Came along here on my bike today grabbing a couple of caches. No problems here with no one around, TFTC
Thankyou for the cache my son loved seeing the animals and finding the cache
Paddle chick and I needed some caches for our challenges it took awhile before the cache was located it didn't help the phone going all over the place.Thhanks for placing this cache Sidewaze
Having walked past the coords and GZ nearly every day since the first lock down, I only just realised that there was a cache here! Quick to decode & find with local knowledge. Watch out for a very active wasp nest in the hollow object by GZ.
It took me just a minute or two to figure out which one was which, and how to convert to coords. I was hoping the owners would come out so I could compliment them on their decorations.
At GZ, I was tempted to look around the big red herring, but I stuck to the hint and found the cx. TFTC.

Almost missed a couple that were hiding in the bushes but managed the identification and maths then headed off to the final. Andy spotted and retrieved but then went back to the car and left replacing to me after I had signed the log. tftc

Had this earmarked to do for awhile finally got round to getting to GZ today cache found and log signed - thanks for the cache
I wish I'd taken a picture of the nearby red hot pokers which were actually yellow. I have some dwarf ones at home but I had to put them in a pot or they would have taken over. I love their Latin name: Kniphofia even tho it is spelt in such a ridiculous way. Tftc
A nice quick find thanks. A fun wee start to the multi.
Ms_KR and I are off on a wee road trip to Nelson. Today we cruised around Motueka, after the morning rain had stopped.
Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches. Cheers.

I made a mess of the numbers last time I stopped here, but with more time today I caught my mistake. Liked the excuse to visit the area where the final is also. Many locals probably haven't been down there. Thanks very much!

A neat feature to base a multi cache on, I enjoyed visiting this spot. Easy solve & a quick park, grab & photograph for the find
A wee trip out to my home town this morning, always a trip down memory lane when we go caching in Motueka We started with a trip to the market & I snapped up 2 Aubergines for $2 Then dumplings at the market from our fav dumpling shop that has a stall in the market every Sunday, a few targeted caches for RNZ then off to Upper Moutere to Katie Golds studio to buy a house warming gift for RNZ sister & a little something for me....be rude not too!! A lovely few hours out with my favourite cacher

RG spotted the feature as we drove up, and we did this one from the comfort of the car. Checksum worked first time, and the cache find was a simple when it could have been in a much more substantial hiding place.
TFTC Sidewaze and FP for spotting this and making a cache from it.
Today we decided to head out to Motueka in the early afternoon after a few chores at home.
On the agenda today was some shopping at the Motueka market, lunch at one of our favourite eateries there, and purchasing a house warming gift for my sister on the way back through Upper Moutere.
There was the small matter of a few caches too. A nice little bag today - some nicely themed trads, a letterbox, a FDF on a new mystery and a multi as well. Thanks all COs, had a great day.

I hadn't planned on coming to Mot today. Has it happened turned out M10 didn't have what I wanted, but I did find a cache or two. Fun cache. TYFTC
A quick solve and also a quick find - after I'd read the logs and hint. Pretty cold and wet at the GZ. All in good order, signed log and replaced as found. Thanks Sidewaze for the puzzle and cache.
Other priorities lately has meant geocaching has had to take a back seat but today we decided it was long overdue that we take some time out for a drive in the country and find a few caches.
We tried to do this pretty much from the car but the checksum didn't agree so we did what any sensible person would do and get out of the car and within seconds Hazedarus had spotted where we went wrong. After that it was just a matter of heading off to GZ to make the find.
Thank you Sidewaze.

After a period of relative inactivity we decided that today was a good day for caching. So after three caches around Wakefield we thought it a good idea to head for Motueka and surrounds and then cache our way back home. We had a successful day and made this our last cache. I felt a bit lazy and was going to get the coords without getting out of the car. No such luck with the checksum in disagreement. So under a loud welcome of the canine residents I could muster enough focus and realise my error. After making friends the coords were assembled and we had a quick find. A fav for the twist. Thank you Sidewaze
When this was first published I tried to visit the zoo from the comfort of my lazy boy, but the numbers didn't result in anything that looked logical so I left it.
I was over this way a few weeks ago and I came and took some photos and worked out the final once I got home.
Today we needed to find four finds so we thought a loop through Motueka was likely to result in the numbers we needed.
Neither of us have been to this area before so it was good to have a wee look around while we were here.
The cache was an instant find, the log was signed and returned as we found it.
Thank you for the multi and thank you for the smiley

The weather forecast wasn't good and the sky was a deep dark grey but the rain held off while I was out caching today! I headed for Motueka and a few new(ish) caches that had popped up since my last visit out this way. A nice multi here. Hadn't noticed these features before. Got the numbers and checked the checksum. Off to the final location where I interpreted the hint a bit too literally. Had a better look around and spotted the hiding place. TFTC, Biggles.
I had collected the numbers for this one last time I was caching over this way but didn’t go and find it that day due to a few challenges and goals that I'm working on. Today I wanted a multi so picked this up on my way to Golden Bay. You couldn’t even see the hill from here as it was covered in cloud and mist so I made the decision to head back home. But after doing some errands in Motueka and having two long conversations with people I hadn’t seen in ages it had cleared a bit and it looked ok on the web cam over there so changed my mind yet again.
This was a fun cache to do thanks Sidewaze and it makes good use of the feature. TFTC # 17,103

Out on another mission needing four finds today.
A nice newly published one for my first. No dogs today. I think that the owner ws mowing the lawn so the dogs couldn't hear me!
Cool fence. Got the checksum on my first try. That doesn't happen often with me and Multi's. A short drive and a quick find followed.

Found it with no.13. However no container and the log book was lying on the ground nearby with the page of previous loggers torn out. If looks like kids may have been playing in the GZ Final area. We decided it would be better moved slightly out of the way and is now is in another container by a fence post under bark (close by). Advised cache owner. Great little multi. Tftc
Enjoyed doing the multi with Ulmuslynx, we were greeted by the dogs but they soon disappeared when they realised what we were there for.
Found the log book on the ground. Notified cache owner.
Thank you for the cache and the multi

We had forgotten this new cache when we planned the caching circuit but it fitted in well. We could almost get the final coordinates from the car but not quite as the check sum showed. Oh, so that is there!! A quick find at GZ before heading into the town for lunch.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I missed the notification because I was out sailing, but found it easily enough. TFTC!
I was on the way to pick up my paddle buddy and head to Kaiteriteri for a paddle when my phone when nuts with new caches so while she was putting her gear in my car I checked my phone, one new one in Mot how could we say no. I was happy to wait until after the paddle but she insisted we get the cache first. My grandmother lived on High Street South just before the corner of Wildman Road and that's where Nanzie grew up, we only sold the house last year. I can't say I've noticed the zoo before but I used to play in the area of the final as a young kid. It's probably 35 years since I was last there though. It only took a couple of secs to find the cache and very happy to find an empty log, now its time to get on the water. Thanks for the cache and FTF Sidewaze

SJT_NZ and I were about doing some caching maintenance so parked across the road and was at the dogs. Success with the check sum and a short drive to the final which was a quick find. Thanks Sidewaze for a nice little multi relating to a fence we have always admired.
