Tftc. GPS al over the shop so just ended up looking at all the trees. Finally spotted it. Extraction difficult as closely guarded by large angry black ants. Luckily gloves helped me keep most of them at bay but a few managed to bite though.Log a bit damp but still able to sign.
Out and about picking up some icons around here as Mrs Gunnie was off entertaining her BF visitor from Adelaide. A nice quiet morning but boy, the sun was packing a punch and the humidity was a little nasty. Thankfully, little energy expended on this one as the cache was quickly located at GZ. Lucky for the dual container arrangement as the log was a little damp, but still usable. I was pleased this end of the park was nice and quiet. Grabbing the cache could have been very tricky with muggles loitering around. Cheers Dfc_jlk2019.
A couple of likely options when we got in the vicinity and, of course, it was in the last place we looked. TFTC.
Found cache after visiting vet with Cherry & Eevee. Another of the Brisbane Ferry series ticked off.
Avenged the DNF! My GPS was found wild under the trees and I was trying to find GZ for about 30 minutes before finally getting to one centre point and finding it. Nice one, thanks for the cache!Coolabah OUT!!!
Despite a couple of previous logs suggesting the coordinates weren't quite right, they were absolutely spot-on for us. Probably we should have looked a bit harder than we did before trusting those reports and moving on to other possible hiding places. Eventually we came back to where we started and found it after a bit of poking with a stick.
Looked a lot, I see it hasnt been found for 6 weeks, hope its still there, well try again another time
Found on our adventures to collect some minerals from a local. Such a cool park
Heading to UQ today for Atomic School and this cache was on the way. Gps was all over the place so I ended up just looking in the obvious places. Ended up 10m from gz once the gps settled, possibly inaccurately. But thanks for bringing us here as kids were tantalised enough by the ninja warrior course to actually get out of the car.
Found today while in town seeing my family, was there with the Cache Owner doing a maintenance run.
On my way home from work and it was pretty dark, but no muggles in my way. Good use of the torch function on the phone to see, retrive and sign for my find for the day. Tftc
T-Tech and I headed out this afternoon to gather a few caches for the current souvenir grab. 9 smileys in St Lucia and Indooroopilly was enough to keep us occupied for about 3 hours!
We were nearby so stopped to make this one a smiley too. T-Tech made the find. TFTC, Dfc_jlk2019.

Riding the river loop and thought we'd stop for a few caches.
We bounced between a few trees until we found the right one

Made our way through this lovely little park which was almost deserted and found the cache safely tucked away. TFTC
A nice quick one that just took quite a bit of a dig through the leaf litter find. Thanks Dfc_jlk2019
Out and about bright and early as we have a lot of things to do today before heading home tonight for a special event tomorrow. TFTC Dfc_jlk2019
This afternoon, with a coffee event and CITO event planned at the University of Queensland (UQ), I departed work earlier than usual in order to ride my bike to the scheduled festivities. A good catch-up with everyone, followed by a tough terrain clean-up along the banks of the Brisbane River. Despite cutting through Highgate Hill and Elenor Schonell Bridge in order to get to UQ, I took Coronation Drive bikeway on my way back to Brisbane CBD, making a few extra St Lucia stops.
My final cache find for today's outing, and I also think this cache may be my final in the *Brisbane Ferries* series too? Pulling up at GZ, I did expect a spot that contained the cache, but a quick search and it didn't feel like a cache was hidden there, so I wandered about a bit more. After reading a few past logs, I deduced that my intuition was indeed correct, and I reverted back to my intiial thoughts, where I soon found the cache tucked away. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Dfc_jlk2019 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

On a Saturday park visit with GeoM. We tried out the Ninja Warrior course and concluded that we are better cachers. A quick find here. TFTC!
Had some time to grab this cache before heading home. Quite a number of muggles using this park and I’m impressed with the facilities here. Quick find, TFTC.
Finally our first 'Found It' on this series, phew, after a tally of 0/3 we were thinking it was not going to happen, TFTC Dfc_jlk2019
Not sure if we looked in the wrong place last time, but today it was an easy find. TFTC
Finally finished for today run. Running late so no gym today but caching instead. Quick easy find here.
Cache replace in right location. At least there were no muggles around.

#11322 - The last cache in this part of Brisbane. After having explored the University of Queensland via some carefully selected caches, I headed back to the ferry to return to the city center. A small detour to this nice quick find, and then off to the ferry terminal.
TFTF and greetings from Sweden!

In Brisbane on business for two weeks, and taking the opportunity to find some caches over the weekend. Today's weather was beautiful sunshine from a clear blue sky and a light breeze.

I popped by this morning hoping to clear my map around St Lucia. I took full advantage of the hint, past logs and past spoiler photos. I am quite confident that this one has been muggled again.
Stop 3 of our Australia tour is Queensland. Catching up with friends and old haunts in Brisbane. Visiting our land at Mt Mellum and friends at their Neurum Creek camp ground. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining caches for us to find.
The “kids” had fun on the nearby park equipment while I searched for this one. Thanks for the cache

Out and about today to grab a few caches and to continue a new challenge I have set myself. Needing to find caches I set myself a few over the toowong St. lucia way, it was a small list as I have been around here for a few already.
This one was an easy find and with another in the park area, I decided to park up and go for a walk. I signed the log and replaced as found and then moved onto the next cache. Thanks for the hide.

Found it with the help of my amazing cousin! Sadly a dead animal near GZ so he was braver than me in investigating. TFTC
Out caching with Mr Curious Quest. This cache was quickly located and the log signed. TFTC
Out and about with Selva Girls to pick up some caches today.Nice quick find TFTC
Awesome Queensland morning to head out for a few hours of fresh air and excercise before tackling The admin of life. Found this little fellow a few meters off but in a logical spot for a cache
Cheers

I figured a mild Brisbane Autumn evening would be a good time to have a crack at some of the caches in this series. After an early DNF, I have now managed two tricky finds so far in the series.
Again, it was very dark and quiet here. After a cursory search in the obvious spot, I expanded my search without success. I then ventured back to the original spot and got serious with a stick to clear the decaying leaf litter. Digging deeper than expected, I uncovered the cache. All in good order.

Once the rain event is over, the river goes down and we have sorted our house once we finally get home. We will get some containers sorted then we will head out and do a maintenance run right throughout our Brisbane Ferries Series in Brisbane City.

In the area and with no real plan I’m looking at random caches in random places…
This was a nice quick find in the logical location… I even got to watch the odd cyclist zip past…

After a park run adventure, we decided to check out this place in St Lucia for lunch which is closing down soon.. A bit of a mistake as it was sooooo busy. But as we are a bit stubborn, we decided to wait and did a spot of caching in the meanwhile. Found this one quickly! Thanks for helping us kill some time
Really fun spot. Why did they mention do not be a monkey if there were not a single vines! Love from Sienna and josh
After work i decided to pop in to pick up this smiley. I found a park not fat away and followed the compass straight to the cache. What a lovely little park. Thankyou for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy
We were heading to UQ and stopped to find this one. There was a fairy party being set up on the lawn very close to GZ but the majority of the party goers were on the pay equipment so I could search without worry. I searched the area at GZ and on the side furtherest from the party area with no luck and so I bit the bullet and moved closer to the party area and soon found the cache. I casually leant up against the tree as I signed the log and then replaced the cache and moved directly away from the party area without anyone taking any interest in me.

With lockdown over at 4 pm, and with very itchy and twitchy muscles after being stuck inside for some days due to lockdown, we were so keen for a walk.
In fact, we checked the air in the bicycle tyres, and decided to ride from home to Guyatt park. After a good week in lockdown, our muscles were groaning, and the ride was very slow in the late afternoon.
Lockdown certainly produces some good food and cooking in our home, however also definitely a lack of Geocache finds. Our puzzle solving for some future adventures does benefit however!
With accurate coordinates, we soon had this one in the bag!
Thanks for this series. It is lovely to see how you are highlighting all the ferry stops along the river.

Not having a good run with Bne Ferries, so pleased to log a (quick) find this time. T4TC
After a ferry ride to UQ St Lucia to complete 2 Virtuals & 1 puzzle cache stopped off here in search of a couple of trads. Happy to say that I actually found this one! TFTC
An evening drive for a few finds, working towards a personal goal.
Walked across the park and made a quick find

After finding the West End Ferry cache, I took the City Cat over the river Guyatt Park to find this one. It was a short walk to GZ where I quickly found the cache.
Thanks for taking the time to create a new inner Brisbane series Dfc_jlk2019, I look forward to finding them all.

Well, a lazy day out around inner south Brisbane, and after a few false starts I finally nabbed one of this series. This one was great.
Thanks Dfc_jlk2019 for entertaining me at this location.
