Today is a beautiful day and we are going on a cachertour. We walk along the hiking trail past small ponds with lots of ducks and back along the new residential area.On the way, we keep looking for caches and are happy about our find. Thanks for the caches sayTeam sissifalke
Another day of needing a trad so MrTT and I came "into town" early for an appt so I could duck and grab a cache. It took me a bit to work out how to approve gz. Cache didn't take too many trips of circumnavigating trees before I found it. Finding an easy way back to civilisation was more tricky.
So happy to log this one!Definitely not a fan of bushbashing mainly due to a fear of snakes.Coordinates bounced around a bit today so happy to lock eyes on this well camouflaged cache.Now. what track did I come in on??? After getting totally lost finally found a semi safe route out.Great cache. Thanks for the fun adventure on a glorious Qld winters day.
Headed north with RoddyC and Hatzofff to attend a CITO later in the day so we planned to pick up some caches before that Event. Signed the log before replacing as found. TFTC
Planning to attend the CITO later in the day. Time now to pick up some unfounds before heading over Wandered our way in.Caching with RoddyC and imbunda.TFTCache TBU2Uwe001
Out caching with hatzofff and Imbunda while on our way to a nearby CITO Event.Bush bash. Hope there's no ticks! Certainly mozzies.Log signed and cache replaced as found at 10:05 AM on May 18, 2024. TFTC, TBU2Uwe001.
TEMBO! and I visited together the series of "North Harbour" and signed the guestbook. This is a nice place to walk arround. Thanks to TBU2Uwe001 for hiding and maintaining the cache.T4TC Filser1
Well, here the mosquitoes successfully defended the cache for a very long time. But *Filser1* was unstoppable and found the perfect hidden treasure. T4TC
Took a little while to find the right path, but the cache was OK, thanks for another one.
On a brisk Saturday morning I headed north to pick up a few caches and enjoy the great outdoors. After finding a good spot to park the car it was a short walk to ground zero where it didn’t take long to locate the prize. Log extracted and a mark made of prosperity. Returned the cache safely to its hiding place and then on to the next challenge.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

Out for a Wednesday play date with nikid1 & I'm after a few more team work attributes for a particular challenge so that dictated our adventures today. We managed to find a dry path to the cache today.
Thanks for the cache TBU2Uwe001

Out for a day of caching with KerriMG (& on a Wednesday which is a day early for us). KerriMG was chasing teamwork attributes which bought us to this series. Not sure we took the correct route into this one but once at GZ it was a quick find a little lower than the hint lead us to believe.

Bit soft underfoot ( I read the comments after arriving!). This place obviously floods quite often. TFTC
Well, you weren't kidding about the mozzies! We followed the track from the last edge of the swamp and could see where the water would have rushed over from the lake during the last floods into the casaurina forest. We soon spotted the cache, but as soon as we stopped, the mozzies swarmed. We couldn't sign the log fast enough, got eaten alive and then chased out of there. Made a run for it through the swamp, got only one foot wet when I slipped into a hole. Then safe once we reached the grass.

TBU2Uwe001 I found your cache North Harbour 9 on 29/11/2022, 4:25 pm. This is my find 4495 and find # 12 today. Found a dry way to the cache. After a brief search soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
We started the walk from this end and when I got home I saw that I missed no. 10 oh well another day. Found this one after a short search. Thanks for placing.
On the way to find this cache we came across around 50 bottles and cans. After finding the cache we went back to the car for some bags and then collected the can and bottles. TFTC.
Took a note of the suggestion in the description and found a longer dry route through to GZ for a quick find. Thanks TBU2Uwe001
Managed to keep the feet dry as we made our way to GZ where the cache was found safe and dry. TFTC
Out for a nice stroll and caching. As everything with us it gets competitive, BFG 5 shutter 4
Having been stuck in the house for two weeks in isolation, I just had to get out today.
I decided to finish the series of caches up at North Harbour, so here we go.
I don't think you can reach GZ without getting wet feet (and it hasn't rained in weeks). This one took a little while as the CO is obviously a lot smaller than me (assumed from the hint), but when caching, perseverance is the key.
Thanks!!

#9, relatively easy find but I got my feet wet in the process. TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Alyce and I haven’t done any caching since we arrived back from Perth, so after dropping the eldest at work we decided to head over to North Harbour to grab the remaining caches in this series.
Navigating to GZ was a challenge at first, but after some rock hopping we were on track and soon arrived at GZ and quickly spotted the hide.
Thanks for bringing us here.

I managed to grab a little time out from work and went for a ride around this area. Did not get all the caches today, I was a little short on time, so I will have to come back. I picked this area as I am still trying to push along with my personal challenge that I have set myself. There are some nice little hides but I guess a hint would be nice just to reduce the time wasting. Tree head height, BOT, fence, etc just saying it would be nice.
Thanks for the caches I did today, I started from ten and worked my way back, which saw me at the difficult one early I guess. Thanks for the caches and the hides, it was nice to see new logs and the continuous maintenance being done on this series, thanks. This one I managed to find without too much trouble and although there was water all round, my shoes did not get wet, so happy about that.
I signed the log and replaced the cache as found and continued on with my caches for today. Thanks for the hide, all good here.

A quick trip to North Harbour to collect the latest three caches in this series… they seem to pop up as quickly as the streets do out here…m
I looked at my map and took note of the blue squiggles and thought I was going to be in trouble….
Following what appeared to be a trail on the map, but could have been an underground pipe I was met with a lot of water… a slight change of course and I was expecting more, and unless I somehow walked on water made it to the cache with dry feet…

After making my way across the rocks and into the forest of mozzies, I had a short search and many bites before I saw the blighter, not as far in as I had ventured. Don't worry about the mozzies..........they've taken enough blood from me to feed them for a year!!! Or wear a bubble suit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A public holiday, a stunning day. Perfect combo for a caching expedition. After completing the AL up the road, I found no dogs were allowed along that trail so decided to tackle this group instead.
A quick find at gz. Log signed and cache replaced as found.

Out to collect my geo-daughter off the bus at the nearby BP, and need to kill some time. Grabbed the Geo-dad and geo-car and decided to grab these that are close at hand.
Cache 5 for the day.
Time to mosey on around in to the bush for this one. Path in was a little damp after some rain, but not too bad. Geo-dad is on fire today, and located quickly.
Thanks for cache!

We drove down the highway to make these five caches our morning walk today and we were surprised at how the development has progressed since the last time we were there. The pathways and outdoors areas are just lovely. This was one of the caches we found after an enjoyable walk through the soft grass. log signed and replaced as found thanks TBU2Uwe001 for placing these cache for us to find.
Not the easiest to get to with the bike, but after the plunge off the grassed area it was nice and dry and fairly flat on the direct approach.
Out with Mr CuriousQuest, finding a few caches. Another quick find and sign here. TFTC
A lovely day out caching with Selva Girls. We made our way to gz a nice quick find was made. TFTC

Great find! Took us a bit but when it was found, seemed so obvious. Loved this one!
Out with Whint for the day, a few caches and some shopping and lunch.
We did all the caches in this series but I’d already found a couple of them.
All were found after a short hunt, some shorter then others.

A day out with Pprime, Fangsoki and 1MinnieMoo to find a few of the caches in the North Harbour Area.
We had a discussion about the easiest way to attack this cache as it appeared to be in the middle of the swamp.
Luckily, we took the right route and kept our shoes dry.

23/5/21 Find #4801
After a bigger day of hiking yesterday, it was decided that today should be a nice flat journey and some easier caches.
Fangsoki, Pprime, Crew153 and I settled on heading to North Harbour for the day to do the walk around there and then collect all/the remainder of this series.
We continued our journey around to this one, wondering if we were about to get “swamped”. However we managed to keep our feet dry, and at GZ Pprime found the cache quickly.
Thanks for the cache TBU2Uwe001.

A magical morning meander with mates - 1MinnieMoo, Fangsoki and Crew153 - motoring around the neighbourhood and a great little series of interesting hides.
Thanks TBU2Uwe001 for entertaining me at this location.

Pprime, Crew, 153, 1MinnieMoo, and I were in the area today. We decided to go for a stroll through these caches. 1MinnieMoo and I had done most of them.
Allow me to be the first one to give this one a favourite point. I like a tromp through the bush - close to civilisation - but somewhere civilisation won't muggle out.
Pprime soon found the beast safe and sound and he signed the log for us. Another great hide. TFTC TBU2Uwe001

Of course we went the wrong side and had to step high on the tufts of grass to avoid getting our feet wet. Looking looking and then I felt like we were in a pantomime as Waz called it's behind you, it's behind you. Twirled around and yep there it was, tftc
Today I decided to go for a little bike ride before my canteen duties at our footy club and find 6 to 10 of these north harbour caches. I ended up riding just under 3 kms and found 4 caches and 1 dnf at number 6. I had to do a little back tracking as there were alot of muggles enjoying this lovely track on such a beautiful morning. This was my first find for today and I used the hint for a quickish find. Thankyou for taking me here and for placing this cache here for us to enjoy

Headed to this one next. A bit wet here but managed to avoid the water. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks TBU2Uwe001. All good with this cache.
At last it had stopped raining, so a quick dash down the Bruce to find these three before it started again. I can confirm that you will get wet feet after rain and there are many mozzies waiting for your arrival at GZ. LOL. TFTC TBU2Uwe001
'FTF'
Thanks to a PAF for letting us know that there was three FTF's out there for grabs. We had just got back to the caravan when we received the call so we turned around and went for it.
This cache was no where near as quick as number 10, the mozzies soon found us and it was hard to shine the torch to look for the cache and smack the little buzzy mozzies at the same time. The co-ords are good and the cache is IPS once you ignore the mozzies.
