We tried, but couldn't find this one today. In GZ there is lots of rubbish and even more unpleasent remains. Therefore our motivation to search all these items thoroughly was a bit limited.
Could not find it. Had to jump a fence to get to the coordinates and wasn't sure if we should have been there.
On a caching journey up to the north with Supernannny and Net61 to find some caches. Many kilometres were driven over a few days and many caches were found. Thanks to all the cache owners for the placements. Quick park and grab while driving through the area. TFTC
On a Road trip up north with Net61 and Jag50. This was a nice, easy find. Thank you.
The next one on our way to the gumdigger park. Best wishes from germany and thanks for the cache.
Thanks for your amazing cache. I really appreciate the time you took to set up and maintain your caches. Found with the help of Fisha1288. Cheers, Cympull.
Wondered around the bush and stumbled across it not knowing what it was

We made it way more complicated than it needed to be...! GPS position on the app seemed to be slightly out for us.
Very interesting listing
Finally had time to take the beautiful drive up to cape reigna, it’s always special to return here
And along the ride it was just great to be able to do some caching
Found well

Ruru_Nz and I on another road trip to complete this area of the Geotour before it finishes.
Hoped for a quicker stop but walked a bit on wrong direction. Then took long way to gz through spiders webs and tried braining myself on low flying tree branch. No blood from head this time.

Up from Southland with Cantabrian Kiwicampnut to get the final piece of the PWGT puzzle.
Day 7 - Kaitaia to Bay of Islands via Cape Reinga. Another long day.
Stopped to fulfil a missing month for Kiwicampnut. Sussed out the right place but took a while to extract logbook. Guess a TOTT should have left the car.
Thanks for the cache thedbees

JD found it. He likes to say, " see dear you have to stick with the experienced" , Thanks for hiding this cache nalawod, adopted by thedbees I appreciate it.
I jumped out of the van with a pre conceived idea of where it would be hidden, given the title. However, the gps led me in a very different direction, and the cache was soon located.
Thanks for putting this here

We are staying in the Bay of Islands this week, and decided to take a trip up to Kaitaia and Cape Reinga. This was the first cache we stopped for,and initially had trouble finding it, as it was not where we expected it to be. Geo-sense took over, and there it was. TFTC
Out on a maintenance run checking all the Nalawod caches I have adopted. Today was north of Awanui to the top.
My friend was heading up this way on a maintenance run having just taken over the nalawood caches. I enthusiasticly joined in as I have been meaning to come back up this way for ages. My last visit was in 2018 and there have been quite a lot of caches placed since then.
This was our second stop for the day. A quick find for us and the cache was all good. The roads today were pleasingly quiet. I don't think I saw a single logging truck all day. Thanks for the interesting cache description. Some places we visited today in the Far North definitely seemed a bit poverty stricken. With the Maungamuka gorge out of action yet again for a long while it'll only be harder for these communities. Thanks thedbees for adopting all these caches

#11,525. Stayed the night in Kaitaia and now heading up to the Cape. Will pick up various geocaches on the way. I parked and headed to what I thought was the GZ but no its over there. Peered in and spotted the cache sitting out in the open. Its clearly rolled out of its normal hiding spot. Signed the logbook and placed the cache in the spot best matching the hint about 2 metres from where I found it. Thanks nalawod for placing the cache here and thedbees for adopting it.
Took a little time to find this one but got there in the end! Didn’t sign log as couldn’t get the log out of its container. TFTC
Not often you find on same day as another Geocacher who is not traveling thru too.
The recent cloud burst would have helped the peat fires but not me. Left my calling card here. Cheers
Day 7, Wednesday 26 January - Tokerau to Cape Rienga and back today with Toby and Lenny. Then over to Mangonui and Hihi before returning to Tokerau Beach. Zara gets a rest at Tokerau Beach. Got caught in a cloud burst later today. Incredible after 15min of rain there were creeks running down the side of hills as wide as Toby where there was green grass earlier. Then it was crossing the road over 150 to 200mmm deap and there were 3 crossings withina 1 kilometer stretch. So lets get exploring!
Zara, Toby, Lenny and I are on our North Island expidition for a couple of weeks. Got The Seagnoid along for the first 4 days, heading to the Auckland Mega. PWGTs and TMGTs are on the radar for this trip. Lots of driving on gravel roads and visited lots of amazing places on our 6000km road trip snagging 200+ caches along the way. Visiting Cape Reinga, Bay of Islands, Gisborne and White Rock along our journey. Another awesome trip. Thanks to all CO's.

Didn’t take long to track this one down.
Travelled up from Dunedin for my first Mega event and wanting to sign off some geotour caches as well in Auckland and Northland.
Thanks for the cache, nalawod

Coords seemed a little off, but a bit of cacher logic and was soon in hand. Drive past here all the time so interesting to read a little about it. TFTC
Quick find on my return from Pukenui to collect the northernmost PWGT cache. A nice easy find in a well hidden but easily accessible spot. TFTC.
Heading north with DaffyNZ to collect a few solved puzzles and other caches.
A nice quick find in the hint location. TFTC

Rocked you to GZ to find someone parked nearby, he most of thought I was using the bushes for a wee stop, as next minute he was off..
19 June 2021 15:24. I must be getting tired, missed this one as well, phone GPS pointed to the middle of the paddock...
Another day, another drive around beautiful Northland looking for caches. Today we're heading to the Far North to look around a few spots from my family's history - my dad grew up here in the 1930s where my grandmother was the doctor.
We are heading north a little bit to head for a geotour cache and decided to pop in here for a bit to let the hound stretch his legs and I dived in to see if I could find a cache. Looked in the wrong place at first but once I adjusted my hunting spot I found it nice and quickly.
Main issue was getting the log out so had to wander back to the car to get a set of tweezers and that did the trick - signed in and then replaced as found. Thanks for the cache - all good here.

I moved my snail shell from Opononi to Tokerau Beach and had a Grandad nap in the afternoon. So it wasn't until today that I decided to sign off a few PWGT caches and any others that got in my way.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
GPS was a little misleading at first but we eventually found it after ending up in a paddock
Good luck
