No luck today. After searching for 15min. When a few muggles started turning up I thought Id call it quits. The a saw a couple of Anguss and thought maybe the CO had rocked up unfortunately not.
No doubt this one is there but we really didnt have too many ideas here, so much leaf litter about. Rummaging around a public toilet wasnt really on our fun agenda for today. TFTH
After raining all morning, kids and I headed out for a walk, Geocache and playground. This series had been on our list so to Hadspen we travelled. Mini-sqwash and I grabbed today at 410pm. And it's our first today. Had a look around on, under and in with no luck. Was a bit hard for me to get down and look as I'm recovering from surgery so I'm sure it's probably there but we couldn't find it before rain started
Found on a cold morning. Caching with Angus 88, thanks for placing this cache. A tricky hide
On a maintenance trip with my Geo Westies it was found that all is in order with Angus at Hadspen.
Having a 2 week holiday in Tasmania, staying close by, arrived at the car park and a muggle was there, had to wait her out while she was having a smoke in the car, finally she left and I was able to search in peace for the find. TFTC
This cache was checked today and is in place. I have replaced the log with a waterproof one.
In Tassie for the next few months. So many great places to visit and so many different caches to find.Just grabbing a few around the area on some country roads. This one took a bit of a search but eventually spotted. Thankfully no muggles about. Thanks Angus88 for placing the cache and doing the maintenance needed, so we can find this cache.
It is very unlikely that this cache has gone missing and it will be checked as soon as possible.
This my last Geocaching trip away in Tazzie for 2023, i have plans to grab about 10-12 hides before checking into my accommodation at 14:00, having a frothy or two then going for the usual walk to grab some more on foot before having tea. After an intense search i couldn't feel or locate a bison tube today. It's likely it's still there having recently being replaced so it's no doubt me... oh well, another day maybe. I did find one thing in abundance........ Spider Webs Can't sign those unfortunately I will keep an eye on the future logs on this one as i plan to be up here in 2024 a few times and would like to jag it.Thanks For The Challenge anyways, Angus88
Haha, I haven't looked for the changed cache location yet. Since cords changed, I was going to say that if it's attached to the toilet blocks, they move it when it floods until I have read the new description. I was going. What the hell? Why put it there? It may be destroyed or not be there... in my head...
With the help of GeoMaggie2 the coordinates were checked today and were found to be well within the acceptable range. Together, with the hint and the description, there should be no issue finding this one.
Coordinates changed from:
S 41° 30.608 E 147° 3.566
Coordinates changed to:
S 41° 30.603 E 147° 3.573
Distance from original: 44.1 feet or 13.4 meters.
The CO must have been in a dreamworld when placing Angus visits Hadspen in the last location - the tree is deciduous. It is now attached to a metal structure.

We got to GZ and found no, leaves, no fruit fly and definitely no cache. I’m sure we were in the right spot, but then again….

Our first cache in Tassie. Having fished here on the South Esk a long time ago before starting to geocaching. Great to be back.
Alas, was unable to find at precious location last year. A quick find this time. Place was nice and quiet today. TFTC
One last day in Tasmania before heading back to France. Was gathering here with the Tassie family for a picnic. One last cache in this part of the world. I won't forget that one. Thank you.
Hello Angus88 thank you for the cache
This was another great day caching with EeePees in the northern area of the state.
This cache was easily found after having some lunch.

Nice river! Sat down to lunch first, before wandering over to find this one.

I found it I was fishing then I look on here and seen that there was one right we’re I was sitting it took a bit but I found is
Me and Occelot09 found the geocach in a tree near the river but we forgot a pen so we had to ask a random person if they had a pen thay kindly gave us a pen and waited for us to give back after we were finished writing in the log book also shout out to Angus88 for hiding the geocash.
Found with Jimmybob5794
We didn't have a pen. We had to ask someone for a pen and had to wait about 10 minutes for a car to pull up we had ask one person before we found someone with a pen and found it within 5 minutes before the 10 minute waiting period we are young teenagers anyway. Geocaching on 11/4/23 around 11 o'clock
First Geocache logged...

Chanced across this cache yesterday whilst visiting this amazing little spot. Unfortunately was damaged and out in the open. I have removed the cache and contacted the owner.
Back home we decided to tackle the caches that have been published since our last visit to this area.
A quick find, cache and contents were in good condition.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

While staying at the Hadspen Caravan Park we headed out to find the nearest cache. TFTC
Found with catnap777 and with the CO's permission on our Geocaching holiday to Tassie doing what we love doing most. [:X]
We caught Angus88 doing some cache maintenance on this one after the flooding event that came up well past the back fence of my brother's old property that backs onto Lion Park.
It was a great opportunity to check out the old place and meet a new face.
We had been chased South a little early by the weather, catnap777 and I just set up camp down there for a little while longer which suited us just fine. We had a lot of geocaching business down Hobart way, and as far south as you can go, but now that much of the water up north had subsided, it was time to head back that way via the East Coast and a sharp left back to Devonport.
TFTC Angus88. It was an honour to meet you.
Every cache we visited in Tassie added to the joys of our holiday adventure finding caches in every county on the main Island during our 10 day visit. [^]

I have grouped this traditional cache generic log pertaining to each CO. I shall only deviate from the generic if there was an issue with the cache .
I would like to thank all of you for your time and effort in placing and maintaining your caches, and this generic log has nothing to do with disrespecting your time in placing them out there, as it has to do with time restraints due to the great number of caches my partner dalerious and I signed here.
EACH and every cache we visited was special, and we thank you so much. Most were chosen to qualify for Challenge caches both here and on the mainland .
There are too many of you to name individually so please accept that I acknowledge you all and I am truly grateful for your contribution and understanding .
We had this trip to Tasmania on our wish list very soon after we met. The meticulous planning began a few months ago when we finally set a date to sail to a place that I had been before, but never cached, and for dalerious, a place he cached, but never really got to see the real beauty of this place, and all it's glory. God's country about sums it up.
We started our adventure in the North West and traversed the entire Island in 10 days. We thought the weather was going to thwart our plans, but all it did was change the itinerary a tad.
Where back home was flooding, we had mostly sunshine here; apart from the North of your lovely state, and our thoughts were with those who were affected both here and at home.
Caches here took us to extraordinary places; one's we will never forget.
We also got to meet some cachers; we can't wait to meet the rest .

This cache has managed to stay in place through the flood but the log is all wet and soggy. May need replacing
Found as we explored a few areas on our short trip to Tasmania, hope we can return soon to add more smiles and see more places, glad we found another Angus cache, TFTC and the fun
Easy find today. Log is quite damp so pen had a bit of trouble signing. Pretty spot. TFTC
I needed to find a few caches in order to get a souvenir and this was one of the closest caches. No one around at this time of day. Getting the Angus caches ticked off.
Found this one while having lunch here on the way back from a job, the hanger was out in the open so it was easily spotted, after signing the log made sure it wasnt as visable. TFTC
Was on the way to launceston and stopped in here to look for this cache and stretch the legs.
Cache was quickly located and signed, before multiple cars rolled into the parking lot. TFTC

It was chilly for us Queenslanders here today, I thought I saw a little iceberg going down the river.
Found the prize without any dramas.

Muggles everywhere...early morning dog walkers and free campers. Will try later today. Enjoyed stomping through the leaves instead.
We have come to have a picnic with the kids and our dog Louis. He is a miniature schnauzer. Thanks
