Onto the next one then I going to call it a day/night.
Yet another circuit hike of The Nut today to do a maintenance check. All is well with Sarah.
The Kings Birthday long weekend caching trip to Stanley is now in the second day. Today we found your cache whilst cleaning out the areas around Stanley and Smithton. An early start for us today and we found this cache at 10:18. Thanks Angus88 for placing Sarah for us to find today. This brings my find count to 4891.
Swampy and I decided to visit Stanley with the aim of adding Pine Nut (GC52EF) to my list of oldest caches found. After an excellent trip, visiting the Hydro Power Trail along the way, we continued heading North West caching as we went. We found many different type of hides, cache containers and conditions. We fixed what was needed and replaced as found. What they all had in common was getting 2 geeks outside for some exercise. This find, Sarah, brings my total to 1670 and was found at 10:19 on 8/6/2024.Thanks Angus88 for playing the game and giving us another reason to visit this area. Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81

Lived in Tasmania for a number of years now however this is my first time North West Tassie. Driving around the area for our 30th wedding anniversary. What an adventure. Went up the chair lift & headed off with clouds but sun around. Half way along the loop, it bucked down & we got drenched. But it was fun & we had a good time. Thanks for the adventure.
[9007] Holidays on Tasmania, day 8. Today, we had to move again, from Smithton in the Northwest to Cradle Mountain. It became mainly a coastal experience, with quite a few geocaches more or less close to the ocean. And it became my jubilee tour, as I logged my 9,000th geocache on the road. We enjoyed a walk on The Nuts and found some rather fresh geocaches as second or third team. This geocaches also contributed its share to another beautiful day in Australia! TFTC!
Almost had to pass as we found a wallaby trying to be a possum in said tree!
Thanks Angus88 for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 1,060 for us We are traveling Australia full time in a Coaster Bus and of course grabbing some caches along the way. [Feel free to follow our journey HERE...](https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth)
#2695 This is my day 255, and the longest physical cache find streak so far. I want to see how far I go. I am on a family vacation in Australia, and Tasmania road trip is our main highlight. Today, we roamed around Stanley, got some seafood, and found some caches while walking around The Nut.Thank you for the cache!-crystaloops from Taipei, Taiwan @ February 14, 2024 16:02:11
Today we headed out for a walk up the Nut and then to find the caches at the summit. We wrongly thought it was a tough climb to the summit but we seemed to be there in no time at all. We really enjoyed all the walking and finding all the caches. We had a great day for it.Quick find and sign here TFTC Angus
Quickly grabbed this on our way past, when there was a gap in the passing traffic. Tftc
TFTC!Another hard find (we didnt read description) but another lucky find by pancaka1.
On a maintenance trip along the north and west coasts, it was found that someone had cross threaded the lid to this one so it was replaced and therefore has a new log.
Found while on a hike around The Nut with Angus88 who was doing a maintenance check on Stanley caches.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Visiting The Nut today and suprising how warm it is, even though there is a good breeze blowing. Not too many muggles, so allowed for a good search and quick find. Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
Muggles aplenty today. Beautiful day to visit the nut. Found at the third attempt. Thanks for the caches.
Started on my CCW walk around the nut and realized I was missing caches! Made this my first stop. Not too sure about the off trail given all the tiger snake warnings I have heard.TFTC!
Second find our walk around the top of The Nut. Mrs Shifter was suffering cache blindness and was unable to locate it, Mr Shifter started looking saw it, gave Mrs Shifter a couple of hints but she still was unable to see it. Mr Shifter pointed it out and it should have been easy for Mrs Shifter to locate. Thanks for the hide Angus88.
We were enjoying watching some pademelon's near the cache. They are such cute little fellas Mrs Parko spotted this one but Mr Parko did all the work in retrieving. Thanks Angus88
TFTCDusk is setting and night is falling. Best get a wriggle on, the wallabys are everywhere!!

Jetstar was having a sale…. in the middle of winter, for a destination further south than I already live. That sounds like a great idea!
So a plan for a 4 night whirlwind tour of the northern part of the state was hatched. I’ve seen lots of this beautiful state, but haven’t found a single cache. With plenty of challenges to tick off, and a long list of targeted caches, this week is the time to turn that around.
Todays adventure started with a sunrise walk around The Nut in Stanley before a road trip to Launceston via some country stops.
Took some time to find this one. Finally found it but a bit further south along the track than expected. I see that the CO has since updated the coordinates so that should improve the hide in future.
Thanks Angus88 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

Caching around Tasmania. TFTC.
Great to finally be up this hill. Cold wet and windy. Just perfect.
Took a little while to find this one. A bit more east.
