Suscoe was homeward bound today. On the way we had decided to enjoy a little bit of caching in the Pakenham area.It was a mild day and once we had negotiated the C422 bridge closure we found a few caches as we went on our way.We enjoyed a good range of locations and hide. Thanks to KmanNZ for this cache along this walking track.
Out and about on night adventures with SteMicMitSar and KristyAdventures prior to the flash mob yearly event at 3am in Officer. It was dark and wet and our feet were soaked through now. Luckily we made the find here without too much trouble.Thank you for the cache here KmanNZ
*Found on the 14 Sep 2024 @ 2:38AM.**Cache find # 15787.* Twas the night of the 3am event so why go to bed when there are caches to be found.I met up with OSHFAM & KristyAdventures for some night adventures before it was time to head off to the event.I had done all of this trail except for number 1 and 2 as I think at the time I could not access the area, the girls were kind enough to agree to head over to these 2 as that was all the time we had so that I could finally finish this trail. The cache was found without any trouble.**Thanks to KmanNZ for keeping the game going by placing this cache.**
The crazy things we do on a geocaching search.. before a flash mob! This cache was located by Stecmicmitstar whilst I was trying to distract myself from the fact that it is 2.45am, my feet are soaking wet and dreaming about some hot chips. I'm glad he found it quickly as I started to see people wandering about in the dark... or perhaps shadows playing about in the moonlight.
Tried to blend into the tree as the bin truck went past. Found this collection with relative ease but still enough of a challenge for a park, walk and grab. Tftc and the series.
Today Neville_devil and I had to drive my Uncle back to his Aged Care facility in Pakenham after spending Christmas in Geelong with is and the Family. After two hours driving I was in need of somewhere to walk and stretch the legs before the journey back home. The weather held of just long enough for us to manage the first five of this series just long enough to give me some driving relief and get the legs working again.Thank you KmanNZ for the series
We were up in Pakenham with a few hours to spend, so of course I went caching. After completing a Multi cache, I had time to get at least the first of this series. I needed the help of The Walking Ladder to reach the cache and replace. My short legs werent adequate for this job today.
Easy find but to high to reach but we finally got it down and log it with Dot 558
I came out this way to find some caches. The only ones I preplanned was this series, so that's where I started. This one took me longer than the others in the series. Many thanks to KmanNZ for the cache.
Not the direction we thought we were going but it's always nice to mark a logbook. Thank you
This cache was my favourite for the trail. It was different to most of the others and proved a bit more of a challenge. I read through some other logs to get a hint about where to look and then I soon spotted it.
Found it! Not happy Jan!! A very frustrating time had here. The terrain rating and attributes would indicate this is a straightforward cache to find. I needed to find 14 more before midnight and I thought these would suit a quick power trail. But I was wrong. I spotted the cache and fortunately I am tall enough to reach it but I couldn’t get the cache back together again. What to do. I had noticed a pile of hard rubbish near by that included a car battery, a perfect step up. After fetching it, I was soon a foot taller and cache was back together. Hopefully the next 6 would be more straightforward! Anyway TFTC SL. Mm, the cache will only become more out of reach as the tree grows. The terrain rating should be adjusted and a suggestion to finders to byo ladder or stool.

We found it but we couldn’t sign it because we were too short ️ thanks for a great find!
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to KmanNZ for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Decided to go for a walk with the kids along this trail. This was our first find, and a pretty quick one. In good condition.
Found it but too short to reach it, muggles in area meant tree climbing not an option. Will come back and log with a taller person
The tree had been pruned and cache had gone with it.
New cache installed- same type.

We searched for a few minutes without luck and given the recent DNFs we soon headed off.
Nearly sprung by a couple of cyclists using the path, but just made my way across the road as cover
Now to make my way back to the other end and enjoy a walk I wouldn't have otherwise taken if it weren't for this series

A super quick find here! We could literally see it from the road! Lol so this was a quick sign then replace it as found! TFTC!
Out and about with my sister beckgiz, its been awhile so we are out adventuring the backstreets in search of cache numbers :3

A quick set of geocaches on a very hot afternoon.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this series of geocaches along this trail. Watch out for poop bags as the walkers bag their dog poop and tghen thrown is, along with the bag, into the trees and bushes. Some areas a like a mine field when searching.
*Overall Experience: 3*

Out early today picking up some caches before the event at Mt Cannibal this morning. With a busy hour or two grabbing some caches before heading to the event and then heading to a belated Christmas lunch. All and all was a great little caching outing and can't wait to be back in the area.

I enjoyed collecting a few of the caches in this series. It is pleasing to see trails and small parks that have been included in the new housing estates .. perfect for geocaching.. this was a really quick find . Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache KmanNZ
Feeling a bit lazy, we found that we could get close to this one without too much effort.
We will definitely come back another day and check out the rest of this series.
This cache was found quite quickly just hanging there.
Thanks KmanNZ for placing these caches around here.
Chiefton!!!

We found this cache today on our Officer to Pakenham Morning Caching Run. On the O/P trail now to be the last few caches for the day. Thanks from D & HA B-A
Nice sunny day with the kids having a mental health day before going back to school after a long lockdown. Nice simple find for the kids
I’m trying to fill in some dates on my calendar so this one was today’s. A nice easy find by my teammate with the coordinates spot on. We even saw some swans and their babies just around the corner which was a lovely bonus. We stopped to have a look & take some photos and for some reason daddy swan took offence, ran up to the car all angry and puffed up, he even chased us as we carefully drove off, an interesting way to finish the experience LOL
Thanks KmanNZ
Thanks KmanNZ
The sun was starting to come out after what had been a very dreary morning so we decided to leave the chores and head to Pakenham an go for a little bit of a walk to pick up this small series. We really enjoyed the exercise and the hides were all well thought out not to be seen by the home owning muggles. Unfortunately we did have trouble with number 2 and even went back for a second look after we finished the last one before declaring it a DNF.
Many thanks KmanNZ for the nice walk and the hides on this very enjoyable little series.

This one took a bit of searching and then something caught my eye. Walking to the correct side and was soon filling in the log sheet.
Thanks for all your caches today KmanNZ

With Restrictions easing once again I could now go caching with My caching Mate Omegaman1971, We were glad the Metro, Regional restrictions were now over, I live in Regional but he lives in Metro.
As always there was plenty of Banter and laughs as we made our way around finding caches.

Out on a lock down walk, late in the evening with MsSmokeyBear. Quick find in the bitter cold. TFTC
Jumped out of the car here and with only about half an hour of light left in the day I had to move fast to finish off this series. Well not quite, got 2 left. TFTC

**Find #4720**
**Traditional Find #2942**
I headed to Pakenham to collect some things I'd bought off Facebook and whilst here, took the time to find these caches. No problem finding most but I did need two goes at finding number 4 and failed to find number 5. I'm glad to be home now and out of the wind.

Found at 1:20 pm.
I was in this area today for an errand and after that had plenty of spare time so I took out the scooter and cruised around the trails looking for caches. Gee it's good mid-week instead of the weekend like I usually cache, there are so many less muggles.
I then headed down this new trail and had a lot of trouble at #6 so moved on and came back to it and ... still didn't find it. Most of the others were located in less than a minute though. It was a nice ride down this trail.
Someone jammed the logbook so hard into this cache that I signed it while still stuck in there because I had no other tool to remove it.
Thanks KmanNZ for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Today we found #1 Officer/Pakenham Trail on our travels. We needed to find some caches to keep our Jasmer up to date, these fitted the bill nicely.
Thanks KmanNZ for being part of our geocaching fun.

And it is now 4 finds in a row for Geogirl . She’s on a roll but we’re about to head back to the Geomobile now.
I was just talking about dinner, when these geocaches got released. No thought was even taken, it was just grab the keys and go. This is my territory after all, but also because we were looking at doing something similar along this new path. We had even scouted out hides.
From time of publication, to when I found this geocache at 4.55 pm, it was a whole 10 minutes. That includes time wasted walking past it, while messaging the 2 closest known Geocachers.
Thanks for the cache K Man NZ

Out at a friend's house in pakenham I see this new trail was published. Thought we gotta stop there on the way home to see if we could scored another FTF but wasn't our luck. Got beaten to it. Was dark by the time we were looking for it. Have to come back and finish off the trail next time. TFTC
Found this one with SneakyGeokids while walking down the track with Hunter999 who scored the first on it earlier.
