Logs
With a bit of time after work while the sun was still out, I thought I'd give the WP of the new multi nearby a crack and wound up having a stroll around the area grabbing some other caches along the way.I was vaguely aware of the mountain biking stuff around here, although this playground was a surprising find amongst the bushland. It was totally deserted today which gave it a unique vibe but also made the search a lot easier for me!Keeping the description and hint in mind, I began my search in a less conventional spot (relative to past finders) and was rewarded by staring directly at the cache! Thanks to Tankengine for the trad here!
A windy Saturday run with the doglet around the trails of Stromlo! My first time at Stromlo! Lovely to grab your caches!
I was focusing on a ticking off a few stages of a multicache today, and realised I hadn't picked up a find for the day. This one was conveniently located on my way through. As other logs suggest, took a while to realise the correct interpretation of the clue.TFTC!
Thanks for the fresh log paper Tankengine was easy signing at the top of the roll. Not much activity here at night other than kangaroos munching… TFTC
Found after the CC event at Namarag Nature Reserve. Parked nearby and took a lovely, gentle stroll on the path to GZ. Like others, I looked in the wrong area first, but with the hint and a bit of a rethink I soon had the cache in hand. Fun cache; what a cool area to highlight. TFTC TE!
Searched the wrong place as well but eventually fixed my thinking. Cool area. Tftc
I has enough time to head out after work for a few caches today. A virtual, a walk for a multi and a few traditionals made up today's trip. Quite warm still, and I was fully dressed for work and scooter travel.
The whole park was buzzing with riders all over the place doing all sorts of different rides. After I walked out there without getting run down by any bikes, I started my search. I eventually worked out what the hint meant and found the cache ok.
Thanks for the cache Tankengine

A nice walk out here. Checked a few higher D spots before checking the hint, then quickly finding the cache. Thanks
Finally the 7yo found one before the 12yo. He was starting to get frustrated. TFTC
Spent ages looking in the wrong spot then found it quickly when I realised I was an idiot tftc!
Out for a little caching on my two hour window for adventure!
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to the COs for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

Out and about solo caching today. I started at Corin Rd, then headed for Tidbinbilla, followed by Pierces Forest. Finishing with a couple on the edge of the city before calling it a day. 6 separate walks - about 10km all up. A pleasant day to be out. A quick find once at GZ. TFTC and the walk.

I wan't feeling the best today so popped out here to seek a simple find to keep my streak going. Stromlo's nice on misty weekdays - lots of roos, not many people - and it wasn't long before I arrived near GZ to locate the cache.
It took me a bit longer than I had expected, as the hint had me blinkered to seek one style of hide, whereas if I had trusted the immaculate coordinates and opened my eyes to other possibilities I would have found GZ (which is also consistent with the hint!) in a lot less time.
Thanks, Tankengine - an awesome spot to visit, I'll have to come back with the bike!

Another very pleasant Autumn day. Some lovely colour in some of the near by trees.
I should have brought my mt bike for this one. But I walked.
Thanks for the cache TS.

Found with Geokids 2 and 3
Parked at the memorial and walked on over to GZ, Geokids mucked about on the obstacles as I hunted about. Found in the second second from end location I checked. Signed and replaced we eventually headed back to the geomobile. What is it with kids and climbing on everything! TNLNSL TFTC

Found with the missus, actually she found it whilst I searched a couple of metres away on the wrong object. TFTC.
A tough walk here, mainly because of the hundreds of bikes on the trails, and how hard it was to avoid the trails! Got there eventually though with a bit of care, and managed to spot the cache on arrival thanks to the specific hint.
Hadn't seen this section of this track before, so thanks for bringing me here

Found with Everyonelovesstring.
Wow that was hard... Everyone around and cache was not where we thought it would be. TFTC Tankengine!

Wandered over from home to check this one out. Took a good 5 minutes to make the find, but that's what happens when you're looking in the wrong place. Once I tried something different, the cache was soon in hand and the log signed.
An interesting area I hadn't visited before....thanks for another TE...

Arrived not long after publication and was soon at the given co-ords. There were plenty of riders about today on the tracks all over the hills around here .
Soon spotted the cache and scribed a signature into the FTF spot and did the replace.
Then got some nice pictures of some riders coming down the hill for their skill test. Gave them the thumbs up as they went past and their skills passed with flying colours.
Thanks to Tankengine for the cache hide and skill test location.

Out with the Grandkids cycling this afternoon so it was perfect timing to pickup this cache. Quick and easy find. TFTC Tankengine.
