Geocaching can come with occasional injuries . After a physio session, lets continue our pastime / adventures. Nice to find a letterbox, too late for me to drop off a postcard 3 days ago on World Postcard Day. Thanks WaywardWoman for giving this cache for everyone to search. And for my2282 find.
This is day two of our Australian adventure. A beautiful walk to the cache and a great reprieve from the highway! Stamped a crab as hubby is a cancer, and a dog for my sign in Chinese astrology. TFT
Great container to find, today I'm a crab because they are delicious but after the find my hands were telling me I'm a squidThanks for the cache
Loved the amount of stamps at GZ, although ink on my hands, at least its not blood.Manges the find after a passing shower, accompanied by Brewmaker
Found it with Martin cousins while exploring this bush area. Spotted on approach to GZ. I settled for the dog stamp. GeodogZelda would be pleased with me. TFTC
A nice stroll, a short bush bash and then an easy find! What a great container to use, and plenty of animal stamps! But I was too tired I forgot to stamp one next to my name, oh well at least I signed the log! Thanks for the fun, I suppose I am like a monkey because I love to climb!
Doing some last minute caching after spending a lovely long weekend in the Blue Mts. Spent some time visiting some old haunts that I use to frequent as a kid.
Use to spend a lot of my childhood playing in this street and out along these trails.
This was a nice easy find after a short walk from the parking spot.

I don’t think I took the easiest way to the cache but I got there. I’m pretty wet now after the overnight rain wet all the bushes. Easy find once at GZ. Cache nice and dry.
Travelled over from New Zealand to do a two week roadtrip down to the Rutherglen Mega and back to Sydney. Thanks for the cache, WaywardWoman

Out for a fun day with goingplaces2 and we did some caching as well. This was one of our finds and the log was soon signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Decided to have a look for some caches west of the Nepean River with ilook4geo. It was a good day and we found what we looked for without any problem. The hint here was very specific and this made for a quick and easy find. Log was signed and replaced as found. Thanks for this cache placement go to WaywardWoman.

Streak Day #3451 - Hopped in the car for a little drive out this way with Dave8153 for a quick find for the day. TFTC
Now this is what I call a letterbox cache! The letterboxes I've come across recently have been pretenders but this is actually amazing. Beautiful spot as well. Was here at sunset. TFTC
A real letterbox! What a treat. Today I am a bee, buzzing around in the heat collecting sweet caches. Bzzz. Thanks Wayward Woman for the hide.
Took advantage of sunny skies by spending the day in the Blue Mountains. Glad to finally spend time in this area after having to postpone due to poor weather throughout the school holidays. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their caches.
An easy find with the simple hint. TFTC

Down the wet track which geodog enjoyed.
Clever cache and hide thanks WaywardWoman

We used to visit this area decades ago with friends living nearby. Today we braved the drizzle, recorded some frogs and used a doggy stamp. Thanks WaywardWoman.

I am gradually catching up with my logging - am currently a "few" months behind. But that's still over 100 caches! At least my most recent finds are up to date - just need to fill in the gap!
To be honest, while I still find searching for caches fun, I'm finding logging less so. But I have to log to get me stats and souvenirs, so...
Only a few Adventure Labs and my First2Finds have been written up in a timely manner - don't want people racing out when it's already been snaffled.
Nevertheless, I have kept up with my 2022 goal of 16 finds per caching day. In fact, for the most part my modus operandi has been to actually aim for 20. So far I've only failed on that a few times, and only by 1 find. Amazingly I'm on track for 19 finds per day, I just have to put my mind to my future goals... 25 per day? Owwww.
Thanks to all the CO's who have made it possible to keep my goal in sight. Most of the finds have been Traditionals, but a few Puzzle series and the odd other cache type have been grabbed where possible.
Sorry the logs are very generic, but I'll never catch back up otherwise.
###END OF GENERIC ABJECT GROVELLING SECTION###
Headed up to the Bluies for a few finds today. Went bush for a few of them, but nothing with an absurdly high terrain rating, just pleasant walks with a scramble at the end.
Ended up finding six, with one DNF. A pleasant day out.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Yep, it's a letterbox alright. Always enjoy a letterbox.
Fun little one, found quickly.
Completed signing duties, replaced and continued along the track.

It was our last full day in the mountains for this years trip, so we decided to do some more caches around Springwood, the first area we cached in down here 6 years ago, always a nice spot. 21 finds with a handful of DNFs, we had a great day in beautiful weather....
We're always keen for a letterbox, needing increased numbers for a challenge we've signed on the Mid North Coast, and besides they're awesome....
We followed trails as long as we could, then bashed over following the GPS. Coordinates were accurate and the find fast. We chose a dog and crab, as they are the pets we have at home.... don't ask! TFTC! FP, great effort on this one....

We followed the fire trail before splitting off onto the path then onto a smaller path before we trudged off into the bush and quickly found the cache...

After days of rain it is great to be out and about again. A lovely but short walk to GZ where after a bit of rock scrambling the cache was found in good condition. TFTC!

Hmm. I left my stamp at home today...
I can't up the mountains today for some canyoning, and not wanting to put my wet shoes back on to cache afterwards I was only willing for some light bush walks in my sandals. This one was easy enough for my footwear.
Thanks for the cache.

Dan had always wished he was an octupus. There were many times that he needed to have more arms. We enjoyed seeing Springwood again. Great to be back in the Bluies for some more caching. TFTC WaywardWoman
I was saving this one to help maintain my 15 day slump...but I gave up a lot of things in this lock down period...and I really don't care about a slump number. So, I had myself a great day of caching. I started with a morning walk in Faulco for a couple of Lobstrerknees caches, did the "daddy uber" duties, then headed out to Warragamba to complete a Lab thingy and picked up a few WS caches along the way. Today just proved to me that this game is still the thing that I most enjoy doing. Sigh! Great day!
We were walking some of the new bike tracks in the area as it was a lovely afternoon and found this one on our way back to the car. A fun cache. We chose the panda. TFTC.

Coordinates changed to:

Moved this slightly due to muggle activity. Lock has been taken. I will leave it without the lock for the moment. All good to go!

Another lockdown cache! Things have changed since I last checked. Fav animal is Giraffe.
My first letterbox cache and I loved it. So creative and so much fun to do. My animal was a zebra and my mum (who doesn’t geocache) picked the lady bug. Thanks for the cache.
The closest we could get to a lobster was a crab. Out for our daily lockdown exercise, thankful to still have caches in our local area we hadn't yet found. A slightly drizzly morning, will continue along the trail for our walk. Many thanks Wayward Woman.
I needed a walk after a long week at work and this was a good place to start. I continued in for a while enjoying the sounds of the birds.
I picked the seahorse as I find them fascinating and mythical. Saw lots at a venue in Tasmania a few years ago.

[FTF] Had to be a fox to grab the first to find this morning!
Love a letterbox cache, thanks for the hide.

I got the notification for this new cache last night, but I was already warm & comfy, so thought I'd get up early in the morning instead. But, I slept in. Luckily this allowed me and the Imp to claim the highly coveted second to find .
I'm feeling really tired today, and my preference would be to spend the day curled up in bed asleep. That's probably how Pickles (my cat) will spend his day. So I chose the cat stamp. Imp, having a fascination for Japanese mythology, chose the fox.

I got up just as Mum was about to leave this morning, and decided to come along. She found the cache pretty quickly, then told me we were second to find, which I've now learned is the most highly prized title in local caching circles.
I love the Kitsune in Japanese folklore, so I picked the fox stamp.
Thank you for placing this cache.
