This Cigar Store Indian can be found inside of Papa's Pizza Parlor http://www.papaspizza.net/ in Salem Oregon, USA. I found it a few months ago but when I went to get the photo the camera wouldn't agree with me. I was back in the area today and stopped for the photo and grabbed a pizza for lunch with the family at the same time. Thanks for the cache.
Since I saw this listing a month and a half ago, I have not had my camera everytime I drove past Hotel Jonas in Jonas PA. Great place to eat at either the salon or in the dining room! Top 5 Pocono places to eat in my book!
Coords are outside the restaurant on the corner of Rte 534 & Jonas Road.

Ned'S Cigar STore in Newtown Pa located on Main Street. This quaint town has been around since 1710. If you want to go back in time this town is the place to visit. In the front window of Ned's is his wooden indian. Sorry about the glare in the pictures.
Located in Land O' Lakes, FL, USA, just about a mile from our home. This tobacco shop is one mr. pazooter used to frequent. But now he has been a non-smoker for 6 years! Yahoo! Anyway, we decided to take a chance that they might have added a Cigar Store Indian inside. And, yes indeed! Here is a very handsome fella!
The tobacconist around the corner from me has this guy inside. It is located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The sales guy was too busy to help me with the picture, but I did ask permission to take the photo.
This cigar store indian is owned by my uncle Chuck. He is very proud of it. It is very old and is holding a fist full of cigars. He lives in Pekin Il.
Found this one in a Railroad Mueseum in Perris California. Wooden and even split through the face.

I only know of one true tobacconist in Liverpool, and that is Turmeaus Tobacconist, 16 Water St, Liverpool, Merseyside L2 8TD. A check of the logs revealed that mongoose39uk has already logged the indian chief outside this shop on 23rd August this year.
However, as I walked passed this lunchtime, I saw there were more smaller indians inside the entrance, and around the shop - in fact a whole tribe of them!
I went in and asked the owner is I could photo a couple and he obliged, he even pointed out several others around the shop. He even has a british version - a carved bulldog holding cigars!
Photos are a bit dark as its indoors and the flash has paid more attention to the GPS than the statues

This one was found in front of an antique store in Pleasant Prairie Wi. Unfortunately, the store was closed for the winter and the parking lot was not plowed, so all I could get was a window shot from the street. Hope it still counts.
Two for the price of one. These are in the Palace Cigar in Oneonta, NY. By myself so couldn't get me in picture.
Found this neat one at T&C Tobacco Company in Town & Country MO. I took the picture through the storefront window. Forgot to hold up my GPS..
This handsome gentleman is located outside a gift shop in Brooksville, FL. He is one of a pair, and his "brother" has already been logged. TFTC

Liberty Car Sales - Roseville, CA
This one is in the same building as the5Bucks log, but a different fellow about 50 feet away. The are many of these in this car dealership which begs the question; which do they sell more of: cars or Cigar Store Indians? The first picture I snapped was by far the best and I plan on actually finding out the going price. Happy trails.

This Indian is in Deadwood bar and grill at the entrance. This is one of my favorite restaurants because they serve wildgame. It is located in Northville MI.
This guy is standing on the sidewalk outside of Ye Old Cigar Shoppe in Temecula, CA. I see there was another Temecula post, but that one was inside of an antique store. This one is chained to the wall outside a cigar shop!
THIS IS AN INDIAN THAT I FOUND WHILE STOPPING IN WHEELING WVA IT IS LOCATED ON MAIN STREET NEAR THE NEW GERRO MUSIC STORE...TFTC...RAGEXN!!!
Found this one right on the Las Vegas Blvd on a return trip to our hotel at The Monte Carlo..
Visiting Las Vegas with a group of girl friends, we had a blast. We had spent the night at Freemont Street watching the shows down there. We came back to see the Bellagio fountain show and we were just strolling when I saw this one.
SPAZ and Lady D were with me and I grabbed my GPS and said I gotta get it, hang on. Lady D was so funny on this one. Earlier in the day she kept asking is this a cache etc etc and she saw a large Indian Statue and said are Indian Statues caches and I replied no I don't think they are. So when I saw this one and got so excited she said, " I thought you told me Indians were not caches ",she was very quick on the draw. We got a laugh on that one. I proceeded to explain it had to be a Cigar Store and she settled down haaaaaaaaaaaa
Thanks for keeping your eyes open for caches though Lady D!!!
Delighted with the find!
Thanks from Newfoundland, Canada! Pooh Bear

Found this nice wooden cigar store indian in Jerseyville Illinois. Bought a few cigars from him too....
I came across two cigar store indians outside of a cigar store in Georgetown, on Grand Cayman Island. When I got home, I discovered Phat.bak logged the one on the left on December 9, 2004. I'll claim the one on the right since it hasn't been logged yet!
These are two colorful, traditional wooden carvings, and unlike a lot of "wooden idians" these days, they are actually holding wooden cigars. A dying piece of history and artform...

We found 4 of these Indians close together. They seem to be quite popular on this tourist street.
After a full day of caching in Sylva, NC, I found this handsome fellow just standing around puffing away on his pipe. Since it was getting a bit chilly outside, he was inside the restaurant (Nick & Nates) where we ended up our day with a hearty dinner. I invited him to join us but he “wooden†consider it. He said something about preferring to simply stand around and puff on his pipe. However, he did permit me to have my picture taken with him.
I had been looking for a long time then Sturday I found this beauty in front of the Waccatee Zoological Farm in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Not sure if anyone has already logged this one. Posting images of the Indian and his cowboy pal at the Outpost, a truck stop along I-15. Coords are just outside the cafe.
The truck driving Mr ArmadilloJakyl found this inside a truck stop in Oklahoma. This is the best he could do, there was no room behind him to back up and this is the best picture he could get. Putting the GPS in the pic. made the indian blury. It is made of wood and hand carved. TFTC!

The Cigar Store Indian is Located at the Cherokee Gift shop and resturant on Jenkins Lane Dallas Pike,WV This is right off I70. in Ohio County. The Indian has been moved inside for the Winter months which get pretty nasty in West Virginia. It is a hand carved hand painted Cigar Store Indian circa. 1897 TFTC Photos in cncluded
This is Sievert's Tobacco Limited on Barrington Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. The store owner told me the large indian was hand carved in the Philippines and cost him about $1,500. He had to replace it as a woman insisted she buy his last one to decorate her bedroom!
Then there was the story about the cops who wanted to borrow the indian to put in their cop friends' house to scare the crap out of him when he came home from an evening shift...there are no bullet holes in this one.

This cigar store indian stands guard in front of a Fortino's grocery store smoke shop in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.
Had been wanting to find a cigar indian for months. Driving home last night, Jerry looked over and saw this Indian in front of the Rocky Mt. Connection, a new store that opened not far from our home in Tulsa, OK. Jerry suggested we come back another day and I said no way, I went across two lanes of rush hour traffic to the light so I could turn back and grab this locationless.
Located this one while on vacation in Ocean City Maryland, It was full sized but they had it up high! Thanks for making me look.
This Cigar Store Indian is in the center of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. In one of the most tourist places of the city.
Greetings.

Found a whole family of Wooded Indians Just off I-40 in Custer City, Oklahoma. I had to check the coordinates to find outwhere I was. I thought I was in New Mexico.
Found this one with Escanaba from Boise, Idaho while we were looking for a lunch spot in Riverside, California. Fun find!
Escanaba and The Huckleberry Hound Dog found this Cigar Store Indian on the University Avenue sidewalk in Riverside, CA. TFTC.
This building, once the center of trade in Gent, is now the post office. He is holding a pipe and a sheaf of tobacco. While not exactly a cigar store wooden carving, this is a carved indian image used to promote the sale of tobacco. Not exactly what I expected to find here!
Found this CSI outside the Gas City on the corner of Valencia & Kolb in Tucson, AZ. TFTC!

I found this indian at Blair Candy Co. in Altoona, Pennsylvania. They are wholesalers for candy, cigars etc. It was actually carved by a gentlemen in Hollidaysburg, PA who does it with a chainsaw. My children and I watched him carve it one day on our way home from school. Imagine my excitement when we found him again at Blair Candy.
I finally found one that hasn't been logged. I found this one the day of the store's grand opening. I passed by every day hoping they would have an indian and as soon as they put him up, I was on it.
Caching today with Bushwack Bob when we found this awesome specimen of hand carving! Our wooden Indian was located in Langsford SP near Lancaster, SC.
Spotted this one outside a small shop in NJ. Hope it counts, as I'm not sure if it's one of the prefabs mentioned. TFTC!
Found outside of a very hidden cigar shop in Niagra-on-the-Lake, Ontario, Canada. It is made of wood.
Found this one in Indian Hills, Colorado. This is not a good picture - I'll go back on Monday and take a better shot.

Caching with mountainborn in Poteau OK saw this Indian on the way to a cache. Stopped by for a quick photo. Thanks.
Saw this at a roadside store on the way to Royal Gorge, Colorado, USA. Hope I can count it. I remembered about this locationless, and have 3 witnesses who will vouch for the fact I stopped just for this, but I did forget to place a shot of me and the GPS in the photo. Vort.
Found him in front of John Craig Clothiers on Park Avenue in Winter Park, FL - (there's another one down the street in front of the cigar store, but unfortunately, he's already been claimed)
This cigar store indian was inside The Seacliff Inn in Aptos, CA. Notice that the indian DOES have cigars in his hand.
Found this beauty at Seneca Junction, NY. It's on the Seneca Reservation at the smoke shop.
Found this guy on the way to another locationless (hurry hurry, the clock is ticking). He is sitting atop El Cid's Tobacco Boutique at 41st & Sheridan in Denver, Colorado.
Found this Cigar Store Indian in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The store is called Portsmouth Market Square. My picture doesn't show that this Indian was holding cigars. This market is for convenience & tourist items including cigars.
John needed to do a little shopping at the store to the left of this indian. There are actually two quite large indians at this location!
This cigar store indian graces the storefront of La Salle Cigars in Montclaire, CA. A plaque at his feet reads:
"Cigar Indian. Hand sculptured one-of-a-kind original."
and then has a registered serial number that I couldn't quite make out.
Been on the lookout for one of these forever - and found a few "cheap imitations" before finding the real thing. Thanks!

The Arcade between Fourth and Fifth Avenues parallel to Union Street remains as a unique and busy retail feature in downtown Nashville more than a century after its May 20, 1903, grand opening.
Shoppers and visitors to its post office can look up past its upper gallery toward the sunlight streaming through its gabled glass roof and imagine being in Europe. It originally housed close to 50 shops and offices and was inspired by similar structures in Italy, where Daniel Buntin had visited in 1901.

I noticed this Cigar Store Indian had to get a second job at a body shop. Located in Stillwater,OK on highway 51/6th St. He is in need of some sealant very badly. TFTC
My wife and I have been caching since 2002 but lately her interest has been perked by the waning to waymarking locationless caches. We had had lunch while doing some extensive cache maintanance hiking. The place was Bear Creek for smoked beef and pork! While there Mr. LLG kept commenting on the taxidermist work while tasting some of the best pit BBQ in the state of Maryland bar none! He also briefly glanced at a Cigar Store Indian he had noticed a few times before.
After lunch this LLG group headed on to continue extensive cache maintanence of 4 archives and 4 hides.
In route to the first after lunch stop Mrs. LLG started explaining about locationless caches ending and going to waymarking. She happened to have a bunch on her PDA and was telling Mr. LLG as he stopped for a certain Barber Pole one in Great Mills. On the way to the great Crab Pot replacement of caches she mentioned, among many, one about siting a Cigar Store Indian.
WOW! PRESTO! WHAM! ZAM! BAM! Bulb is illuminated at full wattage!!
Mr. LLG explains we have to go back were we ate lunch at Bear Creek BBQ in Callaway St. Marys County Maryland and check out the Cigar Store Indian in the Dining room area of the restaurant!
Mrs. LLG was almost convinced it was worth the try! It was because here stood a bonafide Cigar Store Indian resplendent while holding his stoagies in his left arm!

I saw this Indian while driving on Ventura Blvd (just W of Zelzah) in Tarzana Calif (part of the City of Los Angeles). I parked around the corner and went to look at it but the people inside made it obvious that they didn't like my camera. So I had to leave and take side shots, which still show the cigars held in the Indian's left hand.
While driving to Las Vegas to see "Frozen Fury 8" we stopped in Primm @ Buffalo Bills to ride the Roller Coaster. Inside I spotted this Indian in front of a smoke shop. A unexpected little bonus for the day. Glad I grabbed one of Tommy Trojans Lucky Pennies earlier in the day!!! TFTL
Found this one outside a tobacco shop on Chorro Street in San Luis Obispo, California.

Found this Indian located in Fink, Texas (Grayson County). He is out front of the Shawnee Liquor store. It's a good thing he's out in the middle of nowhere. The first time I took his picture, the close-up with the GPSr did not come out and I did not notice it until I was getting ready to claim my find. However, no one else noticed him in the meantime and I got back out to his location to take another picture of him with the GPSr today as the sun was setting.

This Wooden Indian is outside the M&M smoke and gas station at the Seneca Junction which I believe is the town of Carrolton, New York. This was a fun find, gas people thought I was nuts.
This was found in Jackson,TN at the Old Country Store. This is a handcarved indian with cigars. This is a good stop along interstate 40 for a good country meal and stop in the train depot of Casey Jones across the street. TFTLC
