Came out to Indooroopilly to do some shopping and get out of the rain. Well that was until I decided to grab this cache across from the plaza. An easy find but I got soaked getting to and from the cache.TFTC
Ahaa! Found the little blighter in our second pass. Guided by the good hint it sure helped. Thank you.
Sunday morning might not have been the best time to hunt for this one but I got lucky and this area was somewhat quiet apart from the work happening in the shed, cache was in one of the likely spots and was soon in hand. Now to enjoy the shade and get some lunch. TFTC.
The road works in the area made it interesting to find a place to park. Luckily, there was some very close to where I wanted to go.I strolled over and spent about 10 minutes under the CCTV camera before I located the cache.TFTC kolour
Found cache after looking around the park. Came at night so the camera was suspicious. Tftc
Squelch squelch to GZ after all the rain, the coordinates sent me in the wrong direction. Getting the log out was a challenge in itself!NAGL? Not with the camera watching.TFTC kolour
Finally found it! This was my third attempt, but the first time the park was not full of people. Ignored where my GPS said to look and tried the nearby suspect areas.
After a few domestic chores this morning the time came for me to head out and enjoy a spot of geocaching. Heading the geowagon in the direction of the hills today I had a few target caches on the radar for a challenge cache Im working on. Arriving at an appropriate place to park the geowagon I soon made my way to GZ and located the prize. Made my mark and I as soon on my way to the next adventure.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available for fellow cachers to enjoy.Cheers
I swear this cache has something against me and my cousin. We came back a second time and didnt find it after 30 minutes and some weird looks from across the street.
this was my first find so i was very surprised to find it almost immediately. tftc!
Great cache in an urban area. This was my second REALLY tiny one and rolling the log made me LOSE MY MIND! Great spot and a great cache! Thank you for the cache!
Out and about after the movies with Bennyslays and we started a methodical search, when we were joined by a Muggle intrigued by what we were doing., Bennyslays made the find whilst distracted the guy with small talk. Tftc
We definitely overthought this one! On more than one occasion, we needed up asking the CO for a little help and with their direction we found it! What a tricky hide TFTC
On my own so only one set of eyes, but I thought I knew the sort of thing I'd be looking for and came up empty-handed, after searching for half an hour and checking all the logs.
Sneaky little hide here..been here a couple of times, muggled out and no time to make a proper search. This time I did have time, and minimal muggle activity, but still had trouble. Had to resort to a paf. Tftc
T-Tech and I headed out this afternoon to gather a few caches for the current souvenir grab. 9 smileys in St Lucia and Indooroopilly was enough to keep us occupied for about 3 hours!
After grabbing a "snack" at the nearby eatery we wandered gently across to GZ. T-Tech made the find again. TFTC, kolour.

Out with IolantheK this avo for a few hours of caching [^]
Parked over the road at McDonalds where we indulged in some chippies.
Nice easy find, when what you think you are looking for, matches what you find [^]

Caching today with RoddyC imbunda and grannysmith1947 on this side of town. Always seems to be a dot out there that needs a smile.
A stroll across from our conveniene stop after lunch passing a couple of guys under the weather and trying to hide their bottles in paperbags and attempting to make conversation.
Took more time than it should have.

I have been here so many times! There’s either been too many muggles, or the cache wasn’t here, or even when it was I was completely cache blind and couldn’t find it.
elina-maree both had a free afternoon (a rarity) and wanted to go caching but because of the storm we ended up only having a few minutes before dinner time so we came by here for a quick look. She managed to find it straight away and although she wanted to let me find it, I had unfortunately seen where her hand went. I’m just happy to have a log to sign and a smile here after looking for so long for this one. TFTC!

After so many try, I finally found it the day I didn't have a pen on me. I took a picture of the log as proof
Out and about driving around and I had a look at what was in the area. It was nice to see some new caches (for me) in the area. I managed to get a park not far from the cache and a very short walk. I was very unsure of the cameras and really thought I was being watched. Are they wondering what I am doing or are they laughing as I cannot seem to find it. I must have walked up and down a few times before I finally made the find. I think I was concentrating more on the cameras then the cache. I signed the log and returned as found. thanks for the hide and wasting no time I was getting out of there, lol.
I have searched for this cache once before but had no luck. Today I reached out for a PAF, it still took some searching but we found the sneaky thing. Tftc
I found this one yesterday afternoon after completing the nearby lab cache and whereigo. This was a quick walk up and grab. I kept thinking nano which helped spot the little blighter.
I am guessing the previous DNF's are people thinking something more elaborate.
TFTC kolour. I'm slowly knocking off your local finds.

Quick search no luck. Followed the previous note of no electrical equipment which helped narrow things down, granted did feel a bit exposed to nearby muggles etc. Might be one to come back in hi vis.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Found it with a little help. I managed to open the log with my nails this time, log signed & cache replaced TFTC
No find for us here today - on time pressure so gave up after a couple of minutes.
I decided to take the geo pup out for a walk and chose this area so I could grab a few caches, win win right? We walked bybthis one and there were a few muggles around so once I had returned to the car and came back to grab this one. I still had to wait out the muggles but they were soon on their way. This sneaky cache took a while to spot but I got there. Now all that is left is to leave my mark and go find a few more before calling it a day. With my name added to the log I went to replace the cache and this is when I realised I had dropped the lid. Confident I could find it I searched for the lid but even with some TOTTs I still could not find it and decided to call off the search and admit defeat. This is a fun little hide, tftc kolour ️
Second attempt at geocaching. After reading some of the comments will try again another time.
Everyone dnfs made me think this cache was a really well hidden type of cache but I did a second rundown of the zone and found it. Definitely easy to overlook if you're over thinking it.
I checked on it again a few days ago and all good. So have added another hint and moved the difficulty to 2.5 with so many DNFs.
I'm the first to admit I'm not particularly good at these urban nano type hides. I'm sure it's there somewhere but I couldn't find it!
With 2 week old puppies at home, my ability to get and cache at the moment is limited…
So while visiting the mega centre next door I walked over to Keating Park to find this corner deserted…
I let my fingers do the walking and although not immediately, I managed to find the cache…
Tftc…

DNF unfortunately. Hoping it hasn't been vandalised! Creator was great tho and responded quickly when we reached out!
Started out at a certain part of the wall, could not make the find. Extended my area and soon spotted the cache.
There were a few ppl over at the playground but otherwise I had the park all to myself this late arvo.
Thanks kolour for this cache

This evening, I decided to check out a few geocaches in Indooroopilly, as well as complete my final Location in *A Shopaholic's Guide to Brisbane* Adventure Lab. I also made sure to complete the *The Fox, The Chicken and The Grain* Wherigo, and that involved quite the fitness for this warm evening, although I should have reconsidered my decision to visit around here given the COVID-19 concerns in this area, in the last few weeks.
I didn't think this cache would be too difficult, but after spending a fair amount of time looking all across the surfaces searching for this evil cache type, I ended up reaching out to the CO. I thought I had checked every place three times, and searched around the building also, just in case the coordinates had shifted. Thankfully, the CO got back to me reasonably quickly, and directed my attention to a particular area. My word, there was the cache - had I just had cache blindness whilst searching around there?! I guess I'll never know. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks kolour for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A medical appointment nearby so naturally called back to this one. Again checked all the obvious spots and starting to think I'm becoming cache blind. About to walk away again when I felt something? How had I not noticed that before. Got the sucker, thanks kolour.
Good to have some new local caches around my area to find. I’ve found four caches today & yesterday (yes, I know that is not an amazing total but it’s significant because they are all within 2km of my home. Fabulous! TFTC Kolour.
TFTC found quite quickly didn’t have a pen on me but can provide photo proof if needed.
Lots of people about in the park this afternoon but none paying any attention to me and I made a quick find. Thanks for the cache
Had an idea what I was looking for and after a short search it was in my hand. TFTC
Gotcha. *FTF* at 3.38.
After a tough day at work, I was just about to head off for a walk to clear my head but luckily I was still near my car when this one came through. I haven’t run for an FTF for a long while, and 3pm is just about the worst time to get into this area.
Fortunately my local knowledge got me to the Park pretty quickly. I’ve been caching long enough that I remember not one, but TWO, caches that were in this park in the past. I reckon this one might just last the longest.
After finding a legal park very nearby, I was striding to the GZ, discovering I would have to dodge a muggle girl on bench (easy) and a BCC groundsman with a lot of work to do around here (harder).
The icon on the map is a very close guide but my phone’s sense of the coords kept trying to make me go through walls etc.
Note to cachers: NO NEED TO TAMPER WITH ANYTHING ELECTRICAL HERE.
After wandering back and forth, I let my fingers do the looking and sure enough, a very familiar shape was soon concealed in my fingers as I walked off to sign up.
I see there is a camera nearby, which will hopefully lengthen the life of the cache, not shorten it.
TFTC where all is fine so far... it’s been quite a while between FTFs and pretty sure this is the first I’ve ever found wearing my formal work gear (see pic)!
Thanks also for the opportunity to burn off some energy and for a T1 cache which is genuinely wheelchair accessible.
