A lovely walk to find the cache. Great views and history of the lighthouse. Thanks for the cache ShannonPC
Today moonb1 and I headed south to Sandy Bay, Battery Point and Hobart itself until we needed a break and returned to our accommodation before heading to the waterfront for dinner for our last night as we fly back to Victoria tomorrow A fun location with that small lighthouse engulfed by that modern complex. Great views and a favourite point TFTC ShannonPC
An enjoyable short walk from the nearby event with the goose before heading to a cafe for a caffeine fix. Interesting spot. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
After the CITO at Nutgrove Beach, I came for a walk here with The Hancock Clan to find this cache. Mr H was all over it and it was soon signed and put away. Thanks ShannonPC
### Cache Maintenance Visit Required please.###This geocache has been brought to my attention as needing an Owner Maintenance visit, as the logs indicate that it is most likely missing, or else some other problem exists with the cache. See the [GCHQ Health Score](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713) process. It certainly needs to be checked by the Cache Owner. The cache owner needs to:* Take action to restore the cache or address issues such as correcting the D/T rating, or the posted coordinates.* Re-enable the cache by posting an Enable log* Post an Owner Maintenance log to advise what has been done and to clear any Needs Maintenance attribute that is present. Otherwise :* Post a Note Log to request more time if necessary or provide other information. **Do not use an Owner Maintenance log for this. That is for use only **when you actually do something to repair the cache**. Alternatively:* Archive the cache and remove any remaining geo-litter from the site.In the meantime, I've temporarily disabled the cache page to await owner action by ShannonPC and to take it off the playing board to prevent further inconvenience to our Geocaching Community.[Please see the maintenance section of the Geocache Hiding Guidelines.](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines?expand=1#cachemaintenance)**I will check back in 30 days** to see that action has been taken by the CO.If nothing has happened, I will conclude that the cache has been abandoned, and, unfortunately, I will need to Archive this cache. *Caches archived because of lack of maintenance/abandonment will not be unarchived.*The Geocaching Community needs to have a degree of certainty that a cache is in good condition and waiting to be found, and the CO has a responsibility to maintain their caches. Please see [my profile page](https://www.geocaching.com/p/default.aspx?u=Balayang) for additional information.Thank youBalayang -GeoffCommunity Reviewer
Had a thorough look and couldn't find it. Adding to the long list of DNFs...
I am not sure how long this will last, it is very hard to make it disappear in its location. But it was there this morning and I found it. I could see it from the path, thats why my opening comment. Thats my entry for the day.
If it was an easy find a couple of months ago, I suspect this one has disappeared
What a great spot! A good workout for the calves if you approach from the top! Tftc!
Couldn’t find it after 2 tries - may have been muggled. I really loved seeing the old bits of searchlight though
Found with my dad - so pleased to finally log this one! Thanks for a cache in a super interesting location.
After a short search, we eventually found it the map didn’t like me and we searched the wrong place, but overall nice find and nice bit of history
Found in record time while walking with my geo wife. I feel like I have been here before to get a cache many years ago.
Super!
Great!
For me, this will be the southernmost cache I will ever find!
I arrived from above, I even tried to climb on the roof and reason told me that it was a little simpler than that
The view is sublime and the walk to get here is really very nice!
Thanks ShannonPC for the cache!
Greetings from France

Took us a while at first. Found 5c in there and doubled it and gave it to the next person. TFTC
Took me a while to find this one as I took the clue a bit too far and dived in more deeply than I needed to! Got there in the end despite the rain though, TFTC )
Found it wasn't too sure where to look but looked through the previous comments and got some clues. All in good condition
Thanks ShannonPC for placing this cache. Found on 4/11/2022 at 2:16 pm. Great location. Thanks for bringing me here
On a 10 day trip to the Apple isle. Grabbing a few cache along the way. Thanks

On holiday in Tassie, staying in Hobart for a few days, walked along the foreshore til I got to this point and wondered if there may be some caches nearby. Got lucky I guess, 8m! TFTC
Someone should put some money in this and say “if you find the cache that if you comment something specific they’ll double it”.Could become a tik tok trend. Otherwise fun cache
According to S_38 we have been here before, but then too many people around to look. He went back awhile ago, and today together. I have no recollection of being here before, so I was totally excited about this spot! Incredible spot! The walkway is closed. So we parked in a different spot! Favourite for me!
Found.
The path under repair is great for giving some time to find unnoticed. Far less people walking around.

Thanks ShannonPC. I came down here more than a year ago but too many muggles and wandering GPS made it too difficult. Thankfully today was a nice peaceful easy find. I really like the history here. Favourite point for the location
Out and about with the Rafa family caching.TFTC TNLN log dry. A very quick stop to find this cache as I was parked down the lane, a no no. Walked to the sandstone staircase and down into the cavity of the searchlight then out to the surrounds and to the right, GZ and a quick find sign and replace and back to the car and off.

Quickly found with KingSmev, while killing time in Sandy Bay.

Weather: Pleasant autumn morning
Cache condition: Good
After a jog in Battery Point I was heading back to my MIL's place and stopped off here, parking near the shops. The path around the point was closed so it wasn't quite as pleasant a walk as I had hoped, but the views near GZ are still worth the journey which I knew as I'd been here before for a previous cache. Once at GZ it didn't take long to get CIH - TNLNSL TFTC

This was a pretty quick and easy find on a warm and windy day. Great location. TFTC
There is nothing in the cache to write with. Cache this size easily can hold small pen or pencil. Nothing in description indicates a writing implement is required.
Bag ripped along seam.

Pleasant walk. Great view of our home. Been here before for a previous cache. Muggles all over but ok because of the location.

Ooooh never been out here before! Was lovely with rain squalls out over the bay!!! Cache had a lul guardian overlooking the process, was sure to pop it back once duties completed. Cheers for a great cache location!!
A beautiful spot on the river. Very high foot traffic. However exploring the structure didn’t look suspicious at all! Forgot my pen so here’s a photo. No TB in situ
