Logs
Last entry is on 11.8.24 - then two cachers with finding only the cable tie. And said cache is gone. No, the original cache is still there - just was hanging over a little bough. We zipped it now again. So all good to go!Happy caching Uwe
Today is a beautiful day and we are going on a cachertour. We walk along the hiking trail past small ponds with lots of ducks and back along the new residential area.On the way, we keep looking for caches and are happy about our find. Thanks for the caches sayTeam sissifalkeUnfortunately we only found the fastening here, the cache has been stolen. I hope our log is OK.
I suspect that I found where this cache is meant to be hanging (as I located a very distinctive zip tie set up. However, it looked like the piece of wire attaching the cache to the tree had rusted off and was unable to find the cache.
I have already completed a challenge of collecting a cache on every day of the calendar year. Now a new one insists it must be a trad on each day. Ouch. Luckily I have moved to the other side of the river and have a whole heap more caches to get. Drove all the way to the south side, past heaps of caches and didn't remember I needed a trad until all the way back here. Quick find at the location.
Took the kids to the park nearby so I decided to take a look. Cache found quickly when looking in the right angle. TFTC
Headed north with RoddyC and Hatzofff to attend a CITO later in the day so we planned to pick up some caches before that Event. Signed the log before replacing as found. TFTC

Right in the middle of the areas I was looking around, lucky it was metallic colour
TEMBO! and I visited together the series of "North Harbour" and signed the guestbook. This is a nice place to walk arround. Thanks to TBU2Uwe001 for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
Confused by the first cache and the further route (construction site), we searched for and found this one afterward. T4TC
Took a little circle work to find the right tree, thanks for another cache in this series.
Found it TFTC Out for a Saturday arvo cache with Mrs wooness Team wooness NSW
On a brisk Saturday morning I headed north to pick up a few caches and enjoy the great outdoors. After finding a good spot to park the car it was a short walk to ground zero where it didn’t take long to locate the prize. Log extracted and a mark made of prosperity. Returned the cache safely to its hiding place and then on to the next challenge.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers
Ps pen ran out of ink so scribble made

Was a bit sketchy walking through the long waterty grass but shoes remained dry. Found on 21/1/21 with Sando076.
We parked the car near the dog park, then walked off in the direction of the bird hide, bit too hot for any to be out, then wandered along beside the lake to gz.
Fairly quick find of this shiny one.

Came back to find this after finding the other 9! 10/10!! Feeling great and it’s only 10:31am
We originally looked at the wrong spot here, checking all the options to find nothing when The Marble turned around and it was right there in front of her. Thanks TBU2Uwe001
Walked right past this as I headed where I thought the cache should be hidden. It wasn’t until I turned around that I spotted it in another tree. Cache safe and dry. TFTC
TBU2Uwe001 I found your cache North Harbour 8 on 15/9/2022, 11:40 am. This is my find 4184 and find # 6 today. Found it after a brief search. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Out for stroll for the afternoon, and caching caches along the way, as with everything it turns into a competition, it’s now BFG 4 v shutter 4.
Having been stuck in the house for two weeks in isolation, I just had to get out today.
I decided to finish the series of caches up at North Harbour, so here we go.
Fortunately there was a track leading from the path straight to GZ and with the colour of the container really standing out, this was a nice quick find.
Thanks!!

#8, easy find, then I dropped the log. Once I managed to retrieve it, I signed and replaced. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Alyce and I haven’t done any caching since we arrived back from Perth, so after dropping the eldest at work we decided to head over to North Harbour to grab the remaining caches in this series.
We were focused on catching Pokémon that were strolled right past GZ, whoops. We turned back and spotted a few geotrails so we wandered on in. Searched one spot and couldn’t find anything so searched another spot and soon had the cache in hand.
Thanks for bringing us here.

I managed to grab a little time out from work and went for a ride around this area. Did not get all the caches today, I was a little short on time, so I will have to come back. I picked this area as I am still trying to push along with my personal challenge that I have set myself. There are some nice little hides but I guess a hint would be nice just to reduce the time wasting. Tree head height, BOT, fence, etc just saying it would be nice.
Thanks for the caches I did today, I started from ten and worked my way back, which saw me at the difficult one early I guess. Thanks for the caches and the hides, it was nice to see new logs and the continuous maintenance being done on this series, thanks. This one I managed to find without too much trouble.
I signed the log and replaced the cache as found and continued on with my caches for today. Thanks for the hide, all good here.

A quick trip to North Harbour to collect the latest three caches in this series… they seem to pop up as quickly as the streets do out here…
A nice enough walk to GZ where there was a couple of geotrails to choose from… I picked right and soon had the cache in hand…

Thanks Mikey for your first aid to the cache. We went today and fixed it.
Happy caching!

I arrived at GZ and had a bit of a look around at the obvious spot, and then switched attention to the lesser bush. Here I found a broken cable-tie still partly around the stem, which is the way TBU often attach their caches.
A quick phone call to the CO (only to learn some bad news as to their health............get well soon Uwe!!), and then I saw the bison on the ground. Placed it back on a broken twig on the tree....all good!

A public holiday, a stunning day. Perfect combo for a caching expedition. After completing the AL up the road, I found no dogs were allowed along that trail so decided to tackle this group instead.
A quick find at gz. Log signed and cache replaced as found.
TBU2Uwee001 for placing this trail.

Out to collect my geo-daughter off the bus at the nearby BP, and need to kill some time. Grabbed the Geo-dad and geo-car and decided to grab these that are close at hand.
Cache 4 for the day.
Okay, back to the car as bus with geo daughter us due soon. Grabbed a drink to stay hydrated.
Got a call from the geo-missus that the bus is running late. Excellent, time for a few more caches while we are on a roll.
Walked the other side of the park to GZ4, a reasonably quick find thanks to eagle eyes dad. Again.
Thanks for cache!

We drove down the highway to make these five caches our morning walk today and we were surprised at how the development has progressed since the last time we were there. The pathways and outdoors areas are just lovely. We spotted this cache hanging in its hidey place, signed the log and replaced as found. A lovely walk around thanks TBU2Uwe001 for placing these caches for us to find.
The kids really enjoyed this one. They noticed the tracks of others who had been before. The five year old found it first and was really excited. TFTC!
This one took a while, and I almost gave up. Lucky there were no muggles about so I had the time to go around in circles not seeing it.
