Just what we needed today, a stroll through some really nice forest to keep us out of the cold wind. And some smilies to add to the fun. Cache is all good. TFTC

Looking at caches in Invercargill, discovered there is this new QEII reserve, only purchased 2020. https://www.nfrt.org.nz/reserves/oreti-totara-dune-forest/So this had to be explored! Obviously a lot of puzzle finals must be here, but had no time to work on those. But grabbed this furry blighter first off, thank you, very cute!

This must indeed be a wonderful place to put a puzzle final, but the usual story too many caches, too little time. However we decided to at least grab this furry monster and keep what appears to be a vendetta alive.TNLN. TFTC.

Can't believe that I had to Google that! Paihamu would have been easier for me but I still don't like their destructive ways. Love the cache tho so thanks AnnieLin.

A nice quick find and a lovely walk. Thanks for placing your cache.

Ms_KR and I are off on a wee drive to Invercargill and back. Today we cruised around Sandy Point in lovely fine weather, some walking and some driving following an Ad Lab around the place.

Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

#20763. A trad en route to a puzzle. Troodles didn't have much patience here, but I hung in there a bit longer, and eventually the GPSr settled, and I found the cache. Loved the outer container. TFTC.

Found with StreetWalkerNZ en route to Sandy Point Domain where we have some walking to do and caches to find Razz.
An interesting area, and had to google how to access it as neither the geocaching.com nor google maps were particularly helpful. GZ looked rather daunting, I first approached from one side, then realised I needed to be on the other. Decided to call it quits and move on, when SW persevered and found the cache. TFTC.

After grabbing a penguin cache nearby I seemed to have stumbled on the opposition. Another one where I did a bit of circling waiting for the GPS to settle. Not sure if possums are allowed in here but signed and replaced. Thanks for the cache.

No luck today. Had a good hunt around GZ but nothing came from it.

18-Jul-21
Pretty tricky as I had done it in the dark, cool hiding spot. Needed to come back to it!

Today's mission was to make some extra cash under the table wallpapering an awful floral wallpaper for a client.
Lunch time arrived, and I drove off for some much needed food.
Knowing it was a dot day, I spent the rest of my lunch break by driving out here to claim a dot.
It wasn't the first time I was here... the last time I was here, there was a worker gathering berries off a nearby tree, which I'm guessing was to feed birds... I missed that dot day, may May next year be the last of my dots.

While down south visiting family thought I would do a little stealth research.... with eyes wide open and gently crunching sticks managed to sneak up and find the undercover agent. Considering the recent weather he was in fine form, not a wet whisker in sight. Left him safe and sound to carry on with his mission.

Not really into “Steve’s, Ppies, penguins, pirates, fishnet stockings or these pests” but I can get a smiley when I make the effort to go looking for them.
Got a text to see if I wanted to go a hunting today. With cabin fever knocking on the door the answer was a huge yes. Quick easy find today. TFTC Smile

Pengi is happy to be back in Invercargill as it is freezing Though I would prefer to be back up north. On our rounds on our return to see what penguin mischief is around and catch up with the various spy groups. We found this one where we expected safely tucked away from the frost.

TFTC. Great cache. My wee dog loved it!!

I don't know enough Latin to write any meaningful log. So it a dot day so was going to find another one closer to me as in the park but the trad is compromised at present and the other would have me sniffing the roses. The next one was too much of a walk at bushy point so this one fitted the bill having family in car after an estuary walk.
Quick walk to the place these creatures hang out spied the container signed log etc. The last one of these I spotted during a night time hike up one of the walks on My Hutt.

Hunted this wee fella out, well hidden for any spotting of enemy activity . Noone around today the icy wind and drizzly day kept peeps at bay. Unlike the dancing feral of the spying species this one caused no problems at all Log nice and cosy in it's hide, a slight amount of water in container, emptied it out. tftc Annie

After recent activities of the elusive Captain fishbeard and we managed to nab one of his operatives at a recent event.
So after the group squeeze him for info .
We set about checking to see if it was good info or lies .
We now have a new operatives on the case but today I decided to visit a very stealthy under cover operative .
We managed to track him down and after a lengthy discussion we have put all the info together and have got a plan to bring in reinforcements to put Captain fishbeard on notice.
But for now he will be back on under cover surveillance nothing will get past without didelphimorphim he is all ways watching always.
Keep up the good work.

Life is short. Live one foot step at a time.Never say" I'm gonna "- Just do it!!
Thanks for the hide

Surprise surpise. On a {FTF} hunt after the notice popped up on my phone. Lots of trees so the phone took awhile to settle. Next thing - a yell "have you found it yet?" Nope but 2 heads made for a speedy find.
Lots of giggles when we opened the cache. Pengi will be surprised

Cache 629 [FTF] 12:21pm 28/3/21 Joint FTF with Kiscardi I heard through Big Boss Hoss that there was a couple of extra helping helpers in the war against the pirate penguins I thought I had better go out and check on this new high tech Surveillance system. And by golly was I impressed it has all the bells and whistles from high tech senor whiskers to beady eye cameras no penguins movements will go unnoticed with this little dude around. After finding this wee guy I gave him a gigantic hug cause boy oh boy is he cute and thanked him for his service, we may have to watch his little hut though cause it did have a little water in it, that was soon fixed though. Fave point from me he was to adorable not to have one. ️ T4TC ️
