WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 11 - Port Lincoln Day. The day started with caches around the town area and a bit of shopping. I also managed to do the Statue Labs whilst having a walk along the fore shore area. With all the chores out of the way, I started following the coast to the south towards Tulka following a nice walking trail and ending up at the gates of the National park. This gave me plenty of free time in the afternoon to catch up on logging. One more New county tomorrow as I head to Ellistion, although there do not seem to be as many caches on the west coast of the Eyre Peninsula.I did a run of caches along the coast here down to the entrance to the national park. Quite a variety, some harder than others. but all found without any problems. Thanks for the cache wheres_wolly_sharon46651.21 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2016 Daoine Sidhe & the Fairy Rings A#350**Albida**
Staying in Port Lincoln for 3 nights. Now to get a mix of sightseeing and caching
OCW PelDroedGwin (Peppa stayed in the caravan today) Enjoyed a nice walk along the Investigator Trail, took a slight detour over to this one. Overlooked it a few times, convinced it would be somewhere else ! Tftc
Ocw the Bebes as we visit PL. came for a nice walk along the shoreline today. Found the item hanging around the area. Tftc

Went for a coordinate check after a couple of cachers noted they were out. Updated to more accurate coords.Happy Caching and safe travels!
3rd attempt at this one... had a couple helpers with me this time, but it was me who found it - almost by accident! The co-ordinates are a fair way off - you need to be close to the fence.
Ths was my second try at this one. It's not where the map says it is -- you need to look 4 or 5 meters away.
Wow after 3 attempts we finally found the easiest cache I have ever seen!!! TFTC
Staying in Port Lincoln for a few days, checking out what the town has to offer. Today we spent all day touring around the Lincoln National Park. This cache is one that was found on the way past today.

Found while visiting Port Lincoln, camping out overnight in Lincoln National Park during a trip to Eyre Peninsula for a few days. Thanks for the cache wheres_wolly_sharon!
Nice hide and terrifying memory no doubt. So many on the Peninsular ! Out on trusty treadles aka the MTB exploring the trail and sights. Finally in Port Lincoln with time ahead to stop in this lovely well kept historic town. Day 17 in SA after numerous trips were sabotaged due to you know what and its a fab day. The Ikera- Flinders Ranges, Whyalla, Port Lincoln and a few in between caches are high on the list along with several other random caches so hoping to tick all boxes before heading back to home base. I’ve learnt theRE are plenty of quality SA caches - plenty to pique the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game.

Beautiful day to be out caching with iluvtrekking. We’ve experienced fire almost on our doorstep this past summer at home. Frightening. Thanks where’s wolly
Best cache find yet, took a few tries to find it but we’ll worth it, no need to get passed the fencing. GL!
Out for the morning with The X-Trailers and after a great drive along the shore of the lake completing the trail with some speccy scenery and photo opportunities we stopped off here. [^]
The rain had started to get heavy but we found the cache in the hanging tree a little way from where our coordinates had us.
Thanks for the cache whereswolly.

Wasn’t too sure what a bison tube was but we found it and didn’t take too long.
On our way back from Memory Cove with ilook4geo we also wanted to pick up some of the caches available around the area. This was one that we found quite easily and both names were soon added to the log. Thanks go to wheres wolly for placing this cache.
