We are on a caravanning trip around Australia seeing the sights and finding a few caches. We are on the way to Barossa valley to catch up with friends. We stopped in this town. Grabbed out the bikes and went caching. Although a had too many DNF today. No luck here for us today despite numerous circuits.
No luck after giving the object at GZ a good going over, Was last found 10 months ago time for the CO to check it out and either replace or archive the cache
Attempted to find with a previous finder. No go, GZ has been disturbed. TFTHunt 4WHEELAUSSIE.
Staying at the van park for a couple of days. A quick walk to GZ and after one circuit the cache was sighted. Good one 4WHEELDRIVE, thank you.

A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
A return visit to Clare was planned for the long weekend with the JAMS crew plus tallbikestan to find a lot of the caches that we didn't get to on our last visit along with the Rattler, Riesling and NE trails as well as the Mid North Channel Country trail. [^]
We had three very full days with perfect weather for caching, lots of bike riding, lots of walking and lots of driving along dirt tracks. We were lucky it had not recently been wet as some of the roads we drove on would not have been passable if wet. Loved the scenery at this time of year with everything looking very green as well as the bright yellow of the canola crops.
A fun weekend of caching, lots of caches found and lots of cool places visited.
Thanks for the cache 4WHEELAUSSIE.

mogni found it quickly.
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.

The JAMS crew went on an October long weekend adventure back to Clare. We brought Tallbikestan along as we were targetting the bike tracks and he is the best rider amongst us. Allister W and sir_spectre we the other main riders, with JJ52 and I the support crew and walkers. A huge weekend of fun and adventure was had by all, until I made SS sick with my cold....oops.
Thanks to all those who have kept not just the bike tracks but all the other caches alive for us to find.
All caches signed as JAMS.
Thanks to 4WHEELAUSSIE from mogni

Staying in the caravan park here for a couple of nights, on our way back home to Tassie from a quick trip to the west. One lap around was enough. TNLNSL. TFTC.
Found during a day of caching randomly following the arrow to see where it would lead. Twenty six caches for the day as I meandered from Bowmans to Riverton, Tarlee and Kapunda. Thanks for the cache 4WHEELAUSSIE!
Out with iluvtrekking on a beautiful winters day- quite the opposite of yesterday. Love these rural hides - our preferred caching. Lovely gardens. Thanks for the hide.
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
A beautiful day to be out and about today in the countryside. TFTC

A nice quick find while staying in Kapunda for a few days. Thank you for placing this cache.
2006 we had June long weekend event right here.
The cache was found in the last place we looked, which as usual was not the first place we looked. Thanks for placing a fun cache guys. We do love your work. We signed the logbook. Of course we did that is way we play this game. Cache in pretty good condition for the cache age.
I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count.
This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and a Samsung S8. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs...
Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun.

Reading prior logs, I was hell bent in finding this cache in just one lap for bragging rights. Just snuck in! Very easy for 3.5 unless there has been creep. Nice memorial to missing nurses nearby. Thanks for the hide 4WHEELAUSSIE
Thanks for the cache 4WheelAussie. I did one quick circuit to see what I could see. The second more slower pass came up with the goods. So many nice shelves in this tree.
Full time nomads since 2014. Still tootling around the country trying to avoid Covid hotspots.
Back in SA for harvest work. Spending a few days in Kapunda before heading to Yorke Peninsula.
Grabbed a few caches before joining Snappy Tom Cats for lunch. We had a quick look for this last night but it was dusk and we had no luck. Decided to call in reinforcements today but as luck would have it Mrs Felix found it within 30secs at GZ today.

Time for another Friday Frolic for some members of the Befuddled Puzzle Solving Group. We gathered at the Rat Nest and myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats headed out for a day of caching in and around Kapunda. Except for one cache that is currently off line we managed to find all we looked for. As usual there were a few laughs, a picnic lunch and these are the caches we found [B)]
What The [?] We managed to find two cache containers within 2 inches of each other [?] Checked the logs and one was the original. The other a throw down. So we put the throw down log into the original container and removed the throw down container. Some people just refuse to have DNFs.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again trying and fill my calendar with multi-caches and complete loop 11 again this year. [^] For my third goal I will try and get my DNF numbers from over fifty to single digits. That should keep me busy again this year! [:o)]
***Thanks 4WHEELAUSSIE for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***

Three Geo animals decided on a Friday Frolic.
The trio consisted of A Rat, a starfish and a blackAdder.
The plan was for the Adder and Starfish to Met the Rat at the Rat's Den.
Then set off to frolic around Kapunda.
We came to picture this.
We found 2 caches close to each other.
So we stamped the original logbook.
Placed the log sheet of the other one into the original container.
We removed the other container. Tftc

The usual wanderings of the befuddled was postponed until today due to previous commitments. A quick find at GZ and another quick find at GZ only a few inches away. Two of the same containers found both with marks in the log books. Thank you for the placement of the PICTURE THIS cache 4WHEELAUSSIE find number 8504 on 24 September 2021 at 2:03 pm
Found in a beautiful day watching my son play footy. There were two containers so I wrote my name in both. They were a little soggy but still writeable. A lovely park. P.s. my son's team won. Go Panthers!
I pictured the tranquil setting before I arrived. I wasn't disappointed. Very quiet here today.
Thanks to 4WHEELAUSSIE and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! [^]
I didn't have to make a wish at the fountain. Thanks 4wheelaussie for the cache.
Visited again with Froghoppin, honeysucker, and Sebastbat.
Another great place to visit for a cache!

How unfortunate it is to find the cache strewn over the ground & no where near where our GPS took us.
We, Animal62 & I, managed to sign the log book & have returned the cache back to where we think it should have been.

Out today for a few quick caches and test fly of the new drone. A quick find, sign and replace here. TFTC
This could have been in one of a thousand places. Luckily my hunt didn’t take too long. TFTC
Half a lap and found a familiar container.
Used to sell these, and then get them back with used film to process...
but that was last century
This style commonly held Agfa 35mm film Kodak had the grey top and fuji were clear...
It's almost all pixels now... but I do like to use a film now and then
Tucked back in a neat hidey spot.

"A cache a day keeps the doctor away" - a pretty good fitness plan for 2021!
------------
- - Search at a good social distance whenever you can - or at least with nice clean friends - -
Things are slowly getting back to whatever normal might be - take it carefully!
Catching covid or gastro or anything really would mess up your streaks and challenges!
Keep away from all the nasty bugs ( except nice travel bugs of course ) Move them on!
[|)] - 2, 4, 6, 8,,, let's all go and vaccinate, one day when it's available lol !
[|)] - keep away from crowds as much as you can, they spread those nasty bugs! [:o)]
[|)] - go out and find or place some new caches in our safe country areas away from bugs!!
Life's good. Enjoy ! ! ! Cache the countryside!

Today I headed north to do the new caches published up around gawler and Kapunda. Despite light rain 16 finds for the day and 2 ftfs on the way home.

We mis-read the difficulty and terrain rating on this one and thought we might need a ladder. Instead our shortest team member found the hide very quickly. And we made the podium - that was a surprise!
