Thanks for the Cache Angus88 and Silas,Great ride along the beach around low tide. What a view!Regards from Victourer
On a maintenance trip from Port Sorell to Stanley, and now walking back along the beach after doing the Tetlow Track, this one was found to be in good order. Well done, Silas.
The Kings Birthday long weekend caching trip to Stanley is now in the second day. Today we found your cache whilst cleaning out the areas around Stanley and Smithton. An early start for us today and we found this cache at 17:34. Thanks Angus88 for placing Silas for us to find today. This brings my find count to 4930.
Swampy and I decided to visit Stanley with the aim of adding Pine Nut (GC52EF) to my list of oldest caches found. After an excellent trip, visiting the Hydro Power Trail along the way, we continued heading North West caching as we went. We found many different type of hides, cache containers and conditions. We fixed what was needed and replaced as found. What they all had in common was getting 2 geeks outside for some exercise. This find, Silas, brings my total to 1709 and was found at 17:34 on 8/6/2024.Thanks Angus88 for playing the game and giving us another reason to visit this area. Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81

Thanks Angus88 for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 1,049 for us We are traveling Australia full time in a Coaster Bus and of course grabbing some caches along the way. [Feel free to follow our journey HERE...](https://linktr.ee/SalandAnth)
Today we headed out to find all the S name caches along the trail and beach, Nut ones hopefully tomorrow. It was a little bit windy but otherwise a perfect afternoon for a walk. Thanks for the ongoing maintenance with this series made for a nice quick find of a familiar type of Angus hide TFTc
Hiking the Tatlow track on a wild winter day for maintenance. All is good here with Silas.
A long walk up the beach with Murder running amok and having a great time.
An easy find here with log slightly damp.
Many tftc...cheers ST.

Walking in the sunshine, with a blustery wind whipping up the waves this morning. Thanks Angus88 for adding to our enjoyment walking along this trail.
I think Silas may have a connection to the bible.

A great walk along the beach with icybeetas, nettieknows and gridge98 on our getaway in Stanley. TFTC.
On the way to Silas Mr Joseph Blake, aka wriggling stick or danger noodle was discovered sunning himself on the track. After much stamping on the track Mr Blake decided it would be prudent if not more pleasant to make himself scarce by wriggling off into the undergrowth. With the potential dangerous situation eliminated a quick find was made.
This morning after my event on the water Courtneyrose_, nettieknows, Icybeestas and I made our way along the coastal walking trail then back along the beach over 2 hours to complete the lovely walking trail. All the caches were found in good condition and are all good.
Thanks for the cache

When we were up on The Nut yesterday we looked down at this beach when the tide was in and thought it was a bit dirty. And by dirty I mean just the water and also just the kind of dirty we like.
Walking out to GZ it was a much different sight with the tide out. There was miles and miles of interrupted beach and only the occasional fool reading up the view. After we had broken the view we restored it for everyone. tftc

Just couldn't find this one after an extensive search. And I was so confident after finding 2 of the other 'seat' ones.... GPS seemed to be telling me to go into the bushes? Will have have to try again another day.
Sergio was still very happy with his stop on a maintenance run of the Tatlow Track on 1st July 2022.
While out and about today with whitewebbs we found a few caches on the way and this was one of them.
A nice walk along the beach, little wind and calm seas. A quick find, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Out and about caching with Tassie Trekkers collecting caches pub;ished since our last visit to the area and this was one we found. A nice walk along the beach.TFTC
After finding Stan we rode the track back to Silas. No deja vu here but it didn't fool us for long. We then decided the tide was out far enough for us to ride back to the beginning from here. Loved the sound of the shells crunching under the bike tyres on the way back.
Thanks for this great series Angus88. We really enjoy caches that can be incorporated in to a bike ride.

We are in Stanley for a wee break away, but the real purpose of course is to log the veritable forest of new caches which have appeared since our last visit. Wind is strong east-nor'easter so we chose to do the walking trail on bikes where it is relatively sheltered. From this point on we sailed along the beach with the wind behind us, and logged the remaining caches on the way back. This one also gets a favourite !
Found by Peter and Marian at 1220hrs, sitting on a seat at Tatlows beach being wind blown. TNLN TFTC.

There has obviously been some serious erosion of the sand dunes recently because the junction of the paths is now quite a big step up from the beach. I looked around for some time without success, so I had to call up my reinforcement. Post was hiding but the Tealby B Team found it for me. TFTC - my last find for this visit to Stanley & an enjoyable walk today.
We were visiting Stanley for the day and thought we would try and collect all of the Stanley caches. This took a bit of searching until we found the right post. TFTC
For this S series of cache Geo Kid O and myself went different ways. I went along the path, and Geo Kid O went along the beach and then we met where the path comes back up to the main path. Only one DNF among these caches (Which was not the caches fault) which was surprising as some are tricky hides

3 days off from work, and Geo Kid O joined me on a journey to Stanley and then down along the western explorer road towards Corinna. We have a great time finding a number of caches and driving a road I had not travelled on before.
The Western Explorer road was closed for a while and recently had been reopened with a new bridge near Balfour. Some very interesting sights along the way, with part of the road feeling more like a forest track, and other parts felt like a place where no one else has gone in the past, other than on the road. The open button grass plains were amazing along with the mountain views.
We stayed in Stanely, and the caches in and around Stanely were very good, including one walk to the top of the Nut. Gee that is a steep 400 metre walk.
Thank you for the cache which was part of our journey

Ok... 20 or so caches with S names are to be found so i decided on the Anti-Clockwise way, then along the beach on my way back. The wind was gonna be an issue with water pouring outta my cold-wind-sensitive eyes so i was gonna need more time than usual.
Easy does it, was the order of the day for me Probably a good thing coz it means i will slow down and DNF's are less likely to happen.
Bring on the good ol' windy days ha ha
Silas was found and it's dry log was signed at 13:05 on Wednesday 13 October 2021.
