Today we have had a big caching trip to Port Sorrel looking for as many caches as we could find in my quest to get to our next milestone by the end of November. Weve got no chance but definitely have no chance if we dont even try. As most caches required shanks pony our numbers were limited to around 30 finds for the day along with 3 dnf. Our primary focus to begin with was the 4 low tide caches all of which were successfully found. We then spent a while at Squeaking Point before a walk along the main trail near Hawley Beach. Thanks mainly to Spreyton and Angus88 for the bulk of our finds and of course to all the other hiders for adding enjoyment to our day. I walked 20,000 steps and 15km.I was starving by now so rushed along the track and back to the car. Another fast find. TFTC

Its turned out to be a beautiful day today and I arrived as the tide was receding so I got to find these caches while walking along the shoreline with GeoCleo.TFTCSpreyton22Keep smiling

Camped in Deloraine today , off to Port Sorell for a few caches I missed on the last trip and any new ones which have gone down. TFTC
Out and about with Tassie Trekkers collecting new caches that have appeared since our last visit to this area. A great day to be out and about. Happy Easter. TFTC
While out and about today with whitewebbs we found a few caches on the way and this was one of them.
A nice stroll around the track and beach, tide was on the way out so made the beach walk easy. Cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks Spreyton22 for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Thanks for the cache Spreyton22.
RLD4963, the two GeoGSP's and I were visiting Port Sorell for a few days r&r. This is another area which had had half the number of caches last time we visited Port Sorell, so today we were back to find the new ones.
All the ones we found today were straightforward finds.

Out and about caching with all the Rafas for our holidays TFTC TNLN log dry, an easy find at GZ.
A quick grab between showers on a track we didn't know existed.
The plan was to do these on the bikes but can't see that happening in the next few days.
Thanks Spreyton22.

We decided to use a leave day to do some caching in the Squeaking Point area after doing some of the Port Sorell caches recently. A beautiful day for strolling around in the bush, not too hot. We saw a few other people out and about as well, nice to see that these tracks get used. This cache was a quick find with the aid of accurate coordinates. TFTC
These 4 hides were in my sights this morning so with the GeoMobile parked i was off on foot to grab these on this track
SPT #2 was found and the log signed at 11:07 on Wednesday 17 November 2021.
{Many Wallabies and Blue Wrens were sighted along the way, the odd Pied Oystercatcher was seen also}

I was in the area to catch up on recently published caches. Continuing a nice walk to GZ the cache was quickly located. Thank you Spreyton22 for placing the cache which brought me to this walk. I will leave #3 and #4 for another visit.
Another incredibly marvellous autumn day left little option but to go on a caching expedition at Squeaking Point. These are new ones which have popped up since we were last here, so plenty of pay dirt on hand. Nice placement. All in good nick. TFTC Track #2 Spreyton22.
With Easter off from work, it was a good opportunity to try and close the gap on my target for the year. 500 finds for the year is the target, and this run brought me up to 230 odd, so only 3 months in I am on track for this target.
The highlight (and hardest part of this day) was the walk out to the cache Lieu-Pine-Ner at Point Sorell. The walk was challenging due to the number of rocks being very uneven. I was hoping 2 hours, but in the end it took 3 hours. Geo Kid O was still going strong at the end, but it had taxed me.
Thank you for placing this cache and maintaining it.
