I had use of my brother's car today and boy did I make good use of it! I decided to head up to here to Kaukapakapa to get a nearby ftf, which I got, so just to add a few more caches to make my trip to make it worth-while, I came here. No worries with finding the cache, but a bit confused about the hint referring to a V??? Thanks for bringing me here though DODOBIRD250. This is my most northern cache for today, now to head south and eventually home.
we thought that this little box was too empty so we left a few little items for our fellow cachers. enjoy! TFTC
Replaced log sheet as old one was wet Used the photo to find the cache Tftc Took a photo to
Nice quick find, although the GPS was off so I used a previous logger's photo as the hint. Logbook unusable so I just took a photo of the cache as evidence of the find, if needed.
Awesome easy find for a quick after school cache. Have hidden same spot but slightly more covered
I'm caching solo today while the other half is in charge of Christmas trees. Today's mission is to head out towards Helensville and Kaukapakapa for half a dozen caches. This looks like a nice area of lifestyle homes. The cache was a pretty quick find with the hint, but was full of water, and as a result the logsheet is very soggy and falling apart. I was unable to sign, so I resorted to taking a photo of the cache as proof of a find. Thanks.
Took us a while but found it. Container could do with upgrading. Paper was wet
Today I was on a mission as part of Team G0LD to Te Rau Puriri Regional Park on South Kaipara Head, to hopefully clear all the caches there and as many more as possible on the peninsula.
With the Te Rau Puriri mission successfully completed, it was on to the rest of the local caches despite the very hot day. Really glad for the aircon in the cache mobile in between caches.
A quick stop off on our way home now and a nice quick find in the most likely location. TFTC

Team G0LD (Geocachers: 0B80B8, Lis's crew and DaffyNZ) were on a mission today. The primary target was the cache rich Te Rau Puriri Regional Park at South Head. We were aiming to get our final mountain souvenir all done and dusted as well as filling an entire area on our maps with yellow smiles.
We couldn't resist a few quick grabs on the roadside on the way to and from the park. A tiny detour on the way home. Congrats on your first hide. A quick find today.
Overall it was a very hot day with temps 28-30°C. We only copped a few brief spats of rain and I found 49 caches. My souvenir well and truly achieved. Certainly a pretty lot of smiles too. Thanks for this hide

Out with team Gold today (0B80B8 and LisCrew) collecting a few caches in the area. A quick detour of the main road to collect this one. Soon located and had the log signed. TFTC
This was an easy find as it was lying in the open, I rehid it a bit better amongst the rocks
Took a long detour from Whangaparaoa out this way and back through Huapai and Herald Island before getting to Murrays Bay for a pickup of a Trade Me item. Interesting area that I hadn't been too before and the GPS was bouncing around all over the place. Common sense prevailed and cache was found about 4m away according to where the GPS was pointing. TFTC
Nice and handy find on my way home from Kaipara Harbour weekend.
Well I had to read previous logs to get an extra hint ....
TFTC!

A quick park and grab whilst out exploring the area. We grabbed the TB and will move it on. TFTC
Out and about with the elder Future Finder for an afternoon drive in the country. This was our last stop for the day. We parked up and I made the short walk to GZ. My interpretation of the hint was spot on, but, my searching intensity was not high enough as I missed the hide on the first pass. Tried a number of other spots before a paf option confirmed my initial ideas. A proper search on the second pass produced the goods this time. I dropped a trackable. Cheers for the cache placement!
Great cache. Loved the letter box array on the way in. Was lucky to hit the correct spot first look.
A favorite from me.

After an unlogged DNF last weekend I returned here on the way from other caching exploits. I had spoken to a recent finder and she helped me equate the hint to GZ and I tried again. GZ had me near a fence and hint object but nothing found there. Upon emerging and logging a (now deleted) DNF, I nudged a thing with my foot and the cache emerged into the daylight rubbing it's eyes. Gotcha. Nice hide here DODOBIRD250, look forward to more from you.
Another weekend day and I have a plan to go and find some caches out at Te Rau Puriri Regional Park up the top of South Head (North of South Head then!). I originally put down a couple of new ones in this empty (of caches, at the time) park and Tramyard and Pax duly obliged to fill in some of the walking tracks with caches, which also had good views and interesting things to see. I was fairly early off from home and arrived at the trail start at 0900, arrived back at 1145-ish so under 3 hours for the loop, including finds. After this I headed to cowpops for a couple then finished at Silverdale for a few more.

Hi DODOBIRD250...
Many thanks, and congratulations on placing your first geocache.!
Had a free day so made a Sunday Caching plan with nette1234..... and this was first on our list.
Was so pleased and surprised when we opened the cache and found a blank log!
Very exciting to get an { FTF }
here after it's been out a day or so!
Great place to put it....never driven up this road before!
Favourite Point !
